So here is another small re-do of a swap I received at Founder's Circle. This is the swap I received:

( I got this photo from Dawn's site. Thank you! I forgot to take a picture of this one before I uploaded my other pics to my computer. Oops! Thanks Dawn!)

And then here is my swap that I did. I just basically switched the colors and ribbon. But here it is:
This is how it opens....the inside of the card is where the greeting is.
Hope you enjoy!!! Happy Day after Thanksgiving! :)

All By Myself...

Well I am sure most of you will laugh...but I'm so excited. I made this box all by myself. :) I figured out the measurements and put it together all by myself. See....I had a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups that I wanted to make something for. So I just thought I would whip a customized box up to fit them in. I also wanted to make a few different designs. This is what I came up with....

I used a bunch of different stamp sets and such so let me know if you have any questions of what I used or anything.

Better Late than Never...right?!

Ok....so I talked about a card making night in THIS POST and I told you I would share the other cards soon. Well, I kinda forgot and never did. I remembered this today, so thought I would share a few with you. Here are some of them. They were all darling cards! We have some very talented stampers in my upline/sideline groups of Stampin' Up!

I LOVE this stamp set! This card was designed by Sherri. This card was designed by Mandy. I don't have a blog for her, but she is GREAT! These little guys took a long time to color, but HOW CUTE are they?! :)

This one was designed by Kasia. She is SO GOOD! I love all her stuff!

And HOW CUTE are the Twigster's?! I LOVE this stamp set, and thought it was SO CLEVER to make a Mrs. Twigster for sweet Mr. Twigster. :) This was designed by Melanie. I don't have a blog for her either, but she's super talented as well.
Well I hope this helps to begin to make up for me not posting these sooner. Aren't they cute! We made lots more cute ones, and hopefully I will remember to post the rest in the near future! :) I hope you enjoy!

Card Holder Direction Information....

Hey there all! I have received a lot of email requests about the directions for the Always and the Christmas themed card holders seen here and here. I am sorry but I am not able to post the directions for these projects. I got the directions from UStamp and agreed that I wouldn't post these kinds of things when I signed up. Out of respect to their hard work in putting UStamp together, I don't think it's fair for me to do that. I'm SO SORRY!! Please don't be mad. :) I would recommend signing up for UStamp to anyone, if you wanted to do that. :) If you do sign up....tell them I sent you! :)

Thanks! SO SORRY! (And also sorry I've been a bit silent lately. Had my big Holiday Extravaganza yesterday so I was SWAMPED doing stuff for that. I will post soon!

Christmas Themed Card Holder

I had a lot of fun making my Always Card Holder that I showed in this post, so I thought I would try a Christmas one. I forgot to take a picture of all the elements inside the pouch, outside of the pouch. There are 4 cards, 4 envelopes, and a pen. You could even easily throw some stamps in there and have an even more completed kit. :) But....all the card have different Designer Series Paper so they look a bit different. But I forgot to take a picture of all of them! Sorry! Here are the pics I did get. Hope you enjoy!
(Ok...so this crooked ribbon is DRIVING ME NUTS! Too bad I didn't see it before I snapped the pic, uploaded it to my computer, and cropped it. If I had....I would have taken another. :) Sorry!)

Snowman Soup...

Ok...so how prepped was I to have SO MANY POSTS while I was gone! :) What I didn't consider...how BUSY I would be when I got back so I should probably prep for some then too. :) But I didn't....so it's been awhile since you've heard from me. Sorry!

I have the cutest thing to share with you. I love little packets like this. And I KNOW....we've probably all seen them all over the place. So sorry I can't give credit to the original creator of this. The one I just saw recently that sparked my brain and reminded me I wanted to try these is over on Chic n' Scratch's blog. At my big Holiday Extravaganza event THIS Saturday (I might have a few kits left if anyone is interested in purchasing one), we are having a boutique there. So I decided to make some of these to sell. I think they would be perfect gifts for a neighbor, friend, co-worker, etc, etc. They are TOO CUTE! I think it really is cuter in person, as most things are. Enjoy! Oh...I included a picture of the back because that is where I put my poem. I changed it a bit from Angie's, but not too much. Enjoy!

Mini Winter Treat...

