Santa Christmas...

Happy Thanksgiving Week!  Yes...it's almost Thanksgiving here in the United States.  Wow!  So I'm not overlooking Thanksgiving....but I do have a Christmas card for you!  :)  Cause Christmas is right around the corner as well!!!  And I have to admit...LOVING this card!  It's made with the Circle Thinlit card dies that Stampin' Up! released just a few months ago.  I get a lot of use out of these.  They are fantastic!!!

Here it is...
I think this Santa stamp from the "Santa's List" stamp set (in the Holiday Mini) is just so fantastic!  LOVE him!  So he takes front and center on this card.  Then the little banner gets held behind the button when it's closed.  Then when you "flip" the card open...there is an extra flap on the card that is easy to make with this die so it opens like this...
So fun, right?!  With lots of writing room or put a photo...or whatever you need!

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks for visiting!

Unconventional Christmas...

Who needs another Christmas card idea?!  This one I am sharing today uses an unconventional stamp set to make ornaments.

Pretty clever, right?!  This is the Mosaic Madness stamp set...and I used the coordinating Mosaic punch to punch out the images.  Easy peasy to use a stamp set not intended for Christmas for a Christmas card!  Also used the fabulous and wonderful Washi Tape and Ruffled Ribbon.  Here are a few more pics...
Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!

November Club Project...

This month for club we made a little treat pouch for our project.  (Or it could be a pouch for cards or any thin item.)  I love this pouch because it is using one of the amazing kits that is in the Holiday Catalog.  It is from the Thankful Tablescape Kit.  Just goes to show...that even if the kits don't seem like something you would use (I don't necessarily need the napkin pouches, etc.)...look again!  They are pre-cut/pre-score items that make crafting a breeze if you are in a hurry!

So this is what we made with the kit...
With the exception of the button and sentiment label...everything came from the kit.  This is how the pouch opens up...
We must made the score lines to fold the flap down...everything else was pre-scored for us!  And it's actually quite a large pouch.  Here are two full size chocolate bars inside...
The chocolate fits all the way in the pouch...I just have them pulled up so you can see them.  I also like how the pouch is scored.  It is wider at top to make things fit easy inside...
And here is a close-up of the focal point...
The smaller leaf is the same yellow design as the big leaf but is white on the other side.  So we just flipped it over and stamped it to give it a contrasting pattern.

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks for visiting!!!

November Club Card...

We had our monthly club night last night.  Can I just say...I love my club members and it's so nice to be able to get together once a month!  And I wish my long distance clubbers could come also!  I miss them too!!!  Just wanted to share the card we made this month...

Happy Thanksgiving!!!  LOVE LOVE LOVE the Shimmer paper and Burlap ribbon!  It just SPARKLES and shines but yet doesn't totally take over the card.  Here are a few more shots...

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Merry Christmas with Snowflakes...

Here is just a quick and easy idea for a Christmas card!  It's using the new Snowflake stamp set with coordination framelits set called "Festive Flurry".  You get a discount for ordering them together...so make sure you do that! :-) (They are on page 30 in the Holiday catalog.)

Love all the banners and the touch of silver glimmer paper!

Here is a close-up of some of the details...
Hope you enjoy this layout!  If you don't need a Christmas card...this would be a great layout to use for any occasion!

Christmas Cheer For All...

It's never too early to start thinking of Christmas cards, right?!  I bet a lot of you are done with them at this point...if you are hand-making them anyway.  But maybe some of you are just needing a couple handmade cards to deliver with neighbor gifts.  Either way...here is an idea for you...

This card is quite quick and easy...thanks to the Bow Die from Stampin' Up!  Seriously this bow die is SOOOO CUTE!   You can even use it with fabric and felt to make hair bows for your hair!!!  (I have three girls...so this is a BIG deal to me! :) )  I will show you some of those in another post.  Anyway...this card just requires some background paper, paper for the bow, a fun greeting, and some Baker's Twine.  Then lets not forget the shimmer of the Silver Glimmer Paper.  So easy!  And so easy to switch up for any color combo you want or prefer.  Here is a pic of the fun greeting...
I hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!

She Believed She Could...

Just want to share a fun way to use your Stampin' Up! products today.  I LOVE using my supplies for home decor items.  A few weeks ago my upline did her big annual training event.  She had quite a few people help her get the meeting together...and so I helped her by making a thank you gift for them.  This is what I made...

