Birdie Congrats...

First things first...I PROMISE I will get the measurements up for that card folder. I just haven't had time to do it yet. But after the comments I received and MANY emails I got....it sounds like you want them! :) So I will get them posted hopefully tonight. It's just been a few crazy busy days. In the meantime, I wanted to show you this card. My dear friend was over yesterday and we played with the punch for a minute. Well...I had this bird just sitting on my table and so I had to do something with it. So here is the card...with LOTS of new product that will be available on January 5th!!!! :) On to the card...
How cute is this bird?! It's one punch and it punches out the bird, the wing, and the branch! It's so awesome! Then look at that Pretty in Pink Satin ribbon! AHHHH!!!! LOVE LOVE!!! And then that "congratulations" sentiment is a new stamp set as well!!! So much fun!!! Here is a close-up of the sentiment because it's all pretty and embossed....
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting! :) Oh....and color combo is Kraft, Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Pretty in Pink! That's for you Pam! :)

Flower Bouquet That Lasts...

Here is another Christmas gift that I made this year. It's a set of 8 post card style cards with envelopes. A great place to write a quick note to tell someone you care. And all in a coordinating folder! The best part of this folder is my friend came over to stamp with me and she helped me make these!!!! So fun stamping with fun friends...that is the BEST! :) Here is the folder...
HOW much fun is this? Yes....I know....I can't stop using this color combo. It's Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, and Kraft. With a splash of Old Olive. :) I LOVE this one! Here is a close up of the flower bouquet...
They all have a corduroy button in the middle. The one on the Melon Mambo flower is Pretty in Pink. This color is one of the two new colors that will be offered in the NEW MINI that starts on January 5th! Let me know if you need one and I'll make sure I will get one to you! (Free of charge!) So I used a Chocolate Chip one, a Pretty in Pink one, and a Kraft one. LOVE these things! :) It is all held closed with a velcro piece. When you open it up, this is what you see...
And then when you take out the 8 cards and envelopes...
They are so simple but fabulous. :) I didn't put a sentiment on there so people could make it whatever they wanted it to be. Then here is a shot of just the notecard itself...
These folders really are so much fun to make. I don't have measurements here with me right now, but if you want them...just let me know and I'll get them to you!!! You just use one 8 1/2 x 11 cardstock piece to make the folder. A couple score lines and a little sticky strip is all it takes. :) Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoyed this project!

How Do You Package a Gift Card?

I know Christmas is over, but I have a SUPER quick project to show you that would be EASY to adapt to any other occasion. It is using the Magnetic Boxes that are shown in the Mini catalog. Here is what they look like... Remember...you have until JANUARY 4th to order anything out of the mini. And these are a MUST HAVE! Seriously....they are not just a cardstock box. They are SUPER sturdy (probably made of strong chipboard covered, and SO nicely made. Plus...these are on the GIFT GIVING GUIDE promotion that is still going on until January 4th as well!!!! Anyway....sorry to blab about these but seriously...I LOVE THEM! :) They are Chocolate Chip color and seriously....so fabulous! You get TWO boxes for just $4.95!!! Click HERE and HERE to see other projects I have done with these. And then this one below was how I packaged up a gift card this year...

HOW EASY and cute is this? I just added some Designer Series Paper and some ribbon on to make this look beautiful. Then tied one of the tags that we made at my Christmas Class on the box and VOILA! Fabulous and easy gift wrapping! Here is a side view...

And then inside I just made my own shredded paper to put the gift card on...
Again....SO EASY to do and SO FUN to receive. :) Sorry this is after Christmas! But you could easily change it to any occasion you need it for! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Christmas for my Club...

I should have shared this before Christmas, but better late than never...right?! :) Just wanted to share my Christmas gift to my club members. It was packaged in a Treat Box box from Stampin' Up!...
I LOVE these boxes and used these a lot this year. Here are some close-up's...
I embossed the "Merry Christmas" sentiment. It made it shiny....to match the box. :)
I also embossed "Dasher." I tried to leave him a little texture-y as I embossed him as well. I also used textured cardstock. (LOVE that stuff!) And then for the goods inside...
I gave them a sampling of one of my favorite Designer Series Papers, Cottage Wall. I also have some coordinating cardstock in there as well. Then I gave a sampling of ribbon in another bag and a sampling of accessories in another bag. I hope they enjoyed them and I know I loved giving them to them! :) Thanks for visiting! Hope you had a Merry Christmas and are still continuing your celebrations!

