Sea of Textures Swap Time!

On Stage is now over, but I hope you had fun following along with me on social media!  (If you aren't following me on Facebook or Instagram...head on over there and follow me!  Design With Ink)  It was such a blast!!!  I will have more to share when I return home!  Today, however, I wanted to share the swap card I made for a group swap that I was in.  I love organized swaps because it's usually all I have time for!  (Swapping is where you make a designated number of one card, and swap with others that did the same!  A great way to get a bunch of ideas!)

I love the Sea of Textures stamp set (with coordinating framelits!) and that's the stamp set I ended up reaching for with my swap!

ColorsWhisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Shimmery White
Stamps: Sea of Textures
Tools: Big Shot, Under the Sea Framelits, Seaside Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Do you like that octopus as much as I?!  And funny thing is...I think they are SUPER ugly in real life.  Gag.  Me.  But on much fun and oh so cute!  I love a good ocean theme.  😁

Look how fun to see the whole pile of them.  Am I the only one out there that LOVES seeing all this hard work in a photo?!

So much fun!!!  And let's not forget to show you some details...

Little peekaboo of the Seaside embossed Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  💕

This octopus is so much fun to stamp.  I inked him up in Flirty Flamingo first, and then sponged a little bit of Calypso Coral ink over that.  It is pretty subtle, but I like the variation of colors on him.

Can't get enough of these sequins!  They rock my world!  😀

I so hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!!!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Today I wanted to share one of the gifts I made for this event!  I made a whole lot of these because I made them for a fun gift swap I was in and also made some other so pass out to friends.  I am SOOOOO thankful for all the friendships I have made through Stampin' Up and so I love to have little goodies to pass out. Want to see?!?!  First photo is from the gift swap I was in. I'm kind of in love with these.  😍

ColorsWhisper White, Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Powder Pink, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Night of Navy, Soft Sea Foam, Shaded Spruce, Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Abstract Impressions
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes, Sprig Punch, Petal Burst Embossing Folder

How cute is this?!  I basically copied myself for this.  I posted THESE awhile ago, and thought it would be perfect for this purpose!  But this time I used the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper pack.  Totally swooning over this!

I just love all the patterns and colors!  Look at some of them before I filled them...

Photo overload because I can't get enough.  Haha.  Want to see more?!  😀

This sprig punch is pretty much my favorite.  Love the little accent it adds behind things.  Such a fun and easy element.  😍😍😍  If you don't have this professional opinion is that you need it.  😁

Then look how cute it is with either candy or a fun gift in it...

I just love this so much, in case you couldn't tell.  😉  Please let me know if you have any questions!

It's A Joy...Treat Box:

Have you noticed the Clear Treat Boxes in the catalog yet?!  If really need to look.  😁  They are so cute and I love making fun little treat boxes with this.  This project is super quick and easy!  Although I do have a sad note to tell you.  The "joy" word on this project is from the Festive Farmhouse Elements that are now sold out.  I'm so sorry!  However...I am sharing this project still because:

1.  That Buffalo Check background stamp is 😍😍😍.
2.  You can easily just replace the wood word with a stamped greeting die-cut word from our fun Big Shot dies!  🙌

So...on to the project!!!!!

Colors:  Cherry Cobbler, Gray Granite
Cardstock/Papers:  Cherry Cobbler, Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Buffalo Check
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits
Accessories:  5/8" Striped Burlap Trim, Festive Farmhouse Elements

What do you think?!  See why I still had to show it!  SOOOO simple and easy, yet I don't know anyone that wouldn't love receiving this!!

And here it is when the box is empty.  (Just a note...those are chocolate covered almonds in there above.  😋)

I hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks so much for visiting!  What are your holiday creating plans?!  I would love to hear!  Also let me know if you have any questions!

EEK!!! Halloween Decor!!!

Just stopping by quickly to share a fun Halloween project I made for my fireplace mantle.  I didn't want to even decorate this has been so busy and I just didn't really care.  (Anyone else ever feel that way?!) kids kept asking when we would decorate.  After a few times of them asking... I decided that I could go through my decor and get rid of stuff I didn't want anymore while I was in the process of deorating.  😀  (We have been trying to clear out and just get rid of extra stuff we don't need to have around.) That was a Halloween decor happened!  Hee.  However...when I went to do my mantle...I had an idea for something that I wanted to put up.  I just didn't own it. my craft room!!  Want to see what I made?! ...

