Come to Gather With a Gift Bag...

Need a little gift bag for fall time?!  I find I often need all sorts of gift packaging around this time of year!  So how about you make one of these fun pouches...made from the Copper Dotted Treat Bags!  These go fabulously with the whole Come to Gather Suite!

Colors: Petal Pink, Pretty Peacock, Soft Sea Foam, Copper
Inks: Petal Pink, Memento Black
Cardstock/Papers Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Copper Foil Sheets, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Gathered Leaves Dies
Accessories: Pretty Peacock Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Tags & Feathers Elements, Linen Thread, Copper Dotted Treat Bags

This was one of my make & takes at my latest Suite Stampin' Success/Holiday Crafting Extravaganza event.  I loved watched a whole bunch of people making it!

These Tags & Feathers Elements add so much to this project.

I love this color combo also...Pretty Peacock, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, and Copper.  Look out for more cards using this combo!  😁

Making this gift pouch is so easy also!  Just take a bag, cut off a small sliver on each side of the bag, cutting down about 1" or so, and fold down.

Then decorate!

Hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  I am here to help!  Thanks so much for visiting!!

Wonderfully Wicked Coffin Wreath ...

I am SOOOO excited about what I get to share with you today!  I even love the story of how this wreath came to be.  It all started with the FABULOUS wreath in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog (page 52-53) that was created with the COFFIN TREAT BOXES!!!  First of all...my talented friend Leana, one of Stampin' Up!'s Concept Artists, made that stunning wreath!!!  Beautiful creations made by friends are always special to me! Then...my friend, Carl, made a few of the wreaths himself and that inspired me to not just stare at the beauty, but make my own!  Yay!  Thanks, friends!  💖

So I posted this on IG & FB the other day...

"Any guesses on what I am FINALLY getting around to making?!"

I was so excited to get started on it!  I was so excited, in fact, that I ended up not being able to stop until I was done!  😀  Hee.  I honestly didn't have much of a plan when I started.  But it took a totally different direction from what I had in my head.  And I ♡ LOVE ♡ how it turned out!!!

Are you as in love as I am?!  😀 Hee.  All the gold stamped boxes are embossed with gold embossing powder.  The white ones are embossed with white embosssing powder.  Then I used the Stylish Scrolls Embossing Folder for all the other coffins.  ALL the boxes are sponged with Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic Ink Pad.  😍

Also...I completely copied the focal point that Leana did on her wreath because I thought it was perfect...

True story...I haven't really decorated for Halloween this year yet...so it is nice to at least be able to hang this FABULOUSLY FESTIVE wreath on my front door!

(It was also on display for the Holiday Crafting Extravaganza that I did this weekend...more on that event coming!)

Just look at the rose in this stamp set though.  This is a BEAUTIFUL flower that is just a "one stamp" and you are done!  And look at all that detail you get:

It is so stunning!!!!

Rustic Fun With Perfectly Plaid ...

The Wrapped In Plaid Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog has quite a few products that will make all your Christmas wishes come true!  😀  The fun stamp set & coordinating punch are amazing.  However...today I am sharing a QUICK and simple card that doesn't even use the Pine Tree Punch...

Colors: Crumb Cake, Shaded Spruce, Early Espresso, Poppy Parade
Inks: Early Espresso, Memento Black, Stampin' Write Marker: Poppy Parade
Cardstock/Papers Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Wrapped In Plaid 6"x6" Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Perfectly Plaid
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies
Accessories: Linen Thread, Snowflake Sequins

How easy is this?!  I just did some stamping, splattering, and a little accessory adding and you have yourself a fun Christmas card!  ***Note: how I did the greeting... put a small piece of a post it over the words that will be a different color, ink up the full stamp in Black, remove the post-it's & then used a Stampin' Write Marker to add the color!

Really this card was so quick and easy.  Yet the details make it fun and special.  This even would be a fun layout to use with lots of different stamp sets!  ***Note:  I LOVE this shaded look that is so easy to get with just ONE ink pad.  I just ink up the tree and stamp it two or three times--without re-inking it--to get that color variation.

I hope you enjoy this card!  What are you crafting today?!

Easy Does It With Let It Snow...

I love a quick and easy card layout!  And using Designer Series Paper that does all the work for you doesn't get much easier!  That's what I love about this card...

Inks: VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Real Red, Basic Black, Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Snowman Season

The Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper is the star of the show on this card!  One of the patterns has those fabulous glittery snowmen...

And the other has a fun stripe that makes for a cute background to "frame" the snowmen.  I just added a greeting, some Baker's Twine, and the Snowflake Sequins for a little detail.  Easy peasy!

It is October Blog Hop Time with Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team!!!!

YAY!!!  It is time to hop around the globe and visit all sorts of fun projects!  And it's HOLIDAY time!  We are focusing on different suites from Stampin' Up!'s 2019 Holiday Catalog!   If you are just getting started...WELCOME!  You are in for a treat!  If you just came from Angela's Blog...well I'm certain you are inspired already!  😃

I am pretty excited to share my projects today.  I kinda love them!  They both focus heavily on watercoloring...one of my most very favorite techniques.  But both of these watercolored cards also feature heat embossing!  Another love of mine!  So here goes nothing!! Ready for some watercoloring?!  And ready for some fall leaves with the Gather Together Bundle?!

