Beachy Day Wish With Paradise Palms ... Fancy Friday March Challenge!

Am I obsessed with this card?

Yes.

Do I find myself staring at this card for far too long?!

Also yes!

Big thanks to the Stampin' Fancy Friday Challenge (and the rest of this fabulous design team!) for knocking this challenge out of the park!  If you haven't seen what has already been posted...time to go check us out on Instagram and/or Facebook!  I think you will be impressed!  So without further ado...here is the card I created!

Colors Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Gold
Inks: Polished Pink, Pale Papaya, Coastal CabanaMemento Black
Cardstock/Papers: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Paradise Palms
Tools: Blending Brushes, Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folders, Heat Took
Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels, Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Polished Pink 3/8" Open Weave Ribbon

WHAT?!  A blended background?!  A gold embossed palm tree scene?!  I AM IN LOVE!!!! 😍  I know, I know.  Calm down, Ashley.  It is just a card?!  But what can I say?!  I just totally love it!

Look at how that gold shines!

And look at the other fun details.  Note:  the background was created by blending ink onto Whisper White cardstock, then splatter some water.  I then dab it with a paper town to dry up that water.

And I can't stop using those Iridescent Rhinestone Jewels.  LOVE LOVE them!

Seas the Day With A Color Pop Inspiration...TGIF Challenge 361:

TGIF Challenge #361 has my name all over it! It is a COLOR POP Challenge!  What?!  If you know me or follow me ... you must know that I love a fun color pop!  😁  So yes please!  This card may have a bit more color on it than you may think a "Color Pop" should have.  But I kept the card white and then made some fun focal elements that POP with color.  See what I mean here:

Colors Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Basic Black, White
Inks: Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Polished Pink, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Pacific Point, Fresh Freesia, Memento Black, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Basic White Thick, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Seas the Day, Whale Done, Hello Beautiful (sentiment)
Tools: Heat Tool, Sea Dies, Beautiful Shapes Dies, Water Painters
Accessories: Basics Embossing Powder, Linen Thread, Shimmery Crystal Effects, Sequins for Everything

I mean...just look at those fun hexagon pops...filled with the wonder of the seas & color!  😀  Here is a pic of each hexagon:

I cut the hexagons out using the Beautiful Shapes Dies from Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, watercolored them with Coastal Cabana, then splattered with black ink.  Then I stamped images from the Seas the Day & Whale Done Stamp Sets and cut them out either with scissors or with coordinating dies from the Seas Dies.

Do you see that gorgeous sheen?!  I used the Shimmery Crystal Effects on some of the pieces and I am SWOONING!!! 😍😍😍

I hope you enjoy!  Now...you can head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog and play along with us! 💕

And one last look at this card:

Hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help with any of your papercrafting needs!  Stampin' Up has FABULOUS supplies...so let me know what you need me to help you with!

Craft Room Decor Re-do!

A couple years ago, I made a fun paper flower decor piece.  Well...I have been finishing up with all the final touches of my craft room after I did a little makeover to it awhile ago.  (Yeah...it's taking me forever to get the final touches done.  Luckily...it's functional.  Just slow moving with all the little end details.)  Anyway...I reworked this piece a bit and added it to a shadowbox frame...because I love it a whole bunch!  So without further ado...here is the "old to new again" decor...

Colors Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green
Inks: NONE!
Cardstock/Papers: Polished Pink, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, So Saffron, Coastal Cabana, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Granny Apple Green, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: NONE!
Tools: Assorted Punches!  (Most are retired since I made these years ago...let me know if you have any questions on any specific ones and I will get you the answers!)
Accessories: Assorted!  (Most are retired Most are retired since I made these years ago...let me know if you have any questions on any specific ones and I will get you the answers!

The original one I did had the word "inspire" on it...but I decided to not add any sentiment.  This is hanging on the wall above a letter board...so there will be something to read below it.  😏

And here are a few close-ups of the flowers...

I admit...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the greenery.  What color is that?!  You may be asking?!  Why...it is Granny Apple Green!  I wanted a bit less dark than the cardstock is, so I just made my own!  I watercolored with Granny Apple Green onto the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper...and then die-cut my images!

Then repeat for however many you need!  😁 Easy, breezy!  A few more pics...

I hope you enjoy!  You can check out the original HERE

Thank you for visiting!  I hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions at all!
