Easy Does It With Let It Snow...

I love a quick and easy card layout!  And using Designer Series Paper that does all the work for you doesn't get much easier!  That's what I love about this card...

Colors: Real Red, Pool Party, Whisper White, Basic Black
Inks: VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Real Red, Basic Black, Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Snowman Season
Tools: Winter Knit 3D Embossing Folder, Stitched Nested Labels Dies

The Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper is the star of the show on this card!  One of the patterns has those fabulous glittery snowmen...

And the other has a fun stripe that makes for a cute background to "frame" the snowmen.  I just added a greeting, some Baker's Twine, and the Snowflake Sequins for a little detail.  Easy peasy!

It is October Blog Hop Time with Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team!!!!

YAY!!!  It is time to hop around the globe and visit all sorts of fun projects!  And it's HOLIDAY time!  We are focusing on different suites from Stampin' Up!'s 2019 Holiday Catalog!   If you are just getting started...WELCOME!  You are in for a treat!  If you just came from Angela's Blog...well I'm certain you are inspired already!  πŸ˜ƒ

I am pretty excited to share my projects today.  I kinda love them!  They both focus heavily on watercoloring...one of my most very favorite techniques.  But both of these watercolored cards also feature heat embossing!  Another love of mine!  So here goes nothing!! Ready for some watercoloring?!  And ready for some fall leaves with the Gather Together Bundle?!

I love these little beauties!  What do you think?!  They have made my heart smile every time I have looked at them!  But I want to show you them a little closer!

This card was a blast to make!  I started with a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  Then I just embossed some leaves with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I colored them in using ink and an Aqua Painter, and then colored the background in Pool Party.  I added some splatter with the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink.

How pretty is that?!  Right?!?!?  I LOVE this color combo!  (And it is the same for both cards I am sharing...Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight,  Granny Apple Green, and Gold.)

On to this next fun card where I added some watercoloring a little differently...

For this one I started out by coloring strips of watercolor paper...

Easy peasy, right?!  Just add some color!  Then you just adhere them down to cardstock that is cut to size of how you want it.  (Strips will be longer than the cardstock.)

Then just trim it down, emboss some leaves on there, add some splatter, and Viola!

Easy peasy!  Then to finish it off, I just colored some of the Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon with the Calpyso Coral Light Marker, and added it to the panel.  😍😍😍

Finish the card and then just sit back and stare.  It's ok!  It's worth it!  Hee.

I hope you enjoy these projects!  I can't wait for you to see the rest!  So keep hopping head and go find Aurelie's blog next!  You will be glad you did!

Gather Together With Gold Pizza Box...

I have had quite a bit of fun playing with the "Come to Gather" Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog.  It's a fun mix of products!  And when you combine it with the Gold Mini Pizza Box from the Wrapped In Plaid Suite...I may love it all even more.  😁

Colors: Calypso Coral, Soft Sea Foam, Pretty Peacock, Gold
Inks: Calypso Coral, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Calypso Coral, Basic Black, Soft Sea Foam, Gold Foil, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Gathered Leaves Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Mini Pizza Boxes, Come to Gather Ribbon Combo Pack, Tag & Feathers Elements

I only adhered the Designer Series Paper to the box.  The rest is just a belly band that goes around the box.  So you can easily remove the pretty decor, and the recipient can get into their box without ruining it!   Love when it works out like that!  πŸ˜€

I love all the elements to this...the Designer Paper, the dies, the stamps, those wooden elements...it all makes my heart happy!

I hope you enjoy also!  Thank you so much for visiting!

Gather Together Meets All-Around Wreaths! Club Project!

I shared the club card I made the other day, so now do you want to see the project we made?!  Well yay!  Because I'm excited to share it with you!

Colors: Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry
Inks: Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake
Cardstock/Papers Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry, Shimmery White, Crumb Cake, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Gathered Leaves Dies, Subtle Embossing Folder, Timeless Label Punch, Aqua Painter
Accessories: Nature's Twine, Mint Macaron 1/4" Textile Ribbon, Acetate Card Boxes

So I LOVE the Acetate Card Boxes in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog.  They are so much fun to hold a set of cards, gifts, treats, etc.  And I am LOVING this fall wreath!  I didn't even think of using the fabulous All Around Wreath Dies for a fall wreath until I saw one done by the talented Melody Hyde.  So shout out to her for this idea!

