Peace & Happiness With Plaid...

The Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper has such a fun variety of patterns and color combos.  I loved this mostly white pattern so much...I decided it needed to take up lots of real estate on a card.  😀  So here is a fun card for anyone that loves a white Christmas...

Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold
Inks: VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Thick Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold Foil Paper, Wrapped In Plaid Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Perfectly Plaid, Itty Bitty Christmas
Tools: Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Stitched Rectangles, Pine Tree Punch, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch
Accessories: Linen Thread, Jingle Bells

My fave part may be this little jingle bell...it really jingles!!!

I love the gold embossing also.  Makes everything just feel so fancy.  😍

I hope you enjoy this card!  The coordinating stamp set and punch make quick work in making this card!

TGIF On Stage Pre-Party Good Time!

Earlier this month, Stampin' Up! hosted events, called On Stage, all over the world!  I was lucky enough to attend one in Las Vegas, Nevada!  I. Had. A. Blast!  It was a fun weekend getaway filled with FRIENDS (the most important part!), parties, stamping, NEW products, etc, etc.  I have LOTS to share from this event, but today I am sharing a fabulous Pre-Party the TGIF Challenge team put on!

Mercedes and Jeanna, the leaders of the challenge group, put SO MUCH time & effort into making this a success.  And the rest of us from the team that were attending the Vegas event were lucky enough to be able to help!  And. We. Had. Such. A. Good. Time!  SOOOOO much fun, laughter, stamping, cuteness, hugs, adventure, etc, etc!  The designers all designed a make and take, and I am going to start this post by sharing mine!

Colors: Petal Pink, Pool Party, Crushed Curry, Gold
Inks: Pool Party, StazOn Black
Cardstock/Papers Petal Pink, Pool Party, Gold Glimmer Paper, Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Free As A Bird
Tools: Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Acetate Card Boxes

I used the Bird Ballad suite from Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog for my make & take.  Everyone made one of these boxes. But...I wanted to showcase ALL the patterns of the FABULOUS Designer Series Papers.  So I mixed and matched and everyone used one of the combos above for their box.  So much fun, right?!  Love how they all look pretty fabulous...I couldn't decide which one was my favorite!  What do you think?!

I love the greeting on the box also.  Friendships really do mean the world to me.  I LOVE the relationships I have because of my involvement with Stampin' Up!  So I thought this was the perfect sentiment for a Stampin' Up! event.  😍

I also wanted to share some photos of the fun of the day!  First of all...here is my make and take station.  I had prepped some of the pieces already...so they just had to stamp and assemble!

(I will share all the other make & takes in another post!!!) Then the table set-up was SO fabulous!  I wish I got a better pic of the whole thing, but Mercedes made CUSTOM grid paper!  Wowsers!  Then everyone received a themed bag of one of the designers--with a coordinating button--that had prizes inside!  There was one on every spot at the tables!

I was obviously pretty excited...

And the DISPLAYS!  Oh the DISPLAYS!  These were GORGEOUS!!!

And we had amazing swaps!  Wish I grabbed pics of them all!  But my dear friend, Chelsey, was the best swap helper!  😀

And the best part of any event, is the PEOPLE!  ALL the attendees were SO! MUCH! FUN!!!!  I had a blast with each and every one of them.  I should have gotten a pic of everyone!  😁  However...check out this cute video...

Here are some pics of the team...

I even got to do this with one of my fellow Artisan's!!!!  I didn't want to let go of her!!!

I had such a good time.  And once again, so grateful for the love, joy, relationships that are in my life because of Stampin' Up!

Wrapped In Plaid in Gold for November Club Project...

Christmas is coming up quickly, and I am still in shock!  However, it is time to embrace it, & embrace it we did for this month's club!  We made a fun GOLD Pizza Box (have you noticed these in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog?!  WOWSERS!  They are gorgeous!!) with some 3x3 cards and envelopes inside!  You could easily use these cards with any treat you pass out or on any gift, and they are the perfect size as a fun tag!