Tags Galore...

This Christmas season...my Two Tags Die got a work out. :) I made oodles of tags and have to admit...had a lot of fun. Even in the hectic holiday "get-ready" time....it was fun. Because they were so quick! Here are just a few of the different ones I made...

Here's a picture of some bunched together...
And here is another one. I have LOVED this Ornament set this year too. It's had quite a good workout as well. :) Here it is...
And some all bundled together...
Even if you are all done with Christmas wrapping...they would be so easy to change out with anything else and make an easy tag! Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!

Curly Label Is On The Move....

Still need a Christmas treat to give to someone? Have a quick one to share with you today! This one is using the Big Shot Movers and Shapers Curly Label die. I just started playing with this, and seriously...it is SO much fun! I should have taken a picture of the die itself because it's neat. It cuts out the whole card piece for you and has a magnetic movable piece so you can have that curly label window cut out wherever you want. Anyway....the die makes a card for you, but I turned it into this cute treat holder. Here it is...

Decorated with some of my fave Christmas Designer Series Paper, Merry Moments. Also used my fave ribbon this Christmas season....the Real Red Polka Dot! How I turned it from a card to a treat holder was just score about 1/2" on each side of the score line that the die makes. Then I put a couple snack size candy bars in a cello bag, and then attached that inside with staples. The ribbon covers up the staples. Here is a close-up of the window...
Then I used this fun "Merry Christmas" sentiment with the snowflake punch (with Rhinestone brad in the middle) to decorate.
Then here is a side view so you can see how it's all put together.
Hope you enjoy and have a use for this Christmas treat holder! Thanks for visiting!!! Let me know if you have any questions!

Teacher Gifts...

This year was my first year to do teacher gifts. My daughter started preschool this year! It's CRAZY! Time flies!!! But anyway. There isn't much stamping on these, but just wanted to share what I did this year. Let's be honest....it was a bit last minute. (Don't know why...but this year things have been SO BUSY and I just haven't had much time to do stuff.) Her teacher, Mrs. Ali, got a gift card to Target. What teacher wouldn't love that? I forgot to take a picture of the open tin, but here it is all decorated...
I had this circular tin for a long time now...forget where I ever bought it. But I just made some shredded paper for the inside and put the gift card on top. Then I decorated it using some Designer Series Paper (from the Merry Moments pack) and my Big Shot! That tag is done with the Two Tags die that is on sale (This die has gotten A LOT of use from me this year!!!! I've had too much fun with it!!! :) ) DON'T FORGET!!! TOMORROW is the last day to take advantage of the fabulous Big Shot sale!!!! CLICK HERE to read the details. Then I used some of my FAVE polka dot ribbon to tie it all closed, and I tied the ornament on to the bow. I think it turned out quite cute. Here are some close-up's...
There are also a few helpers in her classroom. So this is what I did for them...
A tin I had filled with some YUMMY seasonal Lindt truffle chocolates. Then tied some ribbon around the handle and gave them the same ornament I gave the teacher. I had a few of these to make.
I hope they liked them! They actually were quite fun to do! Thanks for visiting!

Corporate Thank You's...

I did this project a LONG time ago, finally getting around to sharing the photos. :) I have done a few projects in the past for my husband's employer. A few months ago the marketing guy asked me to do something else. This is the project that we did. First up...a thank you card to give with the gift...
The blurred part in the scallop is the company logo. I just blurred it for privacy reasons. Here is a close-up...
I got this layout from the catalog. See if you can find it! :) Then the gift...
It's a package of thank you cards of their very own! What could be more fun to get?! :) Hehe. They are going to give these to different companies they work with so they can give them to their clients. What means more than a handmade thank-you?! :) Here is a close-up of the package...
And the cards...
I kept these really simple and masculine because they are mostly going to men. Hope they like them! Here are some close-up's...
And all the cards that were in the package...
And then all ready to go...
Sad to say good-bye to them! :) Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

The Altered Bucket...

