Digital Fun...Three Ways!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday!!! I just wanted to quickly share some fun ways to use the new My Digital Studio software. It really is a lot of fun and so easy to use. This first card was done in the software, and just printed out using Stampin' Up!'s printer. I didn't make any changes to it after it was printed...it's a straight digital card...
Here is a view from the side so you can see it is just a flat card. Super easy to mass produce and flat to mail! Yet still can have your design style to it.
This next card is called a "hybrid" card. I had this card printed, but left off the ribbon and the scalloped saying. That way, I could add these embellishments myself....to combine digital and traditional....AKA hybrid. Here is that card...
A side view so you can see the ribbon (I just punched a small hole on the side so I could fit my ribbon around the card and still tie in the front) and the saying, that is up on dimensionals...

I really loved this because I LOVE using traditional elements and that is never going to change! :) But I love doing digital stuff as well...and it's fun to change the size of the stamps/punches/etc to fit whatever you need it to!
Then this last card is done by just using the layout I designed with the software. I made this entire card by hand...nothing was printed out. This card went together SO FAST because I didn't have to fuss with the design at all! Saved me a LOT of paper in the process! Here is the card...
I was also able to emboss the flowers....which added a fun touch. And I changed the pattern of the Crushed Curry Designer Series Paper to use up a scrap that I had already. Here is a close-up as well...
I LOVE using this software as a design help! I am having a lot of fun finding uses for this software. It can help in my crafting in so many different ways!
Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions!!!

Halloween Treat...

You are going to be SO JEALOUS! Yesterday my friend told me she had something to bring me for Halloween. Well she comes over and brings THIS...
Look HOW CUTE and totally YUMMY this looks! Fun Halloween popcorn in such a CUTE wrapping!! I know....I'm so lucky. :) This is a clear paint can, and then she just decorated the lid. Here is the top...
She used that yummy Rockability paper, and that SUPER fun skeleton from the "Scary Skeleton" set. She stamped him with Whisper White Craft ink and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder. TOO CUTE! Here is a close-up of the yummy popcorn (well...assuming it's super yummy. Right now I'm debating opening it because it looks SO CUTE! But my family is bugging me about it so I am sure it will be opened soon. :) But I had to at least get pictures first for sure! :) )
I was so excited to get this. I have lots of ideas for these clear paint cans now. :)
Thanks for visiting!

A Little Hi and Some Fun!

Just a few cards to show you today. I was playing in my stamp room the other day (having some "therapy" time for myself. :) This is where I have no real "purpose" for my stamping...just having fun) and made this card. I got the layout idea from a Stampin' Success magazine. (This is a magazine that is sent to us demonstrators for FREE from Stampin' Up! Gotta love them! :) ) I thought it was fun and wanted to try it. It's not the exact layout, but basically the same. Here is my card...
And just a bit of a close-up for you. The "hi" letters are chipboard letters. I covered the with Basic Black Craft ink and then embossed them with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. They are sparkly in real life! :) Also...my friend was over stamping the other day, and she had brought a few cards to show me. On one of them she had punched out some circle punches using different patterns from one package of Desiger Series Paper. It looked so cute and I wanted to try it. So I did that on this card. I used Rich Razzleberry Patterns papers. Anyway: on to the close-up...
The stamp set I used is called "Central Park." I really love this one. It is actually not in the catalog right now, but is on the dorment list. So you can still order it. It's FABULOUS! :)
I had so much fun with that card that I wanted to make another one using different stamps. So this one uses the "Paradise" stamp set in the main catalog. I LOVE this one! And then I did this one on Kraft... And I used the word "fun" instead of the "hi" phrase. Same chipboard letters, except this time they are in Chocolate Chip and just clear embossing powder. A bit of a close-up...

Anyway...I hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

"Flipping" Out About Halloween...

This project is SO MUCH FUN! Seriously.....awesome! A fabulous stamper (and friend!), Kasia, showed everyone at our training a few weeks ago how to make these albums. Then last night I had a Girl's Night Out last night with a few friends. We went to this dinner theater show called Witchapalooza, and I wanted to give them a little present. I decided that one of these albums would be what I made for them. (I know...you probably don't care about this story. :) ) Anyway: here is the Halloween themed album...

