Starting Off Write...

It's BACK TO SCHOOL TIME?!?!?  Are you serious?!  Where was summer?  Did I blink?  My fave time of year always goes SO FAST!!!

Alas...I wanted to give my kids and their teachers a little back to school fun!  But what to do?!  Treats are always fun to do--but I don't always like to do the candy thing.  What's the next best thing?! Well what about fabulous GEL PENS?!?!?!!

I think this turned out kinda fun so wanted to share.  Any gift looks more fancy if it has a fun "puny" tag!, right?! ...

ColorsWhisper White, Pool Party, Read Red, Daffodil Delight
StampsWriting Notes
Tools: Mini Stapler & Staples
Accessories: Real Red Stitched Ribbon, Basic Black Baker's Twine

This was so quick and easy to do!  Just a piece of cardstock stamped with the "Writing Notes" background stamp. (P.S...I LOVE THIS STAMP!!)  How cute is this?!  (This is a large background stamp.  You could stamp an entire standard sized card front (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") at once!

Here is a close-up of the tag...

The greeting I just printed off from my computer and then cut it up for the tag.  So easy, quick, and fun!

Hope you enjoy!  Let me know if you have any questions!  ***Note: these pens are pretty much the best.  Ordered them off Amazon.  They are PaperMate Ink Joy pens.  Fabulous gel pens!  Just sayin'.  Let me know if you have any questions!!! designwithink@gmail.com

Forever Begins Today...

Yesterday I went to a reception for a dear friend.  If you have followed me for any amount of time, you know that I LOVE banners.  They are the best way to help decorate any event, or your home!  Love. Them!  So...to help her celebrate...I made my friend a banner for her reception.  Her reception was SOOOOO cute!  Burlap, Lace, Yellow daisies, vintage-y...she just did such an amazing job!  How about I show you this banner that hung over the food table...

Now...I know this pic is hard to see the details.  So don't worry...I have more pictures to help you see more...

And even more close-up...

What do you think? Well...guess what?!  I also made a coordinating card for them!!!  It had to match, right?!  :-)  So here you go...

LOVE making these flowers!  Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

Pop Of Pink Flip-Book....And a Flashback...

So TOMORROW is my 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator (demo)!  Wow!  I kinda can't believe it.  I can't believe how grateful I am to be a part of such an amazing company--one that cares about people, cares about operating with integrity, cares about offering quality products, and the list goes on. I feel very lucky.

My club project this month was a throwback to one I made like this at the Founder's Circle I earned when I was a Rising Star.  (One of the top 15 new demo's the first full year that I was a demo...I was #10!)  One of our Make & Take's at this event was this fun flip-book album.  Here was my take on it that we did for club this month (I thought it would be easier to show you how it works with a video.  Then there are still pictures below)...

(Looks like the video didn't upload great.  Sorry for the bad quality.  I hope it at least gives you an idea of how it works.)

How fun is that?!  I hope you enjoy!  Here are picture of the album before pictures were added...

Can't find it??...Make It!

I've been in the process of re-decorating my house.  We recently had it painted, and now I'm trying to figure out what I want and where.  Today I worked on the finishing touches for my fireplace mantle.  My house was all done being painted around the 4th of July, so I originally had just decorated it for the holiday.  Recently I took down the holiday decor and had to decorate it for "every day" decor.  No problem, right?!  Well--actually--it honestly is hard for me to find what I like in stores.  I like clean and simple, bright and cheery, etc.  I don't really do many rustic or antique-y pieces.  Well...my style isn't always the "trend" of home decor.  Sooooo....what do I do?!  Just decorate with what I can find?  Or--just make my own pieces??!!!  Why--of course--just make what I like!  Yay for being able to totally personalize my space with my Stampin' Up! supplies!  Want to see what I made?!  And what my mantle looks like?!  Well here you go...

I know it's hard to see, so here is a more up-close picture...

So I made the little basket of flowers, added the large burlap flower to the vase, put up a sign, and then made a few frames with my Stampin' Up! supplies!  Want to see even more close-up pictures of those?!  I'm sure you do, because they still are hard to see in the photos.  So...here you go...

I can't express how much I love the "Sunshine Sayings" Bundle.  It is SO. MUCH. FUN. to use!  So it was the first thing I thought to use when I wanted to make a fun frame.  Paired with the "Pop of Pink" Designer Series Paper...well it just can't get much better!!  :-)  I LOVE the gold foil papers in this pack, but I have to say--I have been hoarding them.  (I'm sure I'm not the only one that does this, right?!)  But using it in a display piece that I will see every day?!...best way to use it!  :-)  What do you think?!

Then look at this frame I found in a store...

I loved this frame!  I love pineapples and love the pineapple trend!  However...this frame wasn't the right size for what I needed.  I just thought...I can make my own!!  So look what I did...

It's also using the "Pop of Pink" Designer Series Paper.  So simple and so cute...I think anyway.  :-) cut a piece of the paper to the size you need, emboss the pineapple with Gold Embossing powder, adhere to paper, frame, and voila!  A fun decor piece! What do you think?!

Anyway...hope you enjoy and this inspires you to create something fun today!  Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com.

Handy Card Layout--Festive Birthday Style...

The card I am about to show you is one of my "go-to" layouts when I need a quick card done.  I love it...it's quick and simple, but cute!  The best kind!  Also, I am having a love affair with the "Festive Birthday" Designer Series Paper.  SUCH FUN colors, patterns, and designs!  You could easily make up a set of cards with this paper--just switch out a different pattern for each card!  Anyway...enough blabber...on to the card...

What do you think?  See how easy this card would be to change up over and over again?!

ColorsCrushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Emerald Envy, Whisper White
StampsSunburst Sayings
ToolsBig Shot & Cutting Pads, Layering Circle Framelits, 1 3/8" Circle Punch, Confetti Hearts Border Punch, Corner Rounder
AccessoriesFestive Birthday Designer Series Paper, Emerald Envy Ruched Ribbon, Gold Metallic Thread

I. LOVE. the little delicate scallop poking out from behind the circle.  So sweet.  (It's done with the Layering Circle Framelit dies.)  And that dainty little heart (punched from Confetti Heart punch) is just a fun little touch.

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com.