I love this sentiment from the Feel Goods stamp set.  It says, "she Believed she could so she did."  Isn't that great?!  Anyway...here are some more detailed pictures...

I modged podged the Designer Series Paper to the canvas (oh...these are 8x10 canvases) and then also stapled the ribbon to the back so they could hang it up.  Then just added the elements on top of the modged podged canvas.  You can kinda see how things are popped up here...
Here is a picture of the canvas hanging up on my Melon Mambo wall in my stamp room...
(Which this reminds me.  I need to get some updated pictures of my stamp room up.  I have had some requests for that.  I have done that in the past...years and years ago.  But have since made changes and need to share!  Just need to clean up the disaster down there right now and I will share!  :) )

Hope you enjoy this project!  And hope it inspires you to try some home decor projects using your stamping supplies!  It certainly is fun!  Thanks for visiting!

Happy Halloween! October Club Card...

Just had to share the club card we made this month!  I LOVE Halloween!  Don't really know why...but I LOVE making cute cards and treats and decorations for the holiday!  It's too much fun!  Here is a card we made this month...

HOW FUN IS THIS?!? Yes...it looks like a little file folder!  We did this with the NEW ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD that is just SO much fun to use!!!

It's used to make envelopes a breeze to make...but we don't have to stop there!  Here is the inside of the card...

you can see the tabs to the card better here.  There here is an up-close pic of the shimmer...

Love these little images from the "Halloween Hello" stamp set.  And LOVE that Silver Glimmer Paper that we punched the Scallop circle out of.  And this Designer Series Paper is the current Halloween paper in Stampin' Up's Seasonal catalog.  It's called "Witches Brew" and it's fantastic!

I hope you enjoy this project!  Let me know if you have any questions and THANK YOU for visiting! designwithink@gmail.com

September Club 3D Project...

Here is a fun 3D project we made for club in September.  Since gift giving season is coming up soon...I wanted to show them how to make their own packaging for gifts.  Here is a fun gift bag we made using Designer Series Paper...

This bag is so easy to make and would be so easy to adjust to make any size you need.  We made this size because you can just use 1 sheet of Designer Series Paper.  You just need two pieces of 6" x 12" paper to make this box!  Here are some more shots...

LOVE the new Bow Die!  SOOOOO cute and made this bow SOOOO easy to make!  I should of taken a picture of the group of bags because we used all the colors in the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper.  They were all beautiful!  And LOVE those Candy Dots and bases we used to keep the ribbon secure.  Here is a better pic of those...
And here is a picture of the bag with the full ribbon handle...
Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

September Club Card...

I am in love with the new Thinlits Card Dies!  They are a BREEZE to use!  I have seen these "flip-flop" or "swing" or "whatever you call them" cards around forever.  But I have NEVER made them because I'm lazy like that!  They seemed just too fussy to put together so I stayed away.  Well now I can make them and they are SO EASY!  The Big Shot does all the work for me! Yay!!

I wanted to show my club members how easy they are to make so here is the card we made for club in September...
We added an extra flap to this card by just cutting the cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" (instead of the 5 1/2" x 6" the thinlit instructions say) and then just not putting the right card side flap under the die.  So it just leaves a score line instead of cutting it.
Here are some more pics...

This was such a fun card to make!  And love this Designer Series Paper.  It's from the "I Am" pack.  SO much fun!

***A note on the Thinlits Card Dies.  There are TWO shapes of these...the circle (that we used here) and then the labels.  Since they are NOT in the catalog anywhere (BRAND NEW RELEASED ITEM!) you can check them out in a flyer posted here... http://www.stampinup.com/us/documents/thinlits_flyer_demo_7.17.13_US.pdf  Then you can go to my website to order them... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net.

August Club Project...

Well FINALLY....here is the August club project my clubbers received...
These are the Tag-A-Bag Chevron bags in the catalog.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE them!  Kraft bags with White Chevron...not sure you can get any better for me!  :)  However...the come flat.  But for club in August we turned these flat bags into a 3D bag...

Then we also used the Tag Accessory Kit to make the tags.  So the tags for everyone were all different somewhat.  Same stamping elements, but different tags.  Here are a few of the tags...

This is a fun and quick project.  I hope you try it!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoyed!!!!
