Love all the fonts in this set! And I wanted to sometimes be able to use just the "thanks" part of the stamp, and not the specific occasion on the stamp. SOOOOOO...here's a little tip. Cut apart your stamp! I have this stamp set in clear mount so I just cut the stamp apart and use just part of it if I need or mount on the same block and use together again.
But then I wanted to use the whole sentiment on another card, so just use the whole stamp again. (My husband is getting this card! My birthday was last month, and he went above and beyond to make it a special day for me.) ...
Colors: Bermuda Bay, So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Cardstock/Papers: So Saffron, Calypso Coral, Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Balloon Celebration, All Things Thanks
Tools: Triple Banner Punch, Stapler, Aqua Painter
Accessories: Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim, Staples
Hope you enjoy this tip and card! :-) Try it out! Just make sure you use sharp scissors and be careful as you cut so you don't accidentally cut something you didn't mean to cut!
This card is also using the same colors from the TGIF Challenge for the week also! Love this color combo!
I have another tip for you on this card! It's stamped using the "Balloon Celebration" stamp set in the Annual Catalog. The fun little tip--this balloon bouquet is really fun and easy to do by simply "masking" the balloons that you want to be in the foreground of the card. To do this--just stamp the balloon onto the sticky part of a sticky note, cut it out, adhere over the one you stamped and want in the foreground, and then stamp the background balloon over the sticky note. Remove the sticky note and you have your cute background balloon!
Here is a picture that hopefully helps. :-) The yellow pieces are the sticky notes...
And here is another pic of those cute balloons...
P.S...the background is done on watercolor paper and using Bermuda Bay ink and an Aqua Painter. Just smoosh the ink pad lid into the ink pad before opening the ink pad, creating a pool of liquid in the lid of the ink pad. Open it up, pick up some color with the Aqua Painter, and color onto the Watercolor paper.
Hope you enjoy! Thank you so much for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions! Would love to know if these tips helped also! :-) designwithink@gmail.com
