Utensil Holder...Stampin' Up! style...

I know Thanksgiving is over.  And these were for my Thanksgiving table.  HOWEVER...I also know we all have holiday parties coming up and these could be EASILY adapted for Christmas or any event you are having!!!!  So I thought I should still share!  :)  Here is a fun utensil holder for your party table...

Cute?!  Right?!  :)  Here are more pictures...
And yes...you may have noticed I did emboss the napkin.  I have done this quite a bit for events and it just adds such a fun touch.  Gotta love the Big Shot and embossing folders!  :)  Here is a pic of the bottom details close up...
Great way to make your guests feel welcome at your party.  Here is a pic of just the holder...
These folders are really easy and quick to make.  I just cut a piece of cardstock that would fit my napkin. Added a few extra inches in length to give me a pocket to fold up.  So just fold up the extra inches making your pocket and then decorate.

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!!!

November Club Project...

About time I share the club project we made in November, huh?!  :)

Anyone need a fun Christmas gift wrapping idea?!  Well...just take a white gift sack and add some Stampin' Up! bling...and you have a fun bag!  I used the Designer Series Paper from the Festival of Prints paper pack.  I didn't even cut the paper at all...it was the perfect size for the front of the bag.  Added some cardstock, punches, stamped tree, tulle ribbon, sweater trim ribbon, etc, and there you have a fancy bag!

Here is a picture of the details...
Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoyed this project!

October Club Card...

I am trying to get back onto a regular posting schedule!  Sorry!  First up...I will catch you up on last month's club projects.  I showed you the 3D project we did.  Now up is the card.  Here you go...

Isn't it fun?!  I LOVE this leaf set...Gently Falling.  The leaves are so pretty and it's a 2-step stamping set.  (So stamp the inside fill leaf image and then go back over it in another color with the outline.  It's so easy and quick to get a beautiful image!)  Love the colors as well...and I came up with the combo from the Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper.  (LOVE that paper!)  It's Lucky Limeade, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, and Cajun Craze.  And don't you love that Wooden Button!  Here are a couple of close-up's...

I hope you enjoy this card!  Be back soon with more stamping projects!!!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!

October Club Project...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Wow...what a month!  We have had lots going on!  The most exciting one...my hubby and I just returned from a FABULOUS Hawaiian Vacation.  BUT...that's not why you are here.  You want to see a stamped project!  :)

Here is the 3D project we made for my Stamp Club this month...

A fun little Halloween treat.  Lots of details.  Here are some more pictures...

Love the glimmer.  Added some glass glitter, Shimmer Spray, stamping, sponging, ribbon, etc.  This is made with the Fancy Favor Die...just modified a bit.  Super fun and easy!

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoy!!!

Flowering Friends...

When I first saw the stamp set, Flowering Flourishes, in the new Annual Catalog, I knew I needed it!  It's a fun stamp set to use, and I can't believe I haven't shown you any samples yet!  Here is one card I made with it...

I tried this new color combo and I LOVE it!!!  It's so bright and cherry.  The colors are Lucky Limeade, Island Indigo, and Daffodil Delight.  I embossed the main flowering flourish in Whisper Whie embossing powder on Island Indigo.  Also embossed it onto Daffodil Deligth cardstock and punched out some circles for accents.

Here are a few close-up's...

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks for visiting!

I Am So Lucky!!

Why the title to the post?  WHY do I feel lucky?!  I am lucky because I am apart of the BEST group of demonstrators in the Stampin' Up Company!  And the Leadership we have in our group...simply AMAZING!!!!!  They spoil us!  My up-up line always does a fun event one of the nights of the convention...and she always has a fun gift for us!  Seriously....so lucky!  I forgot to share with you our gift from this summer!  Better late than never, right?!  Here is the fun gift we received...

She made everyone their own personalized decorated initial!  I was so excited and just love it!!!!  Isn't it fabulous!  She just cut strips of paper, adhered them to the letter wood block, and then cut around the strips with her hobby blade.  She said it was easy.  :)  I need to try some myself!  How fun would these be to make for any holiday or event!  Here are a few other pictures...

Love the Designer Series Paper (Summer Smooches pack), ribbon, and of course the letter!  :)

Thanks for visiting!  I hope you enjoyed this project!

September Club Projects...

Want to know what we made for our club projects this month?!  (Well...last month since today is the first day of October....WHERE does time go?!)  We always do a card and a 3D item.  (And if you ever want to join my club or have questions about it...drop me a line!)

Up first is the card.  We focused on Halloween (I try to do holidays in advance so they can get ideas to do their own holiday projects in plenty of time).  SO here's a little "BOO" for you...
Had a lot of fun making this card!  How FUN is that embossed Spider Web in the back?!  And the pennants...always a fun touch!  Here are some close-up's...

