I'm Dreaming Of...TGIFC - 87

It's the last TGIF Challenge before Christmas!  Wowsers!  Why... of course a fun Christmas themed challenge would be perfect for this week!  So here you go!!!!

A themed challenge using my favorite color!  Well how fun is this?!  You know you want to play along so make sure you head on over to the blog to play!  http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com

Before you go...check out the card I made in honor of the theme...

I thought it would be really fun to use the Candy Cane Christmas set for this card, and I basically copied the holiday catalog for this one.  But color combo: Melon Mambo, Basic Gray, and Blushing Bride.

And ANOTHER Christmas Tag...

Are you sick of seeing my Christmas tags and gift packaging for the year?!  :-)  I feel like I give gift cards and money a lot these days.  Do you?!  Well...I'm fine doing it if I think that is what the person really wants.  BUT...if I give it...I still want it to be cute and festive.  :-)  Here is how I packaged up some good ole' cash...

What is this box, you may be asking?  Well...I have used a lot of them this season.  They are the  Takeout Boxes that are on the clearance rack right now.  (You get SIX boxes for $2.40!!!  That's a steal!) Yes...the teacher gifts that I made and posted HERE were made using these boxes also.

The size of these boxes are perfect to add a little treat in with your gift card.  (Christmas chocolate is always fantastic. :-) )  For these...however...I used the Fringe Scissors to cut myself some paper shred, and just added that to my rolled up cash.  :-)

Kinda fun, right?!  Loving the simplicity of this tag also.  Here's another view...

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com.

It's All About the Packaging...

In case you didn't hear, it's almost Christmas!  :-)  Still looking for something to give someone?  Or maybe someone is still looking for something to give you?!  How about Stampin' Up! stuff?!  There is a gift for everyone!  Kits, Stamps, Inks, Papers, Tools, Gift Cards, Etc....so much fun!  I love to make packages cute too.  I had someone contact me about a gift for someone...so I helped them out!  We got some cute products ordered and as a bonus....I wrapped it for free!  And since I wanted them to feel spoiled when they open it....I spoiled them with the wrapping.  Check out this fun packaging...

I just used a Kraft box and fancied it up!  With some fun ribbon (retired), tag, and those stars!  Oh my!  Yes...I punched out a whole lot of stars--using the Confetti Stars Punch--from Gold Glimmer paper.  Then glued those little stinkers on ALL sides of the box!  Took a little time, but again...it's all about spoiling the special recipient.

Colors: Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock/Papers: Basic Black, Gold Glimmer Paper, This Christmas Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Banner for Christmas
ToolsBig Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Bunch of Banners Framelits, Triple Banner Punch, 1/16" Hole Punch, Confettis Stars Punch, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold 1/8" Ribbon, Cherry Cobbler Striped Ribbon (retired), Whisper White embossing powder

Doesn't that add so much fun to the box?!  I need to do this again because I LOVE how it turned out!

The tag was fun too...

...but I really think the stars are the "star" of the show!  ;-)  Hee.  Hope you enjoy!  There is still time to order something for Christmas, so let me know what you need!  I will even wrap it pretty for you...FOR FREE!

Jolly, Merry, Peace Wreath...

You know those projects you see and they inspire you to immediately make them?!  Well...I saw something on Kimberly Van Diepen's blog (one of Stampin' Up!'s Artisan team members)...and I just HAD to make it.  It was a wreath ornament made from a Mason Jar lid!!!  How fun is that?  Here are the ones I made...

Aren't they so much fun!  I just love them.  This one is the one most similar to the one she made...

This one uses Kraft Rope Trim, Christmas Greeting Thinlits, Holly Berry Builder punch, and Very Vanilla Lace Trim.

I personally love this one so much...

Kinda festive and fun.  I LOVE the Red Glimmer Paper Santa hat.  It's made with Red Glimmer Paper and the Jolly Hat Builder Punch...that is ON SALE right now! Whoooo!  Look how cute it is!  The rest of this wreath is made with Christmas Greetings Thinlits, Gold Foil Paper, Ribbon Silky Taffeta Combo Pack (Emerald Envy), and Gold 1/4" Natural Trim.

Then one last "peaceful" wreath ornament...

Super Christmas-y and fun, right?  This one uses Silver Glimmer Paper, Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper, Star Punch, Silver 1/4" Natural Trim, and Christmas Greeting Thinlits. I think it turned out quite festive as well.

I happened to make some of these for some gifts.  And here is how I quickly wrapped them...

Used the Warmth & Cheer Designer Series Paper as a little insert in the Guesseted bags.  So easy and quick!

So which one is your fave?  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

Merry Chocolate...December Club Project...

Just a quick share tonight...we made this fun treat at club last week...

Who doesn't need a little chocolate candy around the holidays?  :-) I wanted to share a quick and fun treat that could easily be made during the holidays, and I think this fits the bill.

Jolly Santa...December Club Card...

It was club week this week!  Yay!  Want to see the card we made?!  Well...here you go...

I love this jolly little Santa.  He's from the "Jolly Friends" stamp set.  Such. A. Fun. One!!!  And I love that Cable Knit Embossing folder!

ColorsWhisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Gold
Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White Thick, Whisper White, Gold Glimmer Paper, Basic Black, Real Red, This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Jolly Friends, Candy Cane Christmas
ToolsBig Shot, Christmas Greetings Thinlits, Jolly Hat Builder Punch, Cable Knit Embossing Folder, Mini Stapler, Clear Wink of Stella Glimmer Brush, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Sequin Trim, White Embossing Powder, Mica Flakes

This was a quick and fun card to make, yet lots of fun elements. Look at the fun Mica Flakes on this hat.  I just adhered the pieces of the hat together, added a little green lid Tombow glue, then "dip" the hat in the bag the flakes come in.  Such a fun and easy way to add a little glitz and glamour.

I hope you enjoy!  Let me know if you have any questions on anything!  designwithink@gmail.com
