Whoooo Loves This Owl?!?!?

Ok...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new Owl punch in the catalog! He is SO CUTE!!!! So OF COURSE he had to be the star of the show for one of my swap cards for convention. This card was for a swap I do with the MOST AMAZING gals!!! When I was awarded with the Rising Star award for 2008...I had no idea I would become part of such an amazing group!!! The 15 of us that were Rising Stars that year still keep in touch and at EVERY event we go to with Stampin' Up!...we STILL swap together! It's so much fun and I just feel so blessed to be part of such an amazing group!!!! So...here is the card I made...

I used the Sweet and Sour Specialty Designer Series Paper. This stuff is FABULOUS! You can't tell really in the pic...but some of those tiny polka dots are GLOSSY! LOVE that!!!! I used quite a few punches to make this focal point...
The 2 3/8"" Extra Large Scallop Circle die, the 1 3/4" Circle Punch, the Two-Step Bird Punch (for the branch he is sitting on), OF COURSE the Owl Punch, and then the Scallop Trim Border punch for the Chocolate Chip piece. Too much fun!!! :) So I ask...WHOOOOOO does NOT LOVE this owl?!?! :)
Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoy!!!

Love the owl punch! I have played around with mine a lot but never thought to use those kind of eyes. I think the card is great.

Love this card! Can I just say that I find new projects on your blog everytime I go there...and I mean ones from way back when. I guess I don't visit as often as I thought because I have missed a lot of your postings! So glad I can go back and see all your fun projects!

Now I'm really excited!!! I already have this owl punch in my e-mail "drafts" for my Oct. order. Why don't you do a card with it and then we'd get a discount on it--hint, hint!! Love the punch, love the card, love you!!!

This is so, so cute, Ashley! I love the paper you chose, the colors, and, of course, the little owl! She (I'm assuming she's a girl) looks so cute in pink! Love the heart accent too! I really enjoy visiting your blog and viewing your creations! Thanks for sharing!
