Sweet Sugarplum Scrapbooking...

Sharing a quick and easy 12x12 scrapbook layout today...with the NEW In Color, Sweet Sugarplum, as the star!

I discovered something fun with this layout.  I wanted some splatter, but a more controlled splatter.  So....I just used the Gold Wink of Stella and colored over the small splatter stamp from "Gorgeous Grunge".  Then stamped it on my project!  So fun...right?!

The "Egg-cellent" image is a Project Life card--which made this page go together super quick!

And seriously...I have pretty cute kids, wouldn't you agree?!  :-)

From "Girly" To "Manly"?!

I needed a quick card tonight for a guy that just graduated.  I had like 5 minutes to make a card.  So--what is a girl to do?  I grabbed a card I really liked that had some frills and "girly" fun (not that guys couldn't like this card too!!!)...

and just CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) myself.  :-)  Hee.  BUT...without the more frilly elements.  Want to see what I made?!?!  Well here you go!!!

What do you think?  Is it "manly" enough?  I think it turned out kinda fun although it was torture to not put a bow on here somewhere.  :-)

It was all about the layering with this cards!  I did use a few retired things (the Designer Paper is from the "It's My Party" paper stack.  I hope you stocked up on this because it was fantastic!, the Wooden Elements word, and the Starburt dies) but you could easily use current Stampin' Up! stuff to make a similar card!  Maybe I will CASE myself again...and make this card again!

Hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com.

I added the flower to some Pool Party Designer Series Paper and then a burlap canvas.  The just added some more texture with some Baker's Twine and rhinestones.  It was so quick and easy to do!

Memory Keeping With Emerald Envy...

I've been a little silent around here...I have been involved in a bit of a house project.  We are having most of our house repainted, and it's still a lot of work--even if someone else is doing the painting!  But...it has been all about color around here these days.  Which color to choose, painting samples on walls, etc.  Soooo...thought it was time to share another In Color project...I have some more Emerald Envy for you!  Once again I used Melon Mambo with this color.  Cause it just makes my heart so happy.  :-)

This is my cute family--my hubby and I and our 3 girls.  We were at my brother-in-law's wedding...so we were all dressed up.  Perfect time for some photos and perfect reason to scrapbook!  :-)

(Just noticed...totally have a "typo" on my page!  Ahhhhh!  I put the year as 2016.  Hello...it was 2015--August of '16 hasn't even happened yet!  Yikes!  Better go change that!)

Color Combo:  Emerald Envy, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry, Whisper White
Stamps: Crazy About You
Tools: Hello You Thinlits, Triple Banner Punch, Botanical Builders Framelits, 1/2" Circle Punch, Handheld Stapler
Accessories: 2016-2018 In Color Designer Series Paper Stack, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Staples, Basic Rhinestones, Metallic Foil Doilies (flipped over for the white side)

LOVE the Botanical Builder Framelits.  SO much fun to use and I've used them A. LOT!!!

Hope you enjoy this page!  Give this color combo a try...it will make your heart happy! :-)  Let me know if you have any questions: designwithink@gmail.com

It's A Pool Party With Swirly Bird...

So maybe it's because I am in the process of having my whole house painted...with the main color being a light blue...but I LOVE Pool Party these days.  So light and refreshing and bright and cheery and I could go on.  :-)  Well--pair that with a little Flirty Flamingo (Swoon!) and the new Swirly Bird bundle and you have yourself a fun card...

This was a quick and simple card to make (and so frustrated that I didn't straighten that bow out when I took the picture!), but still looks fun and fresh.  Use the Swirly Bird Bundle with the Thoughtful Banners Bundle.  And I LOVE the Watercolor Wash Background stamp.  So. Much. Fun to use!!!

Just a quick post tonight, but hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

Some New Catalog Love...

I wanted to do something fun for my club members to celebrate the new catalog, so they got this...

And this...

The first is a fun little "wish list" notebook with a coordinating pen (and post-it's to mark up their catalog)...