Season's Greetings! Here's another project with that fabulous Frosty Days Designer Series Paper. I've had these tins for awhile and I figured it was finally time to do something with them. What better than decorate it with some stamping and paper and fill it with chocolate?! :) It actually fits 4 snack size Snickers bars perfectly. I was going to use M&M's but when I give candy as gifts, I like to use pre-packaged candy. The germaphobe in me. :) Anyway: this is so simple and easy. I'm probably going to add some ribbon or something, but it is what it is now. :)

CD Folder Scrapbook

So HOW FABULOUS is this book/scrapbook?! I LOVE it! I saw this on Patty Bennett's blog and fell in love. Of course I had to buy her tutorial and give it a try. How cute is this?! I made mine with the Frosty Days Designer Series Paper. I LOVE this paper...I think it's a fun color scheme that isn't so Christmas-y. Gives me a little variety since I start prepping for Christmas so early! :) I realize these probably aren't the best photos and don't show the beauty of this project well enough. However, I took these photos earlier in the day, before I lost my good lighting, and now it's late at night (I'm in the middle of scheduling quite a few posts to be posted while I'm gone on vacation) and I can't retake good ones. I hope it makes sense at least a little. It really is a SUPER fun project and gives you a GREAT sense of accomplishment when you finish it! :) Hope you love it too!

Baby Wipe...Christmas Style!

First of all....let me say that I LOVE the hostess set, "Deer Friends." It is ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS and SO HAPPY they came out with it! : ) I have been using this one a lot. Why?! Because it fits the scallop punch and my circle punches! (I'm in love with anything that does that for me. :) ) Anyway: this mini 3x3 card is one I demoed at a workshop. I LOVE the baby wipe technique. You can do a few different things with a few re-inkers and a baby wipe. HERE is one way you can use those items. All I did on this card though was
  • Fold your baby wipe in half a few times so you get a think "pad" of baby wipe.
  • Add a few drops of your re-inkers colors next to each other on the baby wipe. (You can leave space in between if you would like white space or not...whatever you would prefer.)
  • Wipe the baby wipe across your card stock, going whichever way you like. You could even do swervey lines or a plaid pattern or whatever!

This is a great way to make your own Designer Series Paper. Let me know if you have any questions. I can take some pictures of what I'm talking about if this doesn't make sense. Just let me know! :) (A close-up of the baby wipe stripes. This is TOO MUCH FUN! Try it out and let me know so I can see what you do! :) )

Fun and Fast Christmas Card...

It's MERRY CHRISTMAS time again! Here is a VERY simple card. I was trying to come up with some simple Christmas cards, and this was one I came up with. Definitely NOT my fave, but have to show you my non fave things, along with my fave, right?! :) I think, going back, I would add some sparkle somewhere. Maybe use Iridescent Ice embossing powder all over the tree piece? Hmmmmm....trying to keep simple and easy to mass product. But what can I say?! I love to add sparkle. Resist...resist! :)

(I wanted to show you that I scalloped the bottom of the card and then added a strip of Designer Series Paper on the inside. So you can see it from the outside of the card, but there is also some color now on the inside.)

Stamps: Fun and Fast Notes, All Holiday

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Summer Sun

Card Stock: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive

Accessories: Riding Hood Red Designer Series Paper, Button Bouquet, Linen Thread, Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain ribbon

Is it Christmas Time Already?!

I know we just finished Halloween, however I LOVE making Christmas things! So I'm getting started. :) I have a few Christmas themed cards/projects to share throughout this week, so look out! (By the way...this is my first post that I am scheduling to post while I'm gone on vacation. I'm hoping that this works since this is my first time doing this. If this works....I'm trying to give you enough new ideas so you don't even know I'm gone! :) If it doesn't work....I'll catch you up when I get back! :) )

This is a scrapbook fashioned after one we did on my Founder's Circle trip I took in September. Ours was using the new set we received, seen here, so I decided to do a Christmas one. When I saw this stamp set, "Holly, Jolly Christmas," in the catalog, I HAD to have it. I believe it was on my very first order I placed the first day we could order. :) And so now I'm trying to put it to good use. :) I hope you can tell how this works from the pictures. Basically, you open up the cover and you have your first page in front of you. Then it's all folded together, so by folding out that first page, you uncover all the pages! Also...the Santa on the cover is all dimensionalized. (Is that a word?! It is now! :) ) And sparkly. I stamped him on the cover, and then on a scrap piece. I cut the one on the scrap piece out in pieces and used dimensionals to give it some....well...dimension. :) It is SO MUCH FUN to make so I hope you enjoy...

Accordian Scrapbook...

So here we have an accordion scrapbook. I saw this on UStamp Holidays. I had to try it when I saw it. I thought it was too cute. However...since this was the first time I made it...I made it with a retired Simply Scrappin' Kit. Turns out...I did NOT get good pics of it to show you how fun it is. However....it's too late now and bad lighting, so it isn't even worth trying to get new ones. I'll try again when I get back in to town. :) It really is fun though so I still wanted to share! The covers are the Chipboard Small Book Basics.
This entire thing is done from scratch. It's constantly amazing to me HOW MUCH you can make from some stamps, paper, and card stock! Amazing! :) Enjoy!
