Leadership Projects...Shelli Style!!

Today I wanted to share some super fun projects with you! I LOVE all of these! However...I did not make any of them. :) These projects are all from Leadership...and they were done by the owner of Stampin' Up, Shelli Gardner. I totally admire Shelli and all she has accomplished. She is one amazing woman! I could go on and on about what I admire about her...so feel free to ask if you want to know. :) But back to stamping...Shelli and I have different styles. She loves all things vintage...and I just don't really "do" that style. Not that I don't love it...that just isn't what ends up coming out when I create something. :) But I ALWAYS love the projects she makes. And I wanted to share with you a few she showed us when I was at this past Leadership Convention.

Look how cute this is!!! I love it!!!!
And this card....LOVE IT!!!! :)

And this one...LOVE IT again!!!
And this scrapbook page....OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!
So I hope you enjoy these projects. Isn't Shelli amazing?! :) I know I certainly ooooh'ed and ahhhhh'ed over them when I saw them! :) Thanks for visiting!!!

Waste Not, Want Not...RIGHT?!

The next class I am doing, we are making a "LOVE" chipboard book, using the Heart Chipboard Book in the Mini catalog. This is how the Chipboard Books start out...
They are actually bigger than I thought they would be. The chipboard square is about 6 1/2" square...FYI. Now...I posted HERE how they look when they are decorated. But when I popped the heart shape out of the chipboard square, I just could NOT part with those pieces. I thought that they would just be too much fun on another project. So today I played a bit. And came up with a card I really do "love" a whole lot. :) I don't know if it's ok to say that on something you came up with...but I can't help it. It's so sparkly and fun. Here it is...
Isn't that FUN! Can you see that the red sparkly is the leftover chipboard?! (I have a side view down below so maybe you can see it better there.) I covered the chipboard in Real Red Craft ink and then embossed it with Iridescent Ice embossing powder. SO MUCH FUN! Then I cut out the letters with the Simple Alphabet Big Shot Diesand embossed with the Polka Dot embossing folder. And then added pink accents of all kinds. :) Seriously....it looks SO FABULOUS in real life and I really do love it!!! Sparkly Chipboard, sparkly Designer Series Paper (have I told you HOW MUCH I LOVE the "Sending Love" Designer Series Paper that is in the mini?!), it's just SPARKLY!!! Here are some more views...

Some letters are up on dimensionals...some aren't. Just wanted to add some more interest. And check out the sparkle (as much I can capture in a picture)...

And then a side view...
So there you go!!! Your thoughts?!! :) Oh...and the card is 6 1/2" x 6"...FYI.
NOW...to fit this heart on the card, I trimmed the top and bottom just a tad. WELL....I couldn't waste THOSE sparkly strips now...COULD I?! :) So this is the card I made with those...

How FABULOUS are THOSE sparkly strips?! :) This card is lots of fun too! I took four of the embossed hearts from the mini (it's the embosslit that cuts out and embosses at the same time using the Big Shot...LOVE IT) and adhered them together to make the flower. Then added some fun embellishments in the middle and some leaves on the side. VOILA!! Fun flower!!!! And again...some sparkly Designer Series Paper in the middle of the sparkly strips. OH...I also sprayed the "flower" with my shimmer paint spray! ANOTER SPARKLY project!!!! And then the saying is from a wonderful Sale-A-Bration stamp set! :) (Oh...and the flower stamped in the background is from the set that coordinates with the Sending Love paper....can't remember the name at the moment.) Here is a close up of the sparkly strip and the embossed flower...
I had a lot of fun making these cards, so hope you enjoy viewing them! Thanks for visiting!

Swap Card...

SO SORRY I have been gone all week!!! I won't get in to the details but it's just been CRAZY here at the Van Camp house! :) Let's just say....we are doing some unexpected and unwanted fix-up's to our house. I'll get into the whole story later. :)

I was invited to participate in a swap back in December with a great group of stampers so I jumped at the opportunity! This was the card I did for my first swap with them....

I love all the textures on this card. I embossed the "XOXOXO", I used the new Polka Dot Embossing Folder for the background, the Pretty in Pink cardstock is textured cardstock, I used the corduroy brads, etc. I'm pleased with how this came out. Here is a close-up...
What fun! :) Then since I've been gone for so long...I have a few more cards to share with you. These are a few of the make and takes we made at the Leadership Conference I got back from recently...
This was quite the fun card to make. Don't know if you can tell but the flower we "roughed up" a bit. We stamped it, punched it out (that is the new Extra Large Flower punch from the mini catalog), and then crumpled it all up. Smooth it out and put it on your card and you have a nice element to your card. :) Here is a close-up...
And then this other card I really like...
I love the multi-colored flowers in the background, and really am liking the layout. Here is a close-up:
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!!!

Vintage Vogue...

Wanted to share a few cards with you that I saw while I was on my Leadership trip. I LOVE these cards. We got the stamp set, Vintage Vogue, while we were there. I was SO EXCITED to get this set because it is AWESOME! :) They had some samples on display for us and I wanted to show you a few. I loved these cards!!!

Aren't they fabulous! Gotta love them! :) Hope you enjoy!!

