Kinda Eclectic Meets Park Lane...

In this card I paired the Kinda Eclectic stamp set with the Park Lane Designer Series Paper.  The colors in the paper work really well with the stamp set, I felt.  What do you think?!? ...

I love this card layout...and think you could use this layout with so many stamp sets and papers, colors, etc.

Here are a few more views...

The colors are Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss, Calypso Coral, and Soft Suede.  Hope you enjoy this card!

Hello Honey Meets Amazing Birthday...

Here is the last project that I made with the "Amazing Birthday" stamp set.  It's a birthday card.  The main color I used is called Hello Honey.  It is one of the new In Colors for this year.  And I really like this yellow.  Here is the card...

Nothing too crazy about this card.  This is one of my least fave projects I did...but do love those gold sequins.  I am not a big gold lover, but those sequins...I LOVE!

Here are a few more pics of the details...

The colors used were all In Colors actually:  Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, and Lost Lagoon.

Hope you enjoy this card!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

LOVE with Seasonally Scattered...

Here's another card made with the "Seasonally Scattered" stamp set.  This time using the "LOVE" greeting that is with the set.  So be ready...this set comes out August 28th in the Holiday catalog!  And it's a fun set!  :)  Here is the card...

Fun, right?!  Here are a few pics of the details...

When I first did this card...I actually didn't like it.  Then I went back to it...and kinda fell in love with it.  (Which is fitting...since it's a love card.  :) )  So I hope you enjoy it!  I did a lot of embossing to make things really pop.

YIPPEE-SKIPPEE Meets Kinda Eclectic...Convention Display Board Sample

I LOVE the stamp set, "Yippee-Skippee!"  So many fun phrases.  I used one on the card I am sharing today.  "Kinda Eclectic" is the star of the show, but love the fun greeting.

On to the card...

Here are a few more pics to show you some details...

Like always...it's the details that make the difference.  Love the distressing, the polka dot background, the rolled corners, the small scallop edge, etc.

I hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!

August Club Card...Be YOU Tiful Flower Patch!

We make two projects for club each month, and I already posted the project we made this month HERE.  So now you get to see the card we made!

I have to admit...I REALLY love this card. When I first saw the stamp set, "Flower Patch"...I KNEW I had to have it.  So I purchased it, along with the coordinating framelits.  And there it sat.  For awhile.  SO SAD.  I had to use it this month.  And now..as I knew I would be...I. AM. In. LOVE!  So easy to stamp all the layered flowers and cut them out with the coordinating framelits.  So fun to get such a cute focal point for any project.  Love easy and fun when it comes to crafting.  :)

Here are a few more shots...

I tell the gals I stamp with all the time..."it's just all about the small details."  And I truly believe that. Sure...I could of just glued all the pieces of the card together and it would have been cute enough.  But....a simple curl of some petals and leaves with a bone folder and look how much more CUTE it is...

It really is all about the details.  Notice the polka dots on the background?!  Wondering what paper that is?!  Well...it is the Typeset Specialty Designer Series Paper (that I am IN. LOVE. WITH! as well).  BUT....just a little detail added and the background really pops.  I used the new FABULOUS polka dot Decorative Mask to sponge some Pool Party polka dots on the paper...and VOILA!  Instant fabulousness.  :)

I love the sentiment on this card as well.  One I see myself using A. LOT.  I have three children...all girls.  I can see the message in this sentiment being perfect for so many occasions for them.

I hope you enjoyed this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!

August Club Project...Bloom For You

Tonight was my monthly club gathering!  I love this night!  For those in the club that are local...we have tons of fun meeting up together.  For those that participate long distance...I still love my monthly connection with them!  We always make a card and a 3D project.  They place a minimum monthly order, get these two free projects each month (with a full PDF instruction sheet!), and get hostess benefits one of the months they are in club.  It's a ton of fun!  If you would like more info or would like to consider joining...let me know!  designwithink@gmail.com

On to the 3-D project that they made this month...

We made this little purse!  So much fun, right?!?  HOW DID WE DO THIS?! ...you may be asking.  Well...this is what the base of the purse looked like before we added our lid...

That's right!  We used this cute little fry box (made with the Big Shot and the Fry Box Bigz Die) for our purse base!  This project was so quick and easy!  Gotta love that!

Here are some more shots...

I loved making this project, and can see many more of these in the future.

The colors we used on this purse are:  Hello Honey, Mossy Meadow, and Blackberry Bliss...ALL new In-Colors this year.  And LOVE that flower stamp...it's called "Bloom For You" and it is a fave of mine.  It coordinates with the Fun Flower punch...so easy breezy to use!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Hope you enjoy this project!

Amazing Birthday Turned Sweet...Convention Display Boards...

Another card made with the "Amazing Birthday" stamp set today.  I was surprised at how versatile this "birthday" stamp set came out.  Here's a "sweet moments" card  you could use for many occasions...

What I did with this card was just stamp the "Make Today Ridiculously Amazing" (and a few other stamps in the set) in different colors.  Then punched some hearts out of the different patterns that were in the stamps.  After that...just line them all up in "rainbow" order .  This was a fun card to make!

Here are a few more pics...

So what do you think?  I think I may have used at least one full pack of rhinestones on these display projects.  I LOVE them!  They just seem to be the perfect bling to add to any project.

