Stampin' Up! Artisan Blog Hop March 2019: Classic Garage!

Artisan Blog Hop Time!!!  Are you SOOOO excited?!  Is this your first stop or did you just come from the fabulous Angela?!  If you have already begun hopping around this hop...welcome!!!  If you are just getting started...yay!  We have lots of amazing creations to share with you!!!

This hop is all about the Classic Garage Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Occasions Catalog!  🙌 This is such a fun suite with so much goodness!  :-)  I used the Geared Up Garage Stamp Set (# 148590) and the Garage Gears Dies (#148521),  I used these along with the Classic Garage Designer Series Paper (#148142) & the Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon (#148146).   Here's a peek at what I made:

I have to admit...those gears dies HAVE. MY. HEART!  They are so much fun and there are SO many things you can do with them!!!  Have you used them yet?!

ColorsWhisper White, Gray Granite, Tranquil Tide
Ink Pads: Gray Granite, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Basic Black, Classic Garage Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Geared Up Garage
Tools: Big Shot, Garage Gears Dies, Rectangle Stitched Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Whisper White Embossing Powder, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon

I have to admit...I had a lot of fun using them this way.  Just cut out a few and adhered them to another piece of cardstock.  Kinda makes a fun texture, but more subtly.  I intend to do this more, and would be fun with lots of different colors!

I also had a great time making this box:

ColorsBasic Black, Tranquil Tide, Crushed Curry, Basic Gray
Ink Pads: Basic Gray, Staz On Black, Tranquil Tide
Cardstock/Papers Basic Black, Whisper White, Classic Garage Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Geared Up Garage
Tools: Big Shot, Garage Gears Dies, Stitched Shapes Dies, Simply Scored, Heat Tool
Accessories: Clear Embossing Powder, Black/Silver 1/4" Striped Metallic Ribbon, Whisper White 5/8" Flax Ribbon

The box is made from just one sheet of cardstock.  So easy!  Just cut in half (so you have two cardstock pieces of 5 1/2" x 8 1/2"), and then add some score lines.  These can vary--depending on the size of box that you want.  I scored mine at (with the 8 1/2" side at the top of the Simply Scored Board) 3 1/2" & 4 3/4"  Then rotate your cardstock 90 degrees and score at 1 1/2" & 4".  Then you just cut on your score lines to make tabs to put your box together and then adhere it all together.  (Let me know if you have any questions!!!)

The fun focal point was a lot of fun to make.  And if you are strictly a card maker, you could easily turn this into a card!

I had so much fun playing with all these fun products!  (That watercolored car...swoon!!!  😍😍😍) What is your favorite part?!  Have you played with these products yet?!  If not...let me know how I can help you get them in your hands!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us!  I can't wait for you to see what else is in store!  So make sure you click through the whole hop to discover all the paper goodies that await you!  😁  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!  I'm just a quick message away!  Look forward to hearing from you!
