Welcome to the UStamp with Dawn and Friends!! 3rd Anniversary Celebration Edition 2012 World Showcase Blog Hop.

There are SO MANY fun and exciting products coming out in the new catalog!  (Staring JUNE 1st!!!)  I always LOVE to see all the new Designer Series Paper!  I decided to make a 12x12 double spread scrapbook layout using some of the new Designer Series Paper called Floral District.

I know it's hard to see (cause it's hard to photograph a 12"x12" double spread layout) so here are some more pics.  Page One up first...

Have to say...love that pleated ribbon on the side!  This is a NEW stamp set called "Betsy's Blossoms" and I just LOVE it!  (And I LOVE the name...my BFF's name is Betsy!  :) )  I think I used every image in the stamp set on this layout.  They all just work so well together! Here are some close-up pictures...

Love how many different patterns of the Designer Series Paper are used in this layout because it's a FABULOUS pack of paper! It's called Floral District.

On to Page Two...

Aren't my girls just SO PRECIOUS?!  :)  More Designer Series Paper, more pleated ribbon, more fun stamped images...what can get better?!  :)  Here are some close-up's...

That's a Top Note Die cut out that I used for my journaling space.  And don't you just LOVE those stamped images?!  And that Glimmer Brad in the middle of the flower!  :)  "These are a few of my favorite things!"

As a Special Thank You for stopping by my blog I am giving away BLOG CANDY!!

It's the Weekend...Eat Cake!

Sorry I haven't posted this week.  I definitely HAVE been stamping this week!  But...stamping stuff I can't show just yet.  :)  Sorry!  And we are getting ready to go on a family vacation to the Caribbean next week...so SUPER busy!  (Why are there always SO MANY things going on right before you leave?!  We actually leave tomorrow way early in the morning...so wish me luck! :) )  So....I will be quiet next week as well. (I may have a surprise post or two. :) )  But then I will be back the next week excited to share new things with you!  (It will be the last week to order out of the current catalog and then June 1st the NEW CATALOG STARTS!!!  If you need a copy of the new catalog...let me know and I can get one sent to you!)

Something FUN will be happening while I am gone though.  What is that?! you might ask.  Well....I will tell you...I am participating in my FIRST EVER Blog Hop!!!  Whoooo hoooo!  What fun, right?!  :)

I know I am excited!  It will be great fun.  The designers are all wonderful and all you have to do is click through the links to see the amazing projects!  There will also be PDF instructions available for the projects you will be seeing on the Blog Hop!!!  And they will all be FREE!!!!  What fun!!!  So I hope you will stop by for that.  It's May 23rd-25th.

On to today's post!  It's another 12x12 layout titled "Eat Cake". While we are gone we will be celebrating my daughter's 6th birthday and my anniversary!!! So thought an "Eat Cake" post would be appropriate.  :)  Here is the double page layout...
How fun is this one?!  Can you spot the items that are retiring?!  How about those ALPHABET dies?!!??!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE both of these!  These are the Timeless Type alphabet and Serif Essentials (the big letters).  And this paper is retiring as well.  :(  This is a fun pack...called Just Add Cake.  The colors I used for the page are all the coordinating colors for the paper.  Here is Page One...
And a close-up...
Those letters are embossed with the Polka Dot embossing folder so they really pop.  I LOVE that Tasteful Trim die ric rac on the side!  What fun...right?!  :)  Here is Page Two...
And some close-up's...

Love the glitter on the cupcake?!  And that pleated ribbon down the side?!  Hope you enjoy those details!

I copied this layout from a group blog that you have access to when you become a demo on my team!  It's filled with ideas!  My friend that made this layout originally made this as a baby page...and with some changes it's now my "Eat Cake" page.  Love how easy it is to change things up and make it our own!

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!

May Club Project...

Need to share the other club project for the month!  We made a 3x3 card holder...

From the top it looks like this...
It opens up and you see this...

If you pull out the 3x3 cards and envelopes you see this...
I really love this project and it uses a technique I haven't done in awhile..."Poppin' Pastels."  This was SO much fun!  All the images were stamped in VersaMark ink and then you use sponge daubers to just dab the color where you want it!  It's a great way to do multi colored images.  Sad news though...the pastels are on the retiring accessories list!  Get them before they are gone!

Also...here's another little tip for you.  I sponged all the edges of these cards.  Here is what my sponges look like...
HOW FUN is this?!!  I use the Round Tab punch (It's RETIRING!!! EEEEEKKKKK!!!  Get this one before it's gone!  It's a MUST HAVE for any paper crafter!!!) to punch out a round tab in the cardstock color of the ink the sponge will be dabbed on.  Then I take a sponge...cut it into 8 wedges...and staple the round tab onto the sponge.  That what I always know what color of ink the sponge is!  LOVE this tip!  I saw it at a Regional Stampin' Up! event a few years back.  A-MA-ZING if I do say so myself!  :)

Hope you enjoy this project and tip!  Thanks for visiting!

May Club Card...

Here is the club card for the month!  I LOVE the "Fifth Avenue Floral" stamp set...and sad to see it go.  So had to say goodbye by highlighting it for club.  Here is the card...
And of course you need a close-up of the fun glitter...
And then a close-up of the sentiment...
LOVE this color combo!  (Early Espresso, Crumb cake, Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, and Lucky Limeade)  Love these 3"x6" cards.

Hope you enjoy and thanks for visiting!

Show Some Love...

Who doesn't want to scrapbook the things they love in life?!  I am sure you all do, so here is some inspiration to help you...

I really like how these pages turned out.  Here is page 1...
I love the "Awash With Flowers" stamp set and love what it adds to the layout.  Here are some close-up's...