I used the Affectionately Yours Suite in the new Stampin' Up! catalog.  So pretty, fresh, and fun!!!  Here are some more pictures...

I even added just a small detail to the inside...

Why not use as much of that pretty paper as you can?!  :-)

Look at some of them all lined up...

I love these pens.  You just roll a small piece of Designer Series Paper (I believe it was 3/4" x 3") around the ink part of the pen that is on the inside and stick it all back in the pen barrel.  So easy and exciting to have it all coordinate!  (The pens are Pentel RSVP Ballpoint Pens.)

Then I just wanted them to be able to see the In Colors quickly and easily (cause they are gorgeous!) so I made them a bookmark to keep their spot in their catalog.  :-)

Hope you enjoy these projects!  (***Note:  the notebooks are just the Jr. Legal Pad that I cut in half with a big paper cutter.  You could always have an office supply cut them for you also.)

Catalog Inspiration...Turned Club Project!

The club project we made this month, I got right out of the catalog!  I lost my stamping mojo right before my club night and needed some inspiration for a project for us to do.  Soooo--off to my catalog!  Stampin' Up! has fabulous artist's that make all the amazing projects in the catalog--so why not take advantage of that resource!

Here is the sample from the catalog...

So cute...right?!  Here is what we made...

We used the new Thoughtful Banners bundle (LOVE that banner punch!) and the Floral Affection Embossing Folder.  Loving this color combo!  Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo, Mint Macaron, and Whisper White.

Here is a better picture of the details...

Love these Petite Cafe Gift Bags.  They are food safe, so would be fun to whip up some of these and have them on hand to pass out fun treats to your friends!

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com.

Dapper Swirly Bird...

It was my club week this week!  I have to admit--I was a bit overwhelmed at just what to use for my club projects this month!  There are SO MANY products that I just can't wait to show my clubbers!  I had to rely on major inspiration that I could find elsewhere to help me focus.  :-)  I found a card done by one of Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Team Designers, Valerie Moody, and LOVED it!  It was perfect for a fun Father's Day card or just any occasion.  So this is the card we made:

Isn't it fun!  I changed very few things from her original card.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Swirly Bird Bundle.  When you first look at the stamp set, it may seem underwhelming.  There are lots of pieces.  Here's a look at the bundle...

But from these pieces...you can make SO MUCH!  Bird's nest, boats, kite (those weird almost bow tie looking pieces make a kite), etc, etc.  And those coordinate dies...SWOON!!!  Love those swirls!

Anyway...here are a few more details to the cards...

Aren't these "waves" just the most fun?!  You can use these for vines too!  All sorts of things!  I will be sharing a lot more with this bundle!  It's fantastic!

And here is a fun tip.  See this sun...

See how there is a softer color around the darker swirl?!  This is done using the same stamp!  This is a photopolymer stamp...so....mount the stamp on your clear block backwards!  (with the image that you would normally stamp facing the clear block.)  Then ink up that circle in Daffodil Delight, stamp off onto scratch paper, and then stamp on your project.  Then clean the stamp quick, re-mount the stamp the "correct" way, ink up in Daffodil Delight, and stamp again!  So much fun!  I LOVE doing this little technique.

And can we talk a bit about the new In Colors?!  This card uses 2 of them--Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy.  SWOON!  Look at this fun In Color board I had displayed for my club members...

Don't those colors look fun?!

Anyway...hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com.

Peekaboo Box...

It's been a little while since I've posted!  Sorry!  Have plenty to share...so let's get started!  This is a fun box I made for the Display Boards back in April.  That feels like so long ago!  The box is made with the Envelope Punch Board...

Loving these colors together.  It's just Night of Navy, Peekaboo Peach (NEW In Color!), with a splash of Bermuda Bay.  SUCH a fun fresh color combo!

Then you just take the belly band off (so don't have to ruin anything to open it!) and the box opens up like this...