Just a quick project to share with you today. I found this white bucket in a clearance section of a local store. It had these metal handles on the bucket that were SO ANNOYING! They would get stuck and would be in the way and you couldn't move them, etc, etc. What's a girl to do but removed them and add some FUN RIBBON handles!!! Here is a shot...
After I added the handles, I decided to add a Decor Element on the bucket. I just took one of the words from the inspiration set in the catalog and added it to it. FYI...the Pretty in Pink Corduroy Brads are from the new mini that starts in January! (One of the perks of being a demo...you get to order the new products EARLY!!) I was so excited to use these for this project. Here is a close-up... Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Wrappin' Up...Stampin' Up! Style!

Since this is the season of giving, just wanted to share a quick way you can wrap your presents. For this one I just took a piece of Designer Series Paper and used that as my wrapping paper. Then used some ribbon from the Mini catalog and made a tag. (Man...I have to say....I have used this ornament set A LOT this year! It's a great one!!!) Here is the present...
And a close-up of the tag...
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

I love this Dasher and again...that sparkle is amazing!!!! Here is a close-up of the fabulousness...
Just wanted to share! Hope you are having a great holiday season!!! And I hope you aren't frantically running around trying to get everything done like I am! :) Hehe. Thanks for visiting!

Pretty Pennant...

In THIS POST I promised that I would show you some ideas with some of the dies that are on sale. So here are a few ideas using the Pennant Die. This die is SO MUCH FUN! Here is what it looks like...
All you do is fold your cardstock in half, place the FOLDED side right against the straight edge of the pennant, and run through your Big Shot. Then when it's cut out, you unfold it, and have your pennant! ALSO...I use the scallops that are on there ALL the time!! The 1 3/4" Circle fits perfectly on there, so I use it a whole lot. Anyway....last night we had a Christmas social for all the women in my church. I wanted to make a fun banner so this is the one I made...
Forgot to take a picture of it there, but I hung it in front of the food table. Don't know if you noticed...but "Christmas" is spelled out in all the scallops hanging from the bottom. Here is a close up of one of the pennants...
It really was fun to make and pretty quick as well. I also made one for a Princess Birthday Party the other weekend that my daughter was going to. (Forgot to take a picture of it....ooops!!) But it's so much fun to make your own customized banners. By the way....I used the large pennant (the one in the upper left corner of the picture of the die.) This die is great to do other things with as well! For this next project I used the smaller pennant. I ALSO used the Tulipe die on this next one (it's on sale as well!). Anyway...I cut out two pennants, and then sticky striped them together to make a pouch. Here is what I made...
HOW CUTE is this little Rudolf holder?! I actually made a large one of these last year for one of our club projects. They really are a blast to make and SO easy! Then a perfect pouch to put some treats in for anyone! Here is a close-up of his antlers, which is done with the Tulipe die. (I just cut out the piece I wanted.)
Then here it is hanging on my front door. How fun would he be to make and hang on kids doors with a surprise treat (you could do bookmarks, pencils, stickers, etc. to avoid the sugar) inside each morning during your countdown to Christmas. Or a great package for a gift card. There are TONS of things you can do with this!! Anyway...the picture...
He's just SO CUTE!! I hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Peace on Earth...

Just a quick card to share today. I LOVE this Serene Snowflakes stamp set from the Holiday Mini. It's so pretty. I love the largest snowflake in this set....it's a great focal point for a card as I used here...
I paired it up on this card with Designer Series Paper from the Christmas Cocoa pack. This paper is metallic-y looking and so pretty in real life. The card base is Soft Suede...looks really pretty with the paper. And I LOVE this ribbon...
Then in the center of the snowflake, I wanted some more "pop" of red to tie in the ribbon. So I used a Build-A-Brad. These are great. I just punched a 1/2" circle out of Real Red textured cardstock, and put it on the brad base. Add the clear bubble on top and have a customized brad! They are fun! Here is a close-up...
I hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!