How fun is that alphabet?!  Here is Page 2...
I love all the coordination of Stampin' Up! products.  Between the Designer Series Papers, Cardstocks, Ink, Ribbons, Accessories, etc...it's so easy to get crafting projects done!  :)

Here is a close-up...
Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!

Yum! Yum!

Ready for another 12x12 Scrapbook layout?!  Another double spread layout?!  I hope so because you get one! :)  Here is a fun and bright cheery layout...

I love this one!  I made this one awhile ago...but kinda forgot to post it.  :)  it's using the "Sweets for the Sweets" stamp set.  Here are some pictures so you can see things better.  First up is the first page of the layout...

And close-up of a focal point...
I LOVE ruffling ribbon like this.  This time I used the Daffodil Delight taffeta.   It's pretty YUM! itself!  :)

The second page of the layout...
And some close-up's...

On both pages the Whisper White cardstock was stamped with a bunch of images from the stamp set.  Any Designer Series Paper you see is from the Big Top Birthday paper pack.  (I think that's the name. :) )

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks for visiting!!!

Who Needs MORE Post-It's?!...

Last week I posted a Post-It notebook.  Today I have some other samples to show.

This first one is done with the Bordering Romance stamp set.  This was in the Occasions Mini that expired the end of April...but you can still purchase it!  It is one of the items on the CARRYOVER LIST.  Love the colors and everything about this one...
These next two are using the products we could pre-order last month.  They will be available in the new catalog starting JUNE 1st!!!!  ...

LOVE LOVE the papers, stamp set, everything!!!!

This next one is using the cupcake stamp from the "Easy Events" stamp set.  The Designer Series Paper is from the "Just Add Cake" pack.  LOVE this paper!  This one is retiring so get it before it's gone!!!!

I hope you enjoy these Post-It's!  Thanks for visiting!  I hope you enjoy!!!!

Stampin' Up! Decor and Other Info...

Since the Decor Elements line is retiring (BOO!!! HOO!!!!  So sad about this!!!) I wanted to share a few more designs of the decor accent piece I shared a few days go.  Click HERE to see the original one I posted.

If you want to check out the retiring Decor Elements, click HERE

On to the project.  Here is another decor piece I did...
I made them all the same-ish.  Just switched out Designer Papers, colors, etc.  This paper is retired but I LOVE the color combo of it.  And all of them use the same buttons...just from different packs. They are retired, but on the Clearance Rack and I REALLY recommend buying some.  They are SO CHEAP and I use them ALL the time!  :)  (To order them just go to my website... http://www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net and then click Shop Now in the upper right corner and then Clearance Rack on the left side of the page.  Easy, peasy!  Then order away!  I recommend the Decor Elements I used on these projects as well!  It's called "Inspiration" and this is the small size.  Just $4.95 for FOUR different words!  So economical to make this project!

Here are a few more for some inspiration...

I wanted to do a bunch of different color combo's.  So I used different papers.  Some are retired.  The green and black one is actually from the Summer Smooches pack that was a pre-order from last month.  You will be able to order that paper again in June!  :)  BUT...the striped ribbon (ANOTHER FAVE THING!!!  AHHHH!!) is RETIRING!!!  Another BOOOO HOOOO!!!  I use this stuff a TON!  So get it while it's gone!!!!

All the flowers are done with the Blossom Punch.  I embossed them with the Polka Dot embossing folder to really make them pop.  This punch is actually still available to order.  It's on the "Carryover List" from the Mini that just retired.  (The Carryover List is just what it sounds like...items that are carried over after the mini is done.  Doesn't mean they will be in the new catalog coming out in June...but they are available now.)  CLICK HERE to see that list to see what else you can order!

I hope you enjoy these projects!  Email me... designwithink@gmail.com if you have any questions or want to order anything!  Thanks for visiting!

Clear Notebooks Galore...

Last week I posted a notebook made from the Clear Mount stamp set cases I made.  Today I have some more to share!  Click HERE to see the last post and see what the inside looks like.  Here are some more notebook ideas for when you want to make your own...

All the notebooks have the same layout...just different stamps and Designer Series Papers and accessories.  These are using retired paper.  The stamps are from Raining Flowers stamp set and the sentiment is from one of the stamps sets that coordinates with the Simply Sent Card Kits...just can't remember the name of it.  The Stampin' Up! Logo is from the cello bag it is in...it isn't on the actual notebook.

Here are a few more...

These are using the Sale-A-Bration paper from last  year.  LOVE this fun and bright paper so decided to use these for some.  The stamps are from the "Sweets for the Sweet" stamp set (that's the right name...right?!) and the "Fabulous Phrases" set.

A few more...

I love these because I LOVE this paper.  It's retired as well...from the Summer Picnic pack.  I LOVE this stuff and bought a ton of it before it retired.  So now I get to make lots of cute projects with it still.  :)

Even MORE notebooks...

These are made with the Sweet Shoppe paper from the mini that just ended yesterday.  Hope you got this paper because it's FUN!

And one last one...
This one is super fun and made with that amazing "Cheerful Treat" hostess paper that is just available WHILE SUPPLIES LAST!  Then the fun Island Floral Die was used for the flower focal point.  Then the glittered letters are from the Timeless Type dies.  Both of these are retiring as well...so get them while you can!

Hope you enjoyed seeing all these notebooks!  Thanks for visiting!

February Fancy Blue!

Time for this month's Stampin' Fancy Friday challenge! And this one is a GOOD one!  Are you ready for SOMETHING BLUE?!  Colors :   C...
