January Club...

It's club time!!! I had my monthly club group over this Wednesday. I LOVE Valentine's Day so I was excited to do some Valentine projects. On to the projects...we did a card and a fabulous chocolate box! The card....

The pink pirouette piece is up on dimensionals so the birds are in a little window. I got this from Kristina Werner. She has all the directions for you as part of her Virtual Club. Click HERE if you are interested. Such a darling card.

The box....


I love this box so much. I just thought it was perfect. I saw it HERE on Cambria's blog. She gives you all the directions, but I am adding a little piece. I'm a visual person, so I thought if you were too....this picture of what the box looks like after it's scored and cut will help:
So you start with a 4.5" x 8" piece of Card stock. With the 4.5" end butted up against the top of your cutter, score at 1" and 3.5". Then flip it so the 8" piece is butted up against the top of your cutter. Score at 2", 3", 5", and 6". Then cut where shown in the picture. If you want any stamping on your box, stamp before you put together. I used Sticky Strip to hold mine, because I don't want this falling apart. :) Then I closed the flap with velcro. TOO MUCH FUN and such a great Valentine for anyone!
