Popcorn Pinecones Joy...

Christmas is fast approaching.  I kinda can't believe it.  Here's a fun and quick gift packaging idea that you could make to wrap up any Holiday treats you give.

I love the "Christmas Pines" bundle.  It comes with a fantastic stamp set and coordinating thinlits.  Love it tons!  I just made this simple tag by cutting out some thinlit pieces and then inking up part of one of the greetings.

Add some circles from the Layering Circles Framelits and some Designer Series Paper and you're done!

Loads of Love You...TGIFC - 79

It's that time again!  Yay!  What time...you may be asking?!  Why...it's TGIF Challenge time!!!  If you have never participated...go do it!  It's fun to try something new and change things up!  I know I get stuck in a rut with designing sometimes, so it's nice to try something new!  So... bottom line...go participate!!!  :-)

Here is the challenge for this week...

I love it!  Creating a project inspired by this fabulous designer....Krista...why yes please!!!  How fun is that?!  It was great for me because I'm starting to think ALL my projects look the same.  So...I just picked one of her projects, and re-made it using a different stamp set and accessories.  Fun to try something new!

On to my project...

Go to Krista blog's post HERE to check out her card that I CASE'd!!

A few more detailed photos...

Sharing another quick project with the Spooky Fun stamp set again.  This time...we are making a gift box!  This is a super quick and easy treat box you can make....

This is made with the Clear Tiny Treat Box.  Have you seen those in the catalog?!  They are FABULOUS! They are 2" x 2" x 2" inches...so a fun size to put some treats in, but not too big that it is expensive to fill. Look how cute they are...

This project was super easy to make with a little Designer Series Paper, a fun ghost image, and a fun greeting.

I love these little ghosts (from "Spooky Fun" stamp set)  Add a little Washi tape at the top, a little Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush on the ghosts (hard to photograph, but so pretty in real life), and you have a fun card!

A Little Gifting Fun...

Just a quick post tonight!  I spent the last week and a half in sunny California with my family...and we had a blast.  I meant to post while I was gone, but we just got too busy and were having so much fun...I just didn't get around to it.  Here are a few pics...

I'm playing catch up this week on some things, so I will be sharing lots!  First up...

I love giving Stampin' Up! gifts...cause I know how much fun they are to receive...but I especially love when they are packaged up all cute!  Here is a quick and easy packaging idea for a fun SNAIL adhesive...

I love seeing packages all in a fun group or container...

This is just a Glassine bag (the polka dot ones that were recently on the Clearance Rack) that I cut down the side seams just a bit, folded over, and stapled so that the SNAIL fit perfect without flopping around in the bag.

Here is a close-up of the details...

ANNOUNCMENT...Washi Love--TGIFC 77

GUESS WHAT???!?!??!?!!!!  I have something fun to tell you that I am so excited about!  I was asked to be a designer on the TGIF Design Team!  EEEEKKKK!

I feel so honored to be asked to be apart of this amazing group of talented designers.  Every week there is a fun challenge (either using certain colors, a sketch, or a number of other fun things!)...and the design team come up with fun projects using the challenge to kick it all off!  So much fun!!!

Do you want to see the challenge for this week?!?!?!  Well...good cause I want to show you!  :-)

This week it is this fun sketch!  I love it because it's such a fun sketch to use for anything...a treat package, card, scrapbook page, home decor, etc!  Here is what I did with it...

I flipped the strips on this card and used the fabulous "Affectionately Yours" Washi Tape.  Swoon!  Love it!

Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Whisper White Thick, Watermelon Wonder, Dapper Denim
Stamps: Sunshine Sayings
ToolsBig Shot,Sunshine Wishes Thinlits, Stapler

Flourish Thank You...

Do you ever get behind in life?!  :-)  I can't imagine I'm the only one that does.  Hee.  Well...a few weeks ago I needed to get caught up on some thank you's.  I guess I should finally share the card I whipped up to say thanks!

I really love this card and all the little pieces.  Especially love the color combo!  Dapper Denim, Flirty Flamingo, Cucumber Crush.

Isn't it fun that just a few elements can make a cute card?!  It really doesn't take much to put something together.  So hopefully this card will inspire you to get creative today...wherever that takes you!  :-)  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

And just because I think it's fun to see all the cards lined up, here is a shot of some of them...

Just a quick post to share the club card we made at my club night this month.  Simple was the name of the game for this months card...

What do you think?  Even though it's simple and really quick to make, there are a lot of fun elements. I LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!  The "Sparkle" embossing folder.  You may overlook it, but it's such a fun design that goes with any card or project!

Suite Stampin' Success...Sept '16!

***LONG POST WARNING!!!*** (but it's a goodie!)

I just realized I haven't posted about this BIG demonstrator training event my friend and I did the beginning of September.  We have started doing these events twice a year.  They are SO MUCH FUN!  These events are so inspiring and uplifting...and I may even be so overcome while there that I cry.  Hee.  It's about time I share some of this meeting with you!  Want to see how much fun we have?!

First of all...look at this fun group...

Amazing group of people right here.  These were the attendees at this last session.  My heart was so full being with these amazing people!

First up....when they came in...they needed to check-in here...with our cute check-in helpers!

Who wouldn't feel welcomed by those smiling faces?!  :-) Here's a close-up of the welcome sign...

Now....we could just go with the sticky generic "Hello my name is..." name tags, right?!  Well not at this event!  I want everyone that comes to feel special and valued, BECAUSE THEY ARE!  And that starts with seeing their name like this...

How fun are these?! We even had two different versions...

So fun, right?!  It even lead to a funny moment between Wendy and I (the hosts of this event!) when we realized we were wearing the wrong name tags!...

We can get a little crazy during the day.  :-)

Now let me share some pictures of the room...

This was our "table side of the room...

I should of gotten a picture of the bigger view of the room.  And more up-close pictures of the tables. SORRY!  (But these days are a little crazy so I'm glad I took what I did!) There were about 10 tables set up just like this.  The center had a piece of Candy Cane Lane Designer Series Paper, a pop-up trash bin, and scattered pines (cut out from the Pretty Pines Thinlits) around the pop-up bin.  Then each spot had a printed agenda for the day, decorated water bottle, and fun empty treat bag that they could take over to our popcorn bar!  (Keep scrolling to see that!!)

Here are the empty treat bags...

Then here was the make and take area of the room...

There are lots of fun stamping projects happening at this event!  :-)  And for our snack for the day, we did a Popcorn Bar with a bunch of mix-in's...

This event would be nothing but a pretty room without the FABULOUS people that were there!  So.....want to see some pics of some amazing people that were here?! (You also can get better views of the whole room too.  :-) ) Well, of course you do, right?!  :-)  Here you go...

Oh I love these people!  During the day, we also did a goal ornament to go with our theme.  After our FABULOUS speakers...we had everyone write a goal down and hang on our Christmas tree...

Oh...and here is a bit of a close-up of the themed banner for the event...

And I think that's a wrap!  What do you think?!  Want to join my team and come to one of these amazing events?!  Already a demonstrator and want to come to one?!  Just let me know and I can give you more details!  :-) Hope you enjoyed these pics and can use them for inspiration for your own crafting projects!  Let me know if you have any questions: designwithink@gmail.com.

Thanks for visiting!!