So fun, right?!  You could put all sorts of treats/small gifts/gift cards/etc in this box.  If you are just using your Envelope Punch Board to make envelopes...bust that tool out and put it to work making boxes!  :-)  It's a blast!  This one is just about 1" deep, but you could make them whatever size you want...

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com.

Dapper Banner...

I just posted this project in my last post a few minutes ago, but I wanted to give you a better view at one of the projects.  This was a project I had made for the Display Boards at the last Stampin' Up! event, and have to be honest...I kinda loved it.  :-)  If you've followed me at all...you know I LOVE Banners!  Oh man...think they are so festive and fun!  So....here is a banner I made using the NEW Dapper Denim!!!  (LOVE this navy!  It's so gorgeous...very similar to Not Quite Navy, if you remember that, that I completely have missed!!!)

It's such an easy banner to make...kept the layout simple so you could make one yourself quick!  It uses the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies for the flowers.  I have used these dies even way more than I thought.  I. Love. Them!!!

Here are the banner's up-closer...

(Love cutting up sentiments like this, in case you couldn't tell.  :-) )

I did the first and the last banner like this...so this one looks familiar, I'm sure.  :-)

I hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks for visiting and let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

Stampin' Up! Knows How to Throw A Party!!!

I LOVE going to Stampin' Up! events.  It is honestly one of the reasons I stay a demonstrator.  I LOVE them even more when I get to help...even in such a small roll.  SOOOOO...it's that time again!  I'm applying to be an Event Display Stamper at the next Stampin' Up! event...so you get to see a bunch of projects in one post!  So much fun, right?!  You've seen most of these projects before, so here's a fun reminder.  :-)

First up are three cards I want to share...

Loving that gold glitter splatter on that card!

Next up is just a fun and simple layout that I love to use...

Love this color combo!  Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, and Smoky Slate!  So fun and colorful.

And finally...

I just love this Flirty Flamingo card!!

Now do you want to see some 3D items?!  Here you go! ...

First is a fun banner made with the NEW Dapper Denim color.  It's paired with Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight.  LOVE this color combo!!!

So bright and cheery!!!

And everyone needs packaging for gift, right?!  Well how about you just make your own gift bag?!  And speaking of pairing with Melon Mambo...I LOVE the NEW Emerald Envy with Melon Mambo!!! ...

I made this with the Gift Bag Punch Board...Just left it open at top (and didn't make the score lines on the side) and added handles.  Fun for any small gift!...

And lastly...how about a scrapbook page?!

Love this title...

I hope you enjoyed seeing these projects!  :-)  Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions on anything... designwithink@gmail.com.

It's TIME!!!! The New Catalog Has Arrived!!!

WHOOOOO!  Here we go....it's a NEW CATALOG TIME!!! If you don't have one...please let me know and I can get one free!  (Just would ask that you pay for shipping.)

Trust me...it's an amazing catalog....

My FAVE Suite is the Pop of Pink Suite!!!  AHHHHH!  Melon Mambo is the best color...and part of my stamp room is actually painted that color.  So I SQUEALED when I saw this!!

Anyway...a quick card I'm showing today is for my #acardadayinMay challenge I have been doing.  Have to be honest...don't love this card.  But...still has some fun elements and it's been a crazy busy day...so it is what it is.  Promise you will be seeing LOTS MORE of this suite.  :-)

Pineapples are SO TRENDY these days and before I even knew that...I was SO EXCITED to see this stamp!  A big fat pineapple...yes, please!  I just embossed it in gold and bam!  Fun focal point for the card.  And paired with the Thoughtful Banners Bundle (fun stamp set with coordinating punch!) for the greeting...so fun!

There is thick Melon Mambo Baker's Twine in this catalog.  Swoon!  I pulled out a few strands from the thread and just looped it around behind the pineapple.  But just look at this fun gold embossed pineapple...

Hope you enjoy!  Let me know if you have any questions or need a new catalog!  Thanks for visiting! designwithink@gmail.com.
