Seriously The Best Blends Rainbow...

I saw a card today created by the FABULOUS Melody Hyde (over at @hammondandpenny) that had a rainbow made with Blends Markers.  Well I LOVED it and decided I better make a Blends rainbow card also!  😃 So off to my craft room I went!

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Lovely Lipstick, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Highland Heather, Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold
Inks:  Coastal Cabana, VersaMark, Blends: Light Lovely Lipstick, Dark Pumpkin Pie, Dark Daffodil Delight, Dark Granny Apple Green, Dark Pool Party, Light Highland Heather
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Gold Foil Paper, Glimmer Paper
Stamps: Seriously the Best
Tools: Pretty Label Punch, Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Aqua Painter
AccessoriesIridescent Sequin Assortment, Whisper White Baker's Twine, White Stampin' Emboss Powder

I need to go back and try it again, but I really do love a good rainbow!

Love the texture additions with embossing, distressing, and splatter!

These "clouds" are done with the Pretty Label Punch.  I just looked at my punches to find something that looked like a cloud and say that.  Thought it works pretty well!  I'm going to miss this when it retires!  I am also going to totally miss this stamp is called Seriously the Best and it truly lives up to its name!

Added a little gold to the side of the rainbow as my nod to "gold at the end of a rainbow."  This was a fun card to make!  You should give it a try!  Just pick your Blends colors, swipe some color on, and squeal with glee!  😀

Fancy Friday Colors!

Have you been following along with the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team this month on social media?  If not...check it out on Instagram and Facebook!  We have been posting fun & fancy color combo projects all month!  Today I am sharing the card I made!

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, Gray Granite, Night of Navy, Whisper White
Inks:  Rococo Rose, Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Gray Granite
Cardstock/Papers:  Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Gray Granite, Vellum, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Sailing Home
Tools: Smooth Sailing Dies, Aqua Painter
AccessoriesWoven Threads Sequin Assortment, Night of Navy/Sahara Sand Baker's Twine

I always love playing with Stampin' Up!'s fun & fresh In Colors.  I realized I haven't used them as much lately, so I figured it was time to change that!  So for today's card, I challenged myself to use Seaside Spray & Rococo Rose.  Then I just mixed in a few neutrals.  Love this nautical card!

I always love a fun watercolor wash...and that was where I brought in the Rococo Rose color...

Love the layers & details of this the distressed edges.  Just drag your Paper Snips across the edges of your cardstock, use your Bone Folder to curl a corner and break up the cardstock fibers, and then separate the layers of the cardstock.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Let me know please if you have any questions!  What Fancy Colors are you playing around with?!  I would LOVE to see!

Timeless Tropical Stripe...

I MISS THE BEACH!  Since I can't get there (I am actually supposed to be in Hawaii right now.  😭😭😭)...I have to make a tropical card to bring some tropics to me.  Hee.  So thank you Timeless Tropical Bundle!

SUPPLIES:  (all items are available in my STORE!)

Colors: Flirty Flamingo, Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Whisper White, Gold
Inks:  Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, Soft Suede, Coastal Cabana
Cardstock/Papers:  Thick Whisper White, Shimmery White, Gold Foil Sheets
Stamps: Timeless Tropical
Tools: In the Tropics Dies, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Subtle Embossing Folder
AccessoriesWoven Threads Sequin Assortment, Linen Thread
I honestly would go back and fix a bunch of things.  But I was finishing this up at dinner making time, so I hurried to finish to go do some cooking!  My fave part though is the watercolored stripe background...

It was SO easy to make!  Just get some Coastal Cabana ink on an Aqua Painter, and paint some quick stripes onto Shimmery White cardstock.  Hard to tell in photo, but it is so shimmery in real life...

I used the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and the In the Tropics Dies for the majority of this card.  The Stitched Rectangle Dies & Subtle Embossing Folder were also used for some added texture. And I love these little white flowers:

Thank you so much for visiting!  I hope you enjoy and come back and visit again!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

This was the fun sketch I started with...
I think this sketch is such a fun one that you could use a million different ways!

Here are a few more pictures of the card:

Love those sand dollars!  I embossed a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Then when I cut out the sand dollars from the same colored cardstock, and just adhered it over the embossed card piece, it makes a subtle "pop" that I love.  😊

These shimmer in real life, because I colored over them with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  So trust me...they sparkle.  Hee.  LOVE all those layers! 😍

More of those amazing sand dollars!  And sequins....always sequins!  💖

I hope you enjoyed!  Again...head on over to the TGIF Challenge blog and play along with us!   Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!  I would love to help!
