July Club Projects...

Due to me sharing my Artisan Award Entry projects...I just realized that I haven't shared our club projects for the month!  Here is the card we made...

What is this stamp set I used?! you may be asking.  Well...it's an exclusive set you can get JUST this July!  And how much is it?!  It's only $5.00!!!! when you place a $50.00 order!  How FUN is that?!  Here are images of all the stamps...

It comes in both clear and wood mount.  (Just send me an email...designwithink@gmail.com with your minimum $50.00 order and you can get this set for just $5.00!!!  You can also place your order right in my online store... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net)

Here are some close-up's of the card...

The ribbon was pleated on the card and then Baker's Twine was tied around it for some extra detail.  And LOVE the new piercer, mat, and templates.  Made piercing around this Apothecary Art piece I cut out with my Big Shot EASY PEASY!!!

Then here is the sentiment...
Then we used the Purse Die to make our 3D project.  Here it is...

We cut off the top flap to make it an open purse.  I thought that was a little different twist on the way the original die is suppose to be.  Here are some other pics...

I hope you enjoy these projects!

UnWinning Artisan Award Entry...Scrapbook Page #3

Well here is my last scrapbook layout to show you, as well as my LAST project to show you!!!! (Not my last project EVER to show you!  :)  Just my last that I submitted for the Artisan Award Contest this year.  :) )

I hope you enjoy this one...I know I LOVED making it!!!  The subject of the page is my SWEET (and quite SASSY) 16-month old daughter.  (Although she was about 14 months when I took these photos.)  See how cute she is for yourself :-) ...

I really do love everything about this page.  The color combo (HOW can you go wrong when Melon Mambo is anywhere nearby?! :-) ), the accessories, the background, and most of all...THOSE PICTURES!!!  (The last one on the page is somewhat dark.  SORRY!)  Look at that cute girl though with all her faces.  She is such a happy baby (unless she doesn't get what she wants...then she can throw a tantrum to rival any 2 or 3 year old!!).  And she LOVES giving loves and cuddles.  Anyway...you came here to see a project...sorry I am getting carried away!  Here are some close-up's of the details...

The letters have Crystal Effects all over them to make them glossy and pop.  The big background circles are embossed with the Square Lattice embossing folder for some texture.  That YUMMY Satin ribbon adds more shiney and glossy.  The scallop is from the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die.

I hope you enjoyed this project.  I hope you enjoyed ALL TEN projects!  I guess now I can show you much more scaled back stamping projects that I have been working on!  :)  Thanks SO MUCH for visiting!

UnWinning Artisan Award Entry....Card # 5

My final card that I made for this year's Artisan Award contest.  I really liked this card and will definitely do more of these in the future....
Isn't it fun?! I hope you like it!  The background is stamped with two background stamps...the Medallion and the Netting.  Love the background layered look...even though it doesn't show in this picture.  I wanted it really light and subtle.  And love those butterflies.  Here are some close-up's...

I hope you can see all the details.  It really was a fun card to make.  And pretty simple.  Here is the inside...
I hope you enjoyed this card!!!!  And I hope you have been enjoying all the projects!  :)  Thanks so much for visiting!!!!

UnWinning Artisan Award Entry...3D #2

Here is my last 3D project I submitted to the Artisan Award contest this year that I have to share.  I don't love this project.  I am actually really bummed because I had this done differently and it was MUCH MUCH MUCH cuter!  HOWEVER...it was in a glass container.  And I was about to submit my entries (the LAST day that I could!) and I read that NO GLASS was allowed!  AHHHH!  So I had to find something else to use and it just didn't turn out all that cute.  But I just had no time to do much about it.  ANYWAY...on to the project...

SO here is my flower bouquet I did.  In the bottom of the paint can there are styrofoam balls covered in Stampin' Up! fabric.  Those are what my flowers are sticking in.  And there is SO much detail on these...even though it doesn't look like it.  BOTH sides of everything are decorated.  So if you see it from either side...it still looks pretty.  And....well....here are some close-up's.  I did something different in each of the flowers/pinwheels....

I won't even begin to tell you how long the details in the center took.  :)  And I hope you can see the stamping...I used all the stamps from the "Circle Circus" set to add some detail.  Here are some more detail pics...