For this wreath, I stamped some Crushed Curry cardstock with the Buffalo Check stamp set--in Crushed Curry ink.  Then cut out two wreaths.  I love the texture that the Buffalo Check adds!

And this color combo is pretty fabulous also.  Crushed Curry, Pretty Peacock, and Mint Macaron?!  Who would have thought it would look so great together!  πŸ˜€

Hope you enjoy this fun card/treat/gift box!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Gather Together For October Club Card...

Club project time!  My monthly club group was this month!  Woot!  I love this event.  It is a blast every time and I'm lucky with the people that I get to spend time with at these events!  Want to see the card we made?!  Well...ok then!!!  Here you go!

Colors: Pool Party, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Whisper White
Inks: Gray Granite, Soft Sea Foam, Versamark,
BLENDS MARKER: Dark Petal Pink
Cardstock/Papers Pool Party, Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Basic Black, Gold Foil Sheet, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Gathered Leaves Dies, Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

We had to do fall, but I used more of a subtle fall color combo, than your more traditional fall colors.  I kinda like how it turned out!

Love this Come to Gather Suite.  It has fun sayings, images, and background splatter!  Yay!  And YES!  I colored that ribbon AGAIN with Blends.  This is the Dark Petal Pink Stampin Blends Marker.  And I LOVE doing that!!!  πŸ˜€

That fun gold leaf is a die...you run it through one time and it embosses AND cuts it out!  Quick, easy, and dynamic!!  LOVE IT!!!  Also....did you notice that the embossing folder I used is actually in the Monster Bash Halloween suite?!  I LOVE this folder because it can be spooky or classy!  Works for anything!

I hope you enjoy this card!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Thanks for visiting!

Jolly Gleaming Ornament...

I know, it's hard to admit, but Christmas is right around the corner!  Crazy!  Still have lots of Halloween fun to prep for, but wanted to share a quick but dynamic Christmas card!

Inks: StazOn Jet Black, Pretty Peacock
Cardstock/Papers Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Pretty Peacock, Old Olive, Night of Navy, Brightly Gleaming Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Christmas Gleaming
Tools: Gleaming Ornaments Punch Pack, 2" Circle Punch, Stitched Rectangle Dies

This is a simple card...that Bright Gleaming Designer Series Paper is GORGEOUS!!!!...but packs a punch with this fun 3D ornament....

All I did was stamp and punch out 5 of them, fold them in half, and then glue them all together and onto the card!  So easy but so much fun!

Also...love these Star Designer Elements.  This whole suite is so gorgeous!!!

Hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Are you making Christmas cards yet?!

Stampin' Blends Party!!! Color It All!!!

So....have to admit...I'm just a little bit excited.  I have a fun post up on Stampin' Up!'s Facebook page!!!!  AHHHHHHHH!!!  This Artisan year of mine has been a dream.  I still am pinching myself!  Feel free to check the post out HERE!   And...I'm also going to share it all right here in this post!!!

If you couldn't tell from the title of this post...today is ALL about the Stampin' Blends Markers!!!

Have you colored with them yet? I hope so! If you have, then you probably agree with me when I talk about how magical they are! They color like a dream—with no streak marks, beautiful vibrant shades of color, and they’re so easy to use! But did you know that you can do SO MUCH MORE with them than just color your stamped images? They are alcohol-based markers, so the possibilities are endless! Today I’m going to share you just a few of my favorite ways to use them!
I’ll start by showing you how beautiful they are to color with. The Seaside Notions Stamp Set (item 149278) is perfect to use with Blends and is one of my favorite stamp sets anyway! Win-win! Also, I have to note that the Smooth Sailing Dies (item 149576) and the Under the Sea Dies (item 146334) work great with this stamp set, as well! The Blends colors I used here are: Flirty Flamingo Light & Dark (item 147278); Bermuda Bay Light & Dark (item 144600); Petal Pink Light & Dark (item 147272); Lovely Lipstick Light & Dark (item 147281); and Mango Melody Light & Dark (item 147945). I just love how much depth the stamped images have after they are colored.

I LOVE this watercolor wash background.  Perfect for the scene these stamped images create also!