This is the cover. Now...the house is quite fun in real life. It's embossed and then the whole white piece is sprayed with shimmer spray that I made with the Shimmer Paints that are in the Mini catalog and Rubbing Alcohol. Hard to get a picture of, but so sparkly in real life. Here is a bit of a close-up though...
Ok...now this is how the book works and what makes it so cool. Look at the picture below and notice that Basic Black tab? Well all you do is pull that and then the pages just keep flipping until you see all the pages. Here is what you get when you first open the book...
Then pull the tab a little and it flips to this...
Pull a little more and get this...
Little more...
Little more...

And finally... It's hard to get the total coolness that it is in pictures. But trust me...it's awesome! Thanks for visiting. I hope you enjoy! Have a FABULOUS Halloween week! :)

Birthday Tag Fun...

Just a fun and quick project to share with you today. It's a book of tags. Here is the front of the book...
And then a side view. You can see it's held closed with ribbon.
Then you open it up and there are 4 pockets for tags. I have 8 total tags in here. All birthday themed. I just used the "Happy B-day" Simply Scrappin' Kit. Everything I used came from that kit, except for the ribbon and Twine on top of the tags. These kits are so fabulous and make projects SO QUICK and easy!
Here is a picture of all the tags...
Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!

Cards Galore...

I know it's been cards galore this week. Here are some more! I hope you are getting inspiration from them and I'll have some more 3D items and other stuff soon! :) These are some swaps I received at the meeting I went to. Do we have GREAT stampers in our group or WHAT?! :) First card up...
HOW GORGEOUS and shimmery and sparkly is THIS CARD?!?!? Love it! It was done by Mindy. She used Heat and Stick powder to get the glitter on the black snowflakes and then a band of sticky strip at the bottom. LOVE the silver card stock as well. This card actually one 1st place in our swap contest! (I think...or was it 2nd?! Either way...FABULOUS!) Here's a close-up...
Love that sparkle!!! :)
This next card has gone embossed crazy! She used an embossing plate to get the embossed background. Then the outlined ornaments are silver embossed, as well as the main ornament on the page and the greeting. LOVE this! I believe this card won 3rd place in our contest.

Here's a close-up. I can't remember the stamper of this card. Please let me know if you know so I can credit her! :)
This next card was done with the FABULOUS Medallion stamp and the "Poppin' Pastels" technique. This is done when you stamp an image in VersaMark and then use either a sponge dauber or sponge or applicator or whatever to apply different colors all over it. The colors "POP" out and they are fabulous! Love this card. It was stamped by Janice.
Here is a close-up of the fabulous colors...
This next card is so cute as well. (See...I told you we have great stampers in our group! :) ) I love the colors of this next card, as well as the butterfly, the punched edge, the ribbon, love it all! :) This was stamped by Kasia...
Oh yeah...I love the 3x6 size cards as well! Too cute! Here is a close-up of the butterfly so you can see the different layers that she used...
This last card is so cute as well! It was done by Mandy. TOO CUTE! Love these colors and I believe she did Poppin' Pastels as well. Seriously....love this whole card too...too cute!!!...
Here is a close-up of the different fabulous colors...
I hope you enjoyed these cards! Thanks for visiting! Happy stamping! :)

Christmas Anyone?!

Wanted to share a few cards with you that can help you get some Christmas creative juices flowing. I know Halloween isn't even here yet, but come on?! Who doesn't love getting a head start on the holidays?! :) Here are just a few fun Christmas cards.

Using the "Wandering Words" stamp set again. This is again one of the 25 cards we made at that mega card night I've already talked about. I love this stamp set...

Just use markers to color in the different pieces on the stamp and get a multi-colored image. I love all the different strips of Designer Series Paper. Too cute!
This card was one of the swaps I received. The Designer Series Paper she used came from the Simply Scrappin' Kit, Christmas Jingle. I think this card is so cute!
Here is a close-up of a fun detail. I love that she folded the corner down to show the other side of the paper. Then added that fun flower element. Too cute!!!
Now look at these fun snowmen!!! This set is called "Snow Buddies" and it's in the mini catalog. This is a Hostess Only stamp set. I think these guys are SO CUTE!!!! (If you would like to host a workshop or a catalog party so that you can get this one...just let me know!) Seriously...I love them!! This was another one of the cards we made that night.
The Designer Series paper is from the "Holiday Lounge" pack. Here's a bit of a close-up of these snow buddies...
Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!!!