I should of gotten a picture from the back so you could see both sides.  :-(  I don't even have a second one of these either.  I tried to make 2 of everything...but just ran out of time.  :-(  I guess if it's on display at convention anywhere...I will sneak up to it and grab it and just take it home with me.  :)

I hope you enjoyed this project!  Thank you so much for visiting!  To be linked to my past projects click HERE

UnWinning Artisan Award Entry...Card #4

After this card...I am almost done showing you my Artisan Award projects.  I only have 1 card, 1 scrapbook page, and 1 3D project left. But on to card #4...
This card may look like a simple layout, but it took some time!!!  See that chevron pattern on the bottom?!  Yeah...that is hand-made.  I used two different DSP designs and made that chevron pattern!  Kinda fun, RIGHT?!  :)  Here are the close-up's of the card...

The flower is Perfect Plum taffeta ribbon just rolled and rolled around in a circle. I embossed everything stamped with Iridescent Ice embossing powder.   (LOVE that stuff.  Makes everything SO SPARKLY!!! even if you can't tell in the photo.)

And then here is the inside...
I am sure you can't see it but this is embossed as well so it's sparkly.  And of course did a little spritzing with my marker and Color Spritzer!

Thanks SO MUCH for visiting!  I hope you have enjoyed this project and all the others I have shown.  :)  Click HERE to be linked to my other projects I entered for the Artisan Award this year!

Unwinning Artisan Award Entry...Scrapbook Page #2

I have a few more entries to share with you! And...THIS WEEK is CONVENTION!!!!  I can't believe it!  So we will get to find out who won the Artisan Award (and get to see all their fabulous projects!) and have a BLAST celebrating Stampin' Up!  :)  I am SOOOO excited!!!!!  Will try to get some posts scheduled to post while I am gone so you can see all my entries to the contest.  And click HERE to see my projects that I have shown already!

But on to today's post.  It's another Scrapbook Layout today.  This page looks simple enough but it took FOREVER to make because there really are LOTS of details.  Here is the page...

And here are the shots of the details on the page...

Crystal Effects was my friend on this page.  :) As well as Dazzling Diamonds and Dazzling Details.  All thing glitter I guess!  :)  I love all the little "bubble" elements on this page.  Use the Tasteful Trim Bigz Die for the scallop background.  Just cut out quite a bit of the strips and layered them all on some cardstock to make the background.  It was quite fun.

I REALLY hope you have been enjoying these projects!  Thank you SO MUCH for visiting!!!

UnWinning Artisan Award Entry...Card #3

Well I am half way done now showing you my 10 Artisan Award submissions.  This 5th project is another card.  I really liked making this card.  I wanted to showcase different styles...and this one I went a bit vintage-y.  On to the card...

I really "Wish" I would of won this contest!  :) That's what this card is for now.  :)  But I love all the distressing, ripping, sponging, marker spritzing, etc.  Here are some close up's of the details...

Did the dots around the card with the holes in the paper piercing template.  Added pearls to every vintage accessory I had, tied some ribbon, used the WONDERFUL Tasteful Trim Big Shot die, etc. etc.  There are lots of details on this card.

Here is the inside...
Just did a bit more marker spritzing, sponging, scalloping, etc.

A close-up of the sentiment...
I really hope you are enjoying these projects!  Click HERE to go to my last post where there will be links to all my projects in case you haven't seen them! :)

UnWinning Artisan Award Entry...3D Project #1

Where did the last week go?! :)  Time I posted again!!!  I hope this was worth the wait...this post is showcasing my favorite of my two 3D projects that I submitted for the Artisan Award.  However...it was the toughest to photograph and really get a good picture of.  But...I will still show it to you, of course.  It did look better in person.  Sorry I can't show you all in person!  :)  Here it is...

It's a Baby Mobile!  (Ok...an "any person" mobile because I am going to hang my "draft" of this project in my stamp room! :) )  How fun is this?!  It may not look like it...because it's pretty simple...but it took WELL over 10 hours to make!  I lost count at 10.  (And don't really want to think of how long it really took.  :) )  Here is two pictures from the top...

And some close-up's of the circles...

I love this pleated ribbon...
I know you can't really see all the detail but EVERYTHING is sponged to make  it pop.  Every circle, butterfly...front and back...everything.  The butterflies all embossed with a whole bunch of different embossing folders.  It really was quite cute in person. :)

I hope you enjoy this project!

If you want to see the past UnWinning Artisan Award projects I have posted...click HERE and then just follow the links on the bottom of the post to see them all!  I also was highlighted on my friend Tiffany's blog!  :)  How sweet is she!  :)
So that was fun!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog!  I really do hope you enjoyed your visit!  :)