I love these little beauties!  What do you think?!  They have made my heart smile every time I have looked at them!  But I want to show you them a little closer!

This card was a blast to make!  I started with a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  Then I just embossed some leaves with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I colored them in using ink and an Aqua Painter, and then colored the background in Pool Party.  I added some splatter with the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink.

How pretty is that?!  Right?!?!?  I LOVE this color combo!  (And it is the same for both cards I am sharing...Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight,  Granny Apple Green, and Gold.)

On to this next fun card where I added some watercoloring a little differently...

For this one I started out by coloring strips of watercolor paper...

Easy peasy, right?!  Just add some color!  Then you just adhere them down to cardstock that is cut to size of how you want it.  (Strips will be longer than the cardstock.)

Then just trim it down, emboss some leaves on there, add some splatter, and Viola!

Easy peasy!  Then to finish it off, I just colored some of the Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon with the Calpyso Coral Light Marker, and added it to the panel.  😍😍😍

Finish the card and then just sit back and stare.  It's ok!  It's worth it!  Hee.

I hope you enjoy these projects!  I can't wait for you to see the rest!  So keep hopping head and go find Aurelie's blog next!  You will be glad you did!

Gather Together With Gold Pizza Box...

I have had quite a bit of fun playing with the "Come to Gather" Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog.  It's a fun mix of products!  And when you combine it with the Gold Mini Pizza Box from the Wrapped In Plaid Suite...I may love it all even more.  😁

Colors: Calypso Coral, Soft Sea Foam, Pretty Peacock, Gold
Inks: Calypso Coral, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Calypso Coral, Basic Black, Soft Sea Foam, Gold Foil, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Gathered Leaves Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Gold Mini Pizza Boxes, Come to Gather Ribbon Combo Pack, Tag & Feathers Elements

I only adhered the Designer Series Paper to the box.  The rest is just a belly band that goes around the box.  So you can easily remove the pretty decor, and the recipient can get into their box without ruining it!   Love when it works out like that!  😀

I love all the elements to this...the Designer Paper, the dies, the stamps, those wooden elements...it all makes my heart happy!

I hope you enjoy also!  Thank you so much for visiting!

Gather Together Meets All-Around Wreaths! Club Project!

I shared the club card I made the other day, so now do you want to see the project we made?!  Well yay!  Because I'm excited to share it with you!

Colors: Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry
Inks: Early Espresso, Crushed Curry, Pumpkin Pie, Crumb Cake
Cardstock/Papers Pretty Peacock, Crushed Curry, Shimmery White, Crumb Cake, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Gathered Leaves Dies, Subtle Embossing Folder, Timeless Label Punch, Aqua Painter
Accessories: Nature's Twine, Mint Macaron 1/4" Textile Ribbon, Acetate Card Boxes

So I LOVE the Acetate Card Boxes in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog.  They are so much fun to hold a set of cards, gifts, treats, etc.  And I am LOVING this fall wreath!  I didn't even think of using the fabulous All Around Wreath Dies for a fall wreath until I saw one done by the talented Melody Hyde.  So shout out to her for this idea!

For this wreath, I stamped some Crushed Curry cardstock with the Buffalo Check stamp set--in Crushed Curry ink.  Then cut out two wreaths.  I love the texture that the Buffalo Check adds!

And this color combo is pretty fabulous also.  Crushed Curry, Pretty Peacock, and Mint Macaron?!  Who would have thought it would look so great together!  😀

Hope you enjoy this fun card/treat/gift box!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Gather Together For October Club Card...

Club project time!  My monthly club group was this month!  Woot!  I love this event.  It is a blast every time and I'm lucky with the people that I get to spend time with at these events!  Want to see the card we made?!  Well...ok then!!!  Here you go!

Colors: Pool Party, Petal Pink, Soft Sea Foam, Whisper White
Inks: Gray Granite, Soft Sea Foam, Versamark,
BLENDS MARKER: Dark Petal Pink
Cardstock/Papers Pool Party, Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Basic Black, Gold Foil Sheet, Come to Gather Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Gather Together
Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Gathered Leaves Dies, Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

We had to do fall, but I used more of a subtle fall color combo, than your more traditional fall colors.  I kinda like how it turned out!

Love this Come to Gather Suite.  It has fun sayings, images, and background splatter!  Yay!  And YES!  I colored that ribbon AGAIN with Blends.  This is the Dark Petal Pink Stampin Blends Marker.  And I LOVE doing that!!!  😀

That fun gold leaf is a die...you run it through one time and it embosses AND cuts it out!  Quick, easy, and dynamic!!  LOVE IT!!!  Also....did you notice that the embossing folder I used is actually in the Monster Bash Halloween suite?!  I LOVE this folder because it can be spooky or classy!  Works for anything!

I hope you enjoy this card!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Thanks for visiting!

I know, it's hard to admit, but Christmas is right around the corner!  Crazy!  Still have lots of Halloween fun to prep for, but wanted to share a quick but dynamic Christmas card!
