EEK!!! Halloween Decor!!!

Just stopping by quickly to share a fun Halloween project I made for my fireplace mantle.  I didn't want to even decorate this year...life has been so busy and I just didn't really care.  (Anyone else ever feel that way?!)  However...my kids kept asking when we would decorate.  After a few times of them asking... I decided that I could go through my decor and get rid of stuff I didn't want anymore while I was in the process of deorating.  😀  (We have been trying to clear out and just get rid of extra stuff we don't need to have around.) That was a win-win...so Halloween decor happened!  Hee.  However...when I went to do my mantle...I had an idea for something that I wanted to put up.  I just didn't own it.  SOOOOOO...to my craft room!!  Want to see what I made?! ...

(Thanks to my cutie daughter for helping the photo process!  💗)

Colors:  Whisper White, Lemon Lime Twist, Gorgeous Grape, Basic Black
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, 2017-2019 In Color 12" x 12" Cardstock, Basic Black, Gorgeous Grape, Shimmery White, Animal Expedition Designer Series Paper
Stamps: NONE!
Tools: Big Shot, 2 1/4" Circle Punch, Large Letters Framelits, Stitched Seasons Framelits (retired)
Accessories:  NONE!

What do you think?!  I kinda am in love.  I LOVE the clean, bright colored, lots of white space look.  It pretty much makes my heart happy.  The background is just a piece of Lemon Lime Twist cardstock (12"x12").  Then I punched out some circles from Lemon Lime Twist Designer Series Paper (from the Animal Expedition paper) and just added them to the background...

Now let's chat for a minute.  One of my MOST USED ITEMS EVER have been these Large Letter Framelits.  They. Are. Fantastic.  I call them out a little, because they are a pricey item.  However...WELL worth it!!  Please let me know if you have any questions about them!

What do you think of the frame?!  This was so quick and easy to whip up.  And it got to be just what I wanted it to be, in the colors I wanted it to be.  Do you ever reach for your papercrafting supplies when decorating?!  I do ALLLLLLLLL the time.  Here is the fun frame up on my mantle...

I obviously don't do "spooky" decor for Halloween.  My kids have never loved it, and I scare super easy.  😂  So still festive...just not so spooky.  And as you can see...love the white look in my home decor also.

I would love to see how you decorate your home!!!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

TGIF Challenge 183 ... Washi & Twine Awesomeness:

It's time for a product spotlight for our TGIF Challenge this week!  Woot!!!! 🙌  I seriously LOVE being on this Design Team.  If you haven't played along with us before, this is a fun and easy week to start!  And if you have played before...you will love this challenge!

Before I tell you what the challenge is, I want to see if you have any guesses as to what product we are spotlighting.  Here is the card I made:

ColorsBlueberry Bushel, Mango Melody, Gray Granite, Whisper White
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White,Blueberry Bushel
Stamps: En Route
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits
Accessories:  Linen Thread, Best Route Washi Tape, Best Route Enamel Shapes

Soooooo...any guesses?!??!?!  Well if you guessed...

...then you are correct!  This card kind of appeared in my mind when I saw the challenge...and it pretty much came out how I pictured!  I call that a WIN! because that does NOT happen that way for me usually.  Hee.  😀

So the background stripes I did with Washi Tape!!!  So easy!  I completely eyeballed it--no measuring here!!!  And just layed them down over a piece of 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White cardstock.  I ripped the Washi longer than the cardstock...so the ends were going over the ends of the cardstock.  Then just folded it back to the back of the cardstock to give it a nice finished look (and ensures the Washi won't peel up at all!!  Another win!)

This washi pack is from the "Best Route" suite.  (As are the enamel shapes...they are the "Best Route" enamel shapes.)  I LOVE to travel so I LOVE this suite!  So much fun!  And I LOVE this greeting on the card.  Because I fully believe this!  Taking care of YOU is so important!!!  (Even if the "Awesome" thing you get done that day is spending 5 mins alone in quiet time that you give yourself. 😀)

And I use twine in probably almost every project I make.  I LOVE the texture it adds, without adding a lot of bulk.  I keep a pretty heavy stash of this Linen Thread on hand at all times.  Hee.

The inside was fun to do also.  Just took another fun greeting and stamped a few of the images in the corner.  Just a fun bonus when they open the card!

I hope you enjoy this challenge!  Can't wait to see what you make!  Head on over the the challenge blog: TGIF Challenges, to submit your entry!!!!

Please let me know if you have any questions or need help getting any fabulous Stampin' Up! supplies!

Grateful Heart with Falling Leaves...

Have you used the "Falling for Leaves" bundle from Stampin' Up! yet?!  If you haven't...you need to.  Like right away.  😀  It. Is. So. Gorgeous.  Now let it be known...I don't love fall like most people.  It's a fine season...but summer has my heart.  So it's a bit of a let down for me to lose the summer weather when fall hits.  So for me to say I love something that is "fall" themed...well...you know it's good.  Hee.  This card actually looks a bit more spring-y...but that's fine by me!  💕  I don't think you HAVE to stick with traditional colors all the time.  What do you think?!

ColorsCrumb Cake, Flirty Flamingo, Soft Seafoam, Whisper White
Cardstock/PapersCrumb Cake, Whisper White, Flirty Flamingo, Soft Seafoam, Brights Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Falling For Leaves, Waterfront (splatter image)
Tools: Big Shot, Detailed Leaves Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Layering Circles Framelits
Accessories:  Linen Thread, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Look at all the fun layers to this card...yet it's pretty simple.  I LOVE this detailed edge (just done with one of the framelits from the bundle)...

And a better look at this leaf framelit...that I am COMPLETELY swooning over!!!!  😍😍😍

And I love that greeting.  I will be using that a bunch this season.  Want one more look at the full card?!  Well here you go!!!

(AHHHHHHH!!!  I just noticed one of my sequins fell off for it's photo shoot!  I'm so sorry!  There was a third sequin on there!  Hope you didn't notice.  😀)

I hope you enjoy this card!  Please let me know how I can help you!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Witchy Halloween...

Are you all ready for Halloween?!  What fun crafts do you make for this season?!  I love having cards around that I can tie to a bag of treats for teachers, friends, neighbors, your sweetheart, etc.  Here is a fun card to do just that with:

ColorsLemon Lime Twist, Gray Granite, Basic Black, Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather
Cardstock/Papers Shimmery White, Gray Granite, Basic Black, Vellum Cardstock, Daffodil Delight, Toil & Trouble Designer Series Paper

Love this hat & when it's stamped on Shimmery White cardstock:--I love it even more!

Have you used the Blends Markers yet?!  If not...you really need to!  😀  They. Are. My. Favorite.

And just a little tip...buy a stamp set with a fun splatter stamp!  The splatter over these ghosts is the splatter stamp from the "Waterfront" stamp set.

This is a fabulous stamp set for so many reasons...this splatter stamp is just one of them. 😀

And speaking of fabulous...I LOVE the new Subtle Embossing Folder.   It adds a fun texture to any cardstock, Designer Paper, etc.