Then Halloween always needs some fun candy, RIGHT?!  So here is a cute way to package some up...
How fun is this?!  It's made with the Two Tags die.  I used the same basic colors for both projects....Basic Gray, Basic Black, Lucky Limeade, Pumpkin Pie (or Tangerine Tango).  They also both use the Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper...which I LOVE!!!  Here are some more pics of this cute treat...

Hope you enjoyed these projects!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Happy 60th Daddy...

We just got back from a fun week away.  (I mean...it was the 2nd week of school for my Kylie...didn't we all need a break?! :) Hee hee)  We rented a house down in St. George (about 4 1/2 hours away...in the southern part of Utah) with my family to just have some time all together.  My newlywed brother and his wife and my college brother were only able to be there for one of the weekends we were there.  My oldest brother and his family (wife and 6 kids), my parents, and my family were able to be there all 9 days!!!  It was WONDERFUL!  My 6 year old had a BLAST with her cousins and the AMAZING backyard set-up.  (There was a pool, a putting green, a swing set...that was barely used because of previously mentioned pool, etc.)

(Look at my CUTIE! parents!!!)

Now...my Dad turns 60 on the 24th of this month.  So while we were all going to be together...I wanted to throw him a surprise Birthday party to celebrate!  So the first Sunday we were there...celebrate we did!!!!  It wasn't the easiest party to throw...considering we were all staying at the same house, I was out of town and didn't know the set-up of the house until I got there the night before, and EVERYTHING had to prepped and ready before I left so I wouldn't forget anything!  But the party went great, the set-up was fun, and although I didn't go quite as crazy as I normally do...it was crazy enough!  :)  So on to the stamping part of this post...the party.  It was cowboy themed.  No...my dad isn't a cowboy. But he has ALWAYS wanted to be one!  So I thought it was fitting!  And this was the door he got to walk through...

Don't know if you can totally tell...but it looks like one of those old time Saloon doors!  Gotta love party stores!  :)  (Truly...I DO love party stores!  Could walk around them for HOURS AND HOURS if ever given the chance!  :) )

Then when you first walk out you see...

Sorry this picture didn't come out so well.  (Dang sunlight!  :) )  But this was the table that greeted everyone.  It was "the Watering Hole", if you will.  I was rushing around right before we surprised him so I didn't get a chance to get the best photos.  So this is the only picture I have of the pennant banner I made with the now retired old Pennant die.  (That I will NEVER get rid of because I LOVE IT!!!  Hope you have it!!!) Sorry I didn't get an up-close pic...but it was really cute.  :)  And then the center of the table had a fun cowboy boots picture, some hay, IBC rootbeer, our plates and silverware, and a "60 sucks" gift for my dad (that I didn't even get an up-close picture of!) that was a basket of 60 suckers.  (Hee hee...thanks Pinterest!!! Saw that idea a long time ago and have just been waiting for this day to use it!!  Hee hee.)  Here are some more close-up pictures...

LOOK AT THE FUN SILVERWARE!  :)  Love that cowboy.  (Sorry...it's a retired stamp set.)  I got this idea to wrap the silverware in the napkin from an AMAZING birthday party I went to a few weeks ago...thanks, Heather!  :)

Then here is a shot of the food table not quite together with everything yet...

I know...far away.  Well...here are some close-up's...

The chalkboard signs I made with the retired Chalkboard vinyl were a fun touch.  SO EASY to make with some Designer Series Paper in the frame, my Big Shot to cut out the ovals to put on the glass of the frame, a few punches, a stamp, and retired rope ribbon.  (Should of taken a close-up of just the frame...sorry!  Hopefully you can tell how cute they are!  :)  )  Then just use a chalkboard marker to write all the food names on them!  LOVE the details!

Then for their favor...I set up a candy station with treat boxes for them to fill up...

The sign on this station says, "Grub to Go".  I thought that sounded more cowboy than "Candy Bar" or "Candy Station" or something like that.  :)

Also had a photo booth.  Nothing super crafty here.  (Just some mustaches hot glued on to a skewer)  But here is a pic of the kiddos in their get-up...

Aren't they cute?!?!  :)

I wish I would of taken a pic of the whole thing all together because it was so cute.  I had balloons hanging around also.  (With a marble in the bottom so they would stay hanging down...thanks again Pinterest!  :) )  I just didn't get enough photos.  Here is one with some of the balloons though...

Can't miss a Big Birthday Cheer for my AMAZING Daddy!  (And look in the bottom left corner...that's the "60 sucks" sign in the basket of suckers.  :) )  Being the only girl with 3 brothers...I definitely am a Daddy's girl!  (Not to say that I am not a Mommy's girl also!  :) )  HAPPY 60th Daddy!!!!

Hope you enjoyed this party!  :)  Wish everyone could of been there!  Thanks for visiting!!!

February Fancy Blue!

Time for this month's Stampin' Fancy Friday challenge! And this one is a GOOD one!  Are you ready for SOMETHING BLUE?!  Colors :   C...