Some "Merry" with Seasonally Scattered...Convention Display Boards...

Have a quick treat bag to share today that I made using the upcoming "Seasonally Scattered" stamp set.  This will be in the Holiday Catalog that will be released the end of this month.  This is a fun and quick project to use as packaging for any small gift you need to give.  What a way to brighten someones day! This one is holiday themed...but would be easy to change for any holiday!  In fact...I made a version of this for club!  CLICK HERE to see that!

Here it the project today...

I stamped and embossed the "Merry" stamp and then colored the "Merry" letters in with the Old Olive Blendabilities marker.  I LOVE these markers.  Even when you are just using one of the colors...and not really blending them...they are just so pretty and fun to use!  After I colored the letters, I added some Dazzling Details to it to just add some shimmer and 3D pop.

Here is an better detailed pic...

And I love my projects to have lots of textures and layers and all of that fun stuff.  So I liked using all the different ribbons and sequins that I used for the accessories.  The flower was fun too!  I've made these LOTS so you have seen these lots if you are a follower of my blog.  But basically you just punch out a few of whatever size scallop you want to use.  (Here there are 5 layers I believe.)  Then just secure them together with a brad.  Spritz the top layer with rubbing alcohol and scrunch that layer up.  Then spritz again and scrunch the next layer.  And so on until you have this full and beautiful flower!...

(And can I say...I LOVE that Burlap ribbon!)

Here are a few more shots...

Those doilies...man I use A LOT of them!  This one I smooshed some Mossy Meadow ink onto the doily and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  LOVE doing this!  And you just have to  love that In Color clothespin!!  SO MUCH FUN!

And all of this just goes so perfectly on this amazing Chevron bags.  LOVE them!!!  They are inexpensive and fun to use!  What could be better?!  :)

I hope you enjoy this project!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Thanks for visiting! designwithink@gmail.com

Amazing Birthday Decor...Convention Display Board Sample

I do love throwing parties.  It's fun to celebrate occasions with people you love, give people fun memories, make people happy, etc.  So when I received the "Amazing Birthday" stamp set to make Convention samples with...I knew I wanted to make some kind of decor with it.  I decided on a wreath that you could hang at a party.  So here is what I made...

You could even make it more gender neutral and hang it up for any birthday's that you have.  (I have 3 girls and 0 boys though...so this color combo works perfectly for us! :) )

Here it is hanging up on the display board...

And some detailed shots...

I love using Iridescent Ice embossing powder.  I forget about it at times.  But used it a lot on these Display Board projects because embossing powder makes things pop...and with them being on display...that's what I wanted!  So hopefully in the picture you can kinda see how it glimmers.

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks for visiting!  If you have any questions...let me know!  designwithink@gmail.com

"You Made My Day" With a Little Kinda Eclectic...

Can I just say...I LOVE the cases that Stampin' Up! uses for their stamp sets.  They are SO MUCH FUN!  But can I also just say...these cases aren't just fun for stamp sets!  They sell their cases empty as well...which makes it a great item for so many other uses!  This project I am sharing with you today is made with one of these cases....the smallest Wood Mount one.  And this would be great packaging for any smallish gift or treat you would like to share.

Here is the project...

This is using the "Kinda Eclectic" stamp set.  A few things to note...the base is Crumb Cake cardstock...and that is stamped and inserted into the actual case itself.  The rest of the elements are adhered on top of the case.  Look at the rhinestones on this project.  HOW ARE THEY PURPLE?!?! Well...I used the Rich Razzleberry Blendability marker to color the Basic Rhinestones!  So much fun!!!  LOVE LOVE doing this!

Here are a few more pictures so can you see some of the details better...

Love that Champagne Glimmer Paper!  Adds some fun sparkle to this project!  And I sponged the edges of the elements to make it all pop a bit more.  The small details make a difference.

Hope you enjoy this project and that it inspires you to create something today!  Thanks so much for visiting!!

Seasonally Scattered Thanks...Convention Display Board Samples Continued...

Have another card to share with you today.  This one is using the "Seasonally Scattered" stamp set that will be available shortly!  It's being debuted in the upcoming Holiday Catalog...which you can get your hands on at the end of this month!  Let me know if you need a copy and I will send you one right out!

On to the card...

I  have to admit...I love this stamp set.  It's so much fun that you have the focal point and greeting all in one stamp.  The set has three stamps in it...a "love", "merry", and then this "thanks".  On this card I stamped the stamp twice...once onto the Crumb Cake.  Then again on the Tangelo Twist.  The Tangelo Twist image, I just cut out the "thanks" letters...which is actually the negative space of the stamp.  Then I adhered them over the stamp that I stamped (and embossed with Iridescent Ice embossing powder to give it some sparkle) onto the Crumb Cake cardstock.  So fun...and really makes the greeting pop.

Here are a few more pictures of the details...

I believe I use ribbon on just about every project I make.  Love the texture and pop it gives.  But sometimes you think you just have to tie ribbon around your project.  That's not true!  You can use ribbon in all sorts of different ways!  I love how it looks on this card...and gives the card a fun vertical element.  Think of different ways you can use ribbon next time you go to use it on a project!

Can you see the bit of sparkle the Iridescent Ice embossing powder gives?!  LOVE IT!

Hope you enjoy this card!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com
