Above the Clouds With Watercolor Pencils:

I LOVE the Above the Clouds Bundle that is in the *NEW* Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.  A hot air balloon punch and coordinating stamp set?!  Why yes, please!  But...you also can use the stamp set without the punch.  I stamped, embossed, and watercolored these balloons.  And fell in love with them even more along the way.  😍😍😍 Hee.

Aren't they so much fun?!  The Watercolor Pencils were SOOOO much fun to use.  Just scribble some color on there and then blend!  I used an Aqua Painter for this card, but you could also use the Blender Pens. 


I really love the white embossed outline also. 


Also love the fun new Designer Series Paper stacks that come in color families.  The patterns are so cute and fun!  And can we talk about sequins...everything needs a splattering of sequins, right?!  😁

Bright Daisy Lane...June Club Card:

There is a fun new stamp set in Stampin' Up!'s NEW Annual Catalog that I love.  It is called Daisy Lane.  It coordinates with the Daisy Punch that we have had for awhile.  AND THEN... it also coordinates with the NEW Medium Daisy Punch!  YAY!!!  Love that!  So wanted to show my club gals how you could make a quick and easy card with this fun new punch:

Dotted Copper Bird Ballad...June Club Project:

I LOVE the Bird Ballad Suite!  Have you seen it yet?!  I also LOVE the new Dotted Copper Bags.  So I just altered the bag a little and combined it with the fun birds to make this fun gift pouch:

How cute are those birds?!  I just love them!  We colored them with the Blends Markers:


And yes...I think I have used those Nested Stitched Labels Dies on everything since I got them.  Hee.  LOVE them so much!  Love this Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper also.  You can see it peeking out from behind the birds...it is the belly band to keep the flap down on the bag.

Best Wishes With Perennial Essence...

Have a quick project to share with you using the Perennial Essence Suite (item #152166).  Did you know you could just buy the whole suite together with just one item number?!  That was added to this NEW Catalog.  Yay!  This Suite has GORGEOUS Designer Series Paper that really just shines all on it's own!  I used one of the patterns for this fun gift box:

Stamps: Floral Essence

Accessories: Acetate Card Box, Petal Pink 5/8" Organdy Striped Ribbon, Whisper White Baker's Twine, Mint Macaron 1/4" Textile Ribbon, Gold Faceted Gems

This was so easy to make, it is just one of the Acetate Card Boxes that has some fun elements on the front.  Again...the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper really shines on this project.  HOW GORGEOUS is that pattern?!  A work of art!  Then just added a few stamped flowers, a greeting, and some fun fibers...and you are done!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Nested Stitched Labels Dies...and use them ALL the time.



I really like this floral stamp as well...I think it is a fun one to stamp tone on tone (Petal Pink ink onto Petal Pink cardstock) and makes them look so pretty!

A Good Man For Dad's Day!

Happy Father's Day!  I am SOOOO excited about the A Good Man Stamp Set that is in Stampin' Up!'s NEW Annual Catalog.  I have been blessed to have so many amazing men in my life, my own Dad being #1.  So I went right to this stamp set for his Father's Day card.

I wasn't sure how I wanted to color this fun image...but I decided on Blends.  I really love these markers...they are SO easy and fun to use!  The color beautifully!


Love the little heart stamp that is in the set also.  I just stamped it right onto the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper that I used for the background.

Sailing Away Artisan Design Team Blog Hop...

It is that time again!  It is time to HOP ALONG with Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team!  If you are continuing on in your hop, you just came from ANGELA'S BLOG!  Didn't you just love what she did?!  If you are just starting the hop...WELCOME!  Happy to have you!  We are hopping along sharing all sorts of fun ideas made with the Come Sail Away Suite products!

Here are the projects I made for you today using the Sailing Home Stamp Set (Item # 149457) and Smooth Sailing Dies (Item # 149576):


I love these products so much!  They are so much fun!  That anchor die is 😍😍😍!  So that was the star of the show for one of my cards:

Colors: Gray Granite, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink Pads: VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers:  Gray Granite, Whisper White, Basic Black
Stamps: Sailing Home
Tools: Smooth Sailing Die, Heat Tool
Accessories: Whisper White Baker's Twine, Sail Away Trinkets, Whisper White Embossing Powder

I did a few different things with this anchor.  First...I made a background by just cutting a bunch of the anchors from Gray Granite cardstock.  Then adhered those (using the Multi-Purpose Adhesive-the "green lid" glue!) to a Gray Granite piece of cardstock.  I love this technique...it even almost makes it look like an embossed background! 

Here is the next thing that I did with the anchor:

May be hard to tell here...but I adhered about 5 of the anchors together.  Then I topped them with a layer of the Fine-Tip Glue.  It makes it look like a glossy enamel element.  LOVE IT!

I love this next card and how the Pool Party card base makes everything pop:

Cardstock/Papers:  Pool Party, Whisper White, Vellum, Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper

I also love how it opens.  I cut off an inch from the card front and adhered the Designer Paper to the inside of the card...


I love the fun little details this gives it!  Also...I am pretty in love with this gold embossed sail boat:

I think the Nested Label Dies are for sure going to be one of my most used die sets.  I LOVE THEM!!!

Bird Ballad to Follow Your Art...

I have another Make & Take that we made at On Stage in April to share!  However...I have a bonus with it...I took the layout and made it with NEW stuff!  So...the card we made, we used the Bird Ballad Suite.  The new one I made...I used the Follow Your Art Suite!!!!  I wanted to share how it was so easy to see something that you love, and just make it your own with whatever you want to use!


First of all...I LOVE the Bird Ballad one!  I think it's gorgeous!!!  But I also love the layout because it's so easy to switch up with anything!  And it's a QUICK & EASY card! 

Let me show you the Bird Ballad one better:

Ink Pads: Staz On Jet Black Blends: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Calpyso Coral, Crumb Cake

And fun tip...the birds are covered with a layer of the Fine-Tip Glue Pen, so they are all glossy and shiny!!

Healing Rococo Rose...

One of my favorite things about getting a new catalog is seeing the In Colors.  I LOVE color...so of course I love this part.  😀  Today I am showcasing one of the new In Colors...Rococo Rose.  Kind of a fun one to say.  Haha.  I am using a stamp set that carried over from the last catalog, Healing Hugs!  ((Item # 148223) It is such a good one!!!!

I love this rose stamp.  It's a DisINKtive Stamp...so you get so much detail with just one image!


I also love that cute little scalloped ribbon!


It comes in all the new In Colors, and I just adhered it so a little peek of one of the scallop sides is coming out.  I have a feeling I will be using a lot of this ribbon.  😁

Also...don't miss the Woven Thread Sequin Assortment in the catalog!  Yes!  LOVE! this mix of sequins!!  😍😍😍