Colors: Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Night of Navy, Shaded Spruce, Garden Green, Basic Black, Gold
Inks: Garden Green, Memento Black, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Whisper White Thick, Basic Black, Wrapped in Plaid 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Perfectly Plaid, Itty Bitty Christmas
Tools: Pine Tree Punch, Classic Label Punch, Stitched Shapes Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Shaded Spruce/Gold 3/8" Striped Ribbon, Star Designer Elements, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Gold Mini Pizza Box

Do you love that the negative cardstock piece from the Pine Tree Punch (from the Wrapped In Plaid Suite from the Holiday Catalog) was used for this project?!  Well I do too!  Hee.  This idea came from my friend & fellow Artisan, Kaylee van Es.  I just loved how she did that, and knew I needed to try it myself.  😍😍😍  Thank you, Kaylee!

Want to see more pictures of this project?!  Well I am happy to share!  😁  I love this fun little box, with the big green bow, & I even think the fun Copper star is a cheery accent to the gold.  You can easily use this box to hold any small gift for the season--if you want to use the cards that go inside by themselves--or give the whole box/card combo as the gift itself!

I just am loving these cards and envelopes!  They are so clean, fun, and cheery!!   I also LOVE how the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set coordinates so perfectly with this suite of products.  Just a little tip on the greetings... punch all of these greetings out with the Classic Label Punch.  Then just trim down the ends to fit the greeting.  Makes for quick & easy work!  💖

I hope you enjoy this project!  Let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help!

Peaceful Christmas for November Club Card...

Last week was my fun club night!  I love club night!  Just wanted to quickly share the club card we made this month!  I'm learning that I really prefer a little non-traditional color combo for Christmas, vs. a red/green combo.  So went totally clean and white for this card!

Colors: Whisper White, Petal Pink, Pool Party, Basic Black
Inks: Pool Party, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Whisper White Thick, Shimmery White, Basic Black, Champagne Foil Sheets
Stamps: So Many Stars
Tools: Subtle Embossing Folder, Stitched Stars Dies, Stitched Nested Labels Dies, Decorative Ribbon Border Punch, Heat Tool
Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, White Stampin' Emboss Powder

And I love it!  (If I was just making this for myself...I would have totally fussy cut that "Peace" out.  But didn't want to make my club gals do that...but feel free to try it if you make this yourself!  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the Stitched Stars Dies!!!  Look at this swirly star!  😍😍😍

Love these stamped stars also...

What kind of Christmas stamper are you?!  Is it all about the red and green?!  Or more non-traditional?  Or both?!  😁

Thanks so much for visiting!  I hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

Embossing Frenzy...TGIF Challenge 239:

It's an embossing frenzy over on the TGIF Challenge today!  Are you ready?!  Can't wait to see what you make!!!  As a designer on the team, I get to share my card to hopefully inspire you!  (No pressure!  Hee.)  So here is the card I made for this fun challenge:

Colors: Old Olive, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Basic Black, Whisper White, Gold
Inks: Petal Pink, Gray Granite, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Whisper White Thick, Shimmery White, Basic Black, Gold Foil Paper, Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock
Stamps: Broadway Birthday, Well Said
Tools: Broadway Lights Dies, Merry Christmas Dies, Mosiac Embossing Folder, Country Floral Embossing Folder, Beads & Baubles Embossing Folder, Heat Tool
Accessories: Woven Threads Sequin Assortment

What?!  TRIPLE Vellum Embossing?!  You are probably now saying..."That's just crazy town, Ashley."  Hee.  But it's true.  I embossed three strips of the FABULOUS Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock for this Dry Embossed Vellum Challenge.

And I am totally loving the mix of patterns!  And even love the soft color palette!

What do you think?!  Do you have a favorite embossing pattern of these three?!  And I do love the little touch of the stamped balloon...

Kinda loving this card.  Think I may go make some more.  What are YOU going to make for this challenge?!  Head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog to play along!!!