Now let’s talk about what else you can do! Did you know you can color your embellishments with Stampin’ Blends? Yay! Epoxy droplets, rhinestones, pearls, etc. in any color! Here I colored some Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (item 147801) to make some bubbles for my tag.

They are so easy to color!

And then look at how that fun detail turns out...

Of course I love it...but what do you think?  It’s all about the details, and I love that fun little detail!

Last, let me show you my FAVORITE thing to do with Stampin’ Blends. Did you know you can COLOR RIBBON with them? Yes! You really can! My favorite ribbon to color is the 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon . . . it comes in both Silver (item 144213) and Gold (item 144146) so you always can have the perfect finishing touch for your projects. I used the gold ribbon for this Mini Pizza Box (item 144645).

I LOVE the result...

So what do you think? Does this make you want to get those Stampin’ Blends Markers out and get playing? I hope these fun tips help you start exploring them more! This is just the beginning of what you can do with them!

Christmastime Is Here Artisan Design Team Blog Hop!

Well do I have a fun surprise for you!!!

CHRISTMAS IS COMING EARLY THIS YEAR!!!  We hope you’re ready to make this holiday season magical, because the Christmastime Is Here Suite is, well . . . here! This exclusive, limited-time collection of festive, floral coordinating products has everything you and your customers need to share love, joy, and creativity this holiday season.

There is SO MUCH FUN included in this suite!!!  And the Artisan Design Team is SOOOOO excited to start showing you how much fun it is!  With a blog hop!  Ready to hop along with us today?!  If you just came from Angela's blog...then you already saw her beautiful projects! Aren't you in love?!

Now I get to share mine!

As you can see...this exclusive, limited-time collection is FULL of festive, floral coordinating products!  It has everything you need to share LOVE, JOY, & CREATIVITY this holiday season!

This is currently available to Stampin' Up! demonstrators as a pre-order (until October 31t)  Then it will be available to customers starting November 1st!  If you want it NOW and you are not a demonstrator...talk to me about becoming one so you can get your hands on it now!  😁

I am going to show you a few fun different things you can do with them.  First up is the standard sized card.

I used one of the die-cuts as a template for some stenciling.  😍  Just check out that gold background...

And it's so easy!  I first just cut out a template from some scrap cardstock.  Then I laid the die (with the rest of the cardstock to protect my project from getting ink where I didn't want it) onto the cardstock and sponged some of the Golden Glitz ink onto it.

Then just keep moving your stencil" down your project until you are done!

I kinda love that subtle/shimmery texture it adds to the whole card.

(Love those Gold Glitter Enamel Dots that are available in this suite also.  😍😍😍 )

This card opens kinda fun, also.  I cut off a little bit on the side, so you get a peek of the designer paper from the suite on the side...

I added that scallop edge for a little pop of color, adhered it to the inside, then just added another panel of cardstock to cover up where it is adhered.

And FUN TIP!!!  This HUGE floral image is CUT OUT FROM THE DESIGNER PAPER!  Using a coordinating DIE!!!!!

Ummmmm....YES!  PLEASE!!!!  Swoon!  Look at those gold foil touches!

Now do you want to see the fun gift box?!  Here is a reminder of what it looks like...

This time, I did a little something different.  I actually stamped the big floral image and embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder.  And then I just colored the whole thing in.  It was SOOOOO much fun to color.  I watercolored most of it, and then used my Real Red Blends Marker to color in the berries.

Add a few other elements and I think you have a pretty fabulous gift box for Christmas! Or even use other colors, change the greeting, and it would be a fabulous box for any other time of year!  Love all the little fun elements...

Finally...I made a fun little 4" x 4" card that I am going to use as a tag on a present this year.

That lattice die-cut is probably my favorite.  As you can see, lots you can do with it.  This time I just used it as a background, added a few other fun elements, and VOILA!  An easy card to make!

I love how a white greeting pops on that black background.  And that fun little rose (cut out from Designer Series Paper) adds such a fun touch.  And I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Gold Shimmer Ribbon!

I hope you enjoy these projects!  Are you as in love with the Christmastime Is Here Suite as I am?!  Make sure you keep hopping with us today to keep falling in love!  There are still lots of STUNNING projects to see!  Just check out what AurΓ©lie has in store for you on her blog next!!!
