Up & Away Gift Bag...

It doesn't matter what the gift is, as long as it's in cute packaging--right?!  :-)  Hee.  Well, I certainly still try to give good gifts--AND I try to give them wrapped all cute!  In this case...I just simply made a fun tag to go on a gift bag...

ColorsReal Red, Dapper Denim, Gold, Whisper White
Cardstock/PapersReal Red, Whisper White, Gold Glimmer Paper
StampsLift Me Up
ToolsBig Shot, Up & Away Thinlits, Stars Framelits
Accessories: Whisper White Thick Baker's Twine

What do you think?  Hard to see the fun detail of the balloon...so here you go...

Kinda fun, right?!  This was a quick and simple tag to make, but really steps the gift packaging up so much.  And that Glimmer Paper...oh man!!!  So beautiful and shimmery in real life!

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

Balloon Adventure Fun...

A quick card today sharing the Balloon Adventures stamp set and Balloon Pop-Up's...

The Balloon Pop-Up Thinlit is so much fun and makes a fun pop-up for the inside of the card.  However...you can also use the pop-up part to make a fun card front...which is what I did here.

Just cut out the Emerald Envy piece and then punch some balloons with the Balloon Bouquet punch and adhered it to the cardstock piece.  So fun and easy!

I kinda love this card and want to make it in other colors and using different designer papers too!  So many ways to make this card!

But this one is pretty fun and love this color combo and paper! (Party Animal Designer Series Paper)

Succulent Love...

Who loves succulents?!  I know I do!!!!  Seriously love them!  And using the "Oh So Succulent" bundle makes making paper succulents a breeze!  Best part--they never die!  (I don't have a green thumb at all...more like a brown thumb cause that is what color plants turn under my care, sadly.)

I want to share a couple ways to incorporate succulents into your home decor.  We made this at the last Suite Stampin' Success Meeting I posted about HERE.  These were part of our make and takes...

SO fun, right?!  First up...here is a love frame...

Shimmery gold letters, fun Old Olive succulent...just so much to "love" about this!  :-)  This was a quick project to make also, and you could totally make other words.  Just frame some "Succulent Garden" designer paper and then add the letters and flower to the glass of the frame.  And voila!  A fun piece of home decor!  (P.S....the Large Letter Framelits are a bit pricy...I know.  However...I use them ALL the time and really are so worth it! They are a great item to grab during Sale-A-Bration because just buying them would almost earn you 2 FREE Sale-A-Bration items!)

ToolsBig Shot, Succulent Framelit Dies, Large Letters Framelits
Accessories: Gold 1/4" Natural Trim Ribbon, Frame

Now let's talk about the succulent planter.   Have to admit...LOVE this planter.  The box it sits in, the fun succulents on top...I just love it!  What do you think?!

So much fun!  The planter is actually the Popcorn Box Thinlit, and just did a little alteration to make it perfect for the succulents.  I'm thinking about teaching a class on making this...what do you think?!

I hope you enjoy these projects!  There are so much fun to make!   Let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to order any of the supplies to make these projects (or any other project! :-) ) ... designwithink@gmail.com.

Suite Stampin' Success ... Cupcakes & Carousels Carnival!!!

Last weekend...I was a little busy.  It was time for another "Suite Stampin' Success" meeting!!!  These are demonstrator training events that my friend and I put on.  Any demonstrator (or anyone thinking about being a demo) is welcome...we love doing these events!

The theme for this event was a carnival...based on the Cupcakes & Carousels suite in the Occasions Catalog.  The colors, the paper, etc...so much fun!!!!

Want to see how these events work?  Well be prepared for photo overload!  We had a fabulous photographer snapping pictures throughout the day....so here we go!

First up...look at these fun people that came.  My heart is full just seeing all these faces!

So fun right!

In case you want to see that banner above the heads (and it was centered over the actual fire place) up-close...

If you've followed my blog at all, you know that I LOVE BANNERS!!!  They make things so festive and fun, and I just love them!!!!!

Here is what greeting people when they first walked in to check-in...

I always like to have fun name tags, instead of just boring "Hello My Name Is" ones.  :-)  It helps bring in the theme and to help people feel special...because they are!!!

So fun, right?!  Here is a pic of some cute people that attended where you can see the name tags better...

(We also have Stampin' famous people that come to our events!  This gals is a Stampin' Up! powerhouse!!!)

Here is how the room looked all festive and fun...

And here is a close-up shot of the table...

Everyone had decorated water bottle, popcorn, and even some festive cotton candy!

And a close-up of each seat...

 And close-up's of the centerpieces...

So fun, right?!  We also had a pretty festive tree all set-up...

And honestly this was probably my fave part of the room.  Look at this banner swag over this window that takes up a huge part of one of the walls...

I mean seriously....HOW FUN!  I think I will do this for every event cause I love it so much.  I just cut 2"x6" strips of paper from the Cupcakes & Carousels designer series paper and coordinating cardstock colors.  Then I used the Triple Banner punch to punch the banner end.   Then just sewn together!  It really didn't even take very long...I did it the night before the event!  A fun and festive way to keep that theme going!

Along with the carnival theme...I made a Prize Board for the Door Prizes...because that just screams carnival fun, right?!  :-)  Here is the prize board....

I didn't get pictures of lunch, but we did a nachos with all the toppings: shredded pork, salsa, queso, guacamole, etc.  We have a FABULOUS gal that does our lunch.  And her helper!  Why...here they are!!!

Now, of course, make and takes are an important part of this event.  And we had fabulous ones designed for them (those will be highlighted in another post so stay tuned for that!!!)  Here is the other side of the room from our tables...where our make and takes were set up...

I also made this fun "Photo Frame" prop that people could take pictures with.  It was well loved and a ton of fun to use.   So here are a couple shots with that.  First up...here I am (I am on the right) with my partner in crime for these events, Wendy Knowles....

Then here I am with my direct team members that were there.  This is one FABULOUS group of gals that I am honored to be a part of!!!! ....

Up next are our presenters that we had throughout the day!  These people demonstrated and gave business tips and filled us with inspiration...

And then one of me and my good buddy (that I didn't meet until we did these meetings and he lives less than a mile from me!!!)...

Then here I am with my friend that flew out from CA just to come to this event!!!

And then just to show you some more group shots of some of the fabulous people in attendance...

We seriously had such a great day!  Doing these events fills my cup and warms my heart!  If you want to hear more about them...feel free to follow us on our Facebook group: Suite Stampin' Success!  We can't wait until the next one!

Let me know if you have any questions!  Or if you would like more information on how you can attend!  And again....stay tuned for more details on our make and takes and stuff!  Thanks for visiting!!!

TGIF C - 95 Swirly Bird For the Win...

Friday already?!  Crazy!  This week's challenge is an inspiration challenge.

Use this challenge to be inspired!  Use the colors, make something with birds, feathers, etc...whatever inspires you!

Want to see what I made?!  Well here you go...

I've been making a lot of stuff with the "Cupcakes & Carousels" suite...so those colors were on my brain.  Love them!  I have to admit for this card...I want to re-make it and change a few things.  However...I love the colors!

Here are a few close-up pictures of the details...

I LOVE the Swirly Bird stamp set!  Oh man...so much fun!  It's nice to reach for a set from the Annual Catalog that I haven't used in awhile.

So what are you going to make for this week?!  Head on over the the CHALLENGE BLOG to play along this week!  Let me know if you have any questions on this card! designwithink@gmail.com