(Thanks to my cutie daughter for helping the photo process!  💗)

Colors:  Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, 2017-2019 In Color 12" x 12" Cardstock, Basic Black, Gorgeous Grape, Shimmery White, Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper
Stamps: NONE!
Tools: Big Shot, 2 1/4" Circle Punch, Large Letters Framelits, Stitched Seasons Framelits (retired)
Accessories:  NONE!
What do you think?!  I kinda am in love.  I LOVE the clean, bright colored, lots of white space look.  It pretty much makes my heart happy.  The background is just a piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (12"x12").  Then I punched out some circles from Lemon Lime Twist Designer Series Paper (from the Animal Expedition paper) and just added them to the background...

Now let's chat for a minute.  One of my MOST USED ITEMS EVER have been these Large Letter Framelits.  They. Are. Fantastic.  I call them out a little, because they are a pricey item.  However...WELL worth it!!  Please let me know if you have any questions about them!

What do you think of the frame?!  This was so quick and easy to whip up.  And it got to be just what I wanted it to be, in the colors I wanted it to be.  Do you ever reach for your papercrafting supplies when decorating?!  I do ALLLLLLLLL the time.  Here is the fun frame up on my mantle...

I obviously don't do "spooky" decor for Halloween.  My kids have never loved it, and I scare super easy.  😂  So still festive...just not so spooky.  And as you can the white look in my home decor also.

I would love to see how you decorate your home!!!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

TGIF Challenge 183 ... Washi & Twine Awesomeness:

It's time for a product spotlight for our TGIF Challenge this week!  Woot!!!! 🙌  I seriously LOVE being on this Design Team.  If you haven't played along with us before, this is a fun and easy week to start!  And if you have played will love this challenge!

Before I tell you what the challenge is, I want to see if you have any guesses as to what product we are spotlighting.  Here is the card I made:

ColorsBlueberry Bushel, Mango Melody, Gray Granite, Whisper White
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White,Blueberry Bushel
Stamps: En Route
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits
Accessories:  Linen Thread, Best Route Washi Tape, Best Route Enamel Shapes

Soooooo...any guesses?!??!?!  Well if you guessed...

...then you are correct!  This card kind of appeared in my mind when I saw the challenge...and it pretty much came out how I pictured!  I call that a WIN! because that does NOT happen that way for me usually.  Hee.  😀

So the background stripes I did with Washi Tape!!!  So easy!  I completely eyeballed it--no measuring here!!!  And just layed them down over a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I ripped the Washi longer than the the ends were going over the ends of the cardstock.  Then just folded it back to the back of the cardstock to give it a nice finished look (and ensures the Washi won't peel up at all!!  Another win!)

This washi pack is from the "Best Route" suite.  (As are the enamel shapes...they are the "Best Route" enamel shapes.)  I LOVE to travel so I LOVE this suite!  So much fun!  And I LOVE this greeting on the card.  Because I fully believe this!  Taking care of YOU is so important!!!  (Even if the "Awesome" thing you get done that day is spending 5 mins alone in quiet time that you give yourself. 😀)

And I use twine in probably almost every project I make.  I LOVE the texture it adds, without adding a lot of bulk.  I keep a pretty heavy stash of this Linen Thread on hand at all times.  Hee.

The inside was fun to do also.  Just took another fun greeting and stamped a few of the images in the corner.  Just a fun bonus when they open the card!

I hope you enjoy this challenge!  Can't wait to see what you make!  Head on over the the challenge blog: TGIF Challenges, to submit your entry!!!!

Please let me know if you have any questions or need help getting any fabulous Stampin' Up! supplies!

Grateful Heart with Falling Leaves...

Have you used the "Falling for Leaves" bundle from Stampin' Up! yet?!  If you haven' need to.  Like right away.  😀  It. Is. So. Gorgeous.  Now let it be known...I don't love fall like most people.  It's a fine season...but summer has my heart.  So it's a bit of a let down for me to lose the summer weather when fall hits.  So for me to say I love something that is "fall" know it's good.  Hee.  This card actually looks a bit more spring-y...but that's fine by me!  💕  I don't think you HAVE to stick with traditional colors all the time.  What do you think?!

ColorsCrumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Soft Seafoam, Whisper White
Cardstock/PapersCrumb Cake, Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Soft Seafoam, Brights Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Falling For Leaves, Waterfront (splatter image)
Tools: Big Shot, Detailed Leaves Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits
Accessories:  Linen Thread, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins
Look at all the fun layers to this card...yet it's pretty simple.  I LOVE this detailed edge (just done with one of the framelits from the bundle)...

And a better look at this leaf framelit...that I am COMPLETELY swooning over!!!!  😍😍😍

And I love that greeting.  I will be using that a bunch this season.  Want one more look at the full card?!  Well here you go!!!

(AHHHHHHH!!!  I just noticed one of my sequins fell off for it's photo shoot!  I'm so sorry!  There was a third sequin on there!  Hope you didn't notice.  😀)

I hope you enjoy this card!  Please let me know how I can help you!  Thanks so much for visiting!