Sparkly Tulipe...

Just a quick card to show you today. I made this one using the Tulipe Big Shot Die. I LOVE this image and thought it would make a great card all by itself. So all I did was cut out a piece of Close to Cocoa cardstock and run it through. Then I didn't use the pieces it cut out...but I used the leftover piece. I mounted that on a Very Vanilla textured piece. Added a Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button in the middle, stamped my sentiment, and then popped it all up on dimensionals on to a Old Olive card. I believe it's a 6x6 card. THEN...just sprayed the whole card with SHIMMER SPRAY! It really sparkles! Here it is...

And a close-up of the sprayed card...
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Club Day in January...

Hey there! Sorry I've been gone a few days. It's been a bit of a struggle to get back into the swing of things after my trip to Phoenix. Let me just say....the Leadership Convention was AWESOME!! I got the most out of this one than any of the past ones I have been to. It was FULL of information, good ideas, creative projects, etc, etc. It really was so amazing! And great company as well! I have lots to share....it will just be a little bit before I get it all organized to post. But stay tuned.

HOWEVER....today is club day! And it's our first meeting this round! Some new people have joined us and I'm so excited! I do it one session in the morning and one at night...so I still have a fun meeting tonight to look forward to! Anyway....wanted to share the projects we are making today. First up is our card...
It is a shaker card made with the NEW Sweet Treat Cups! How CUTE are they?! Can you spot all the NEW product on here?! A new Sale-A-Bration set (the phrase in the corner), a NEW heart set (the white set around the Sweet Treat Cups), the NEW Heart Sweet Treat Cups, the NEW Pretty in Pink Satin Ribbon, the NEW heart punch (punched out the small heart confetti that is in the middle of the card), the NEW Sale-A-Bration border punch!!!! Too much fun! Here is a close up...
We punched out some hearts and added some chunky glitter. It's super fun to play with and shake up! :)
Our 3D project is a FUN box I learned in Phoenix. I saw this box and FELL IN LOVE! So why mess with a good thing? :) Here it is...
I love the hearts and the colors. And I love the closure...
How genius is this?! It's a circle punch with a brad. You just tuck that lip in the circle to keep it closed! TOO FUN!!!!
THEN...when you open it....you get a yummy treat! BUT....the best thing...the box folds completely flat! The box is made like the Magnetic Boxes that were in the past Holiday Mini. They just fold down flat. It's fabulous. :)
Just in case you care, I wanted to show you the fun card tree I bought at Leadership. They have some fun things for us to buy and this was just one of the items...
Isn't that a fun way to display them?! LOVING it! :) Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!

Scrapbook Time...

(Just a reminder again that this is a scheduled post while I am out of town. You won't even know I am gone! :) )

Wanted to share another swap I made for the Leadership Conference I am currently at. (By the way...a swap is a group of people that sign up to all make the same thing. You then meet up and "swap" your projects. A great way to get lots of ideas! :) ) This one was a 12x12 double page swap. I have to admit...I am really happy with how they turned out. :) Here are both pages...
And then a close-up of the first one...
And here is the main flower. This is done with the Flower Folds die and the Big Shot. LOVE this!
Then here is the 2nd page. I actually didn't end up doing that little ribbon tab thing because I didn't really like it. But this is the page set I got a pic of. :) So you can see what it looks like with it.
Here is a close-up of the smaller flower...
Color combo is Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue, Melon Mambo, So Saffron, and Old Olive. I am definitely going to be doing more with these! The alphabet is the FABULOUS Stampin' Up! exclusive Simple Letters alphabet in the catalog.
Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!

Rising Star Swap...

(Just a reminder again that this is a scheduled post while I am out of town. You won't even know I am gone! :) )

While I am at Leadership, I will be meeting with the gals from the year I was a Rising Star for Stampin' Up! It is always great to see them! We always do a swap and it's so much fun! This is the card I made for our swap...
It's using YET AGAIN the paper from the Sweet Pea pack. (If you haven't picked up on the fact that I LOVE this paper yet....maybe you will now. :) I just love it because there is such good variety. Too much fun!) The color combo is Chocolate Chip, Rose Red, and Pretty in Pink. OH...and Whisper White. :) I did the faux stitching with my white gel pen around the top of the card. And then I embossed the heart. I just stamped in Pretty in Pink Craft Ink on to Pretty in Pink cardstock. Then used Crystal Clear embossing powder to really make it shine. :) And what is this little white accent...
No...it's not a die cut. It's one of the Kisses Love Notes that are in the new Mini! You can try these out and lots of other embellishments by getting in on my Embellishment Share. Click HERE to read about it! Anyway...those were really fun to use and I'm loving how this came out.
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!!!

Sweet Pea Double Time...

(Just a reminder again that this is a scheduled post while I am out of town. You won't even know I am gone! :) )

This is a SUPER fun and quick project. I cut out two of the Box #2's (using my Big Shot and that die) and then just adhered them together. Keep the lid up, don't close it, and just adhere those together. Then you have yourself a cute box that could hold some treats, a gift card, etc, etc.

And the Designer Series Paper is from the Sweet Pea pack...I am LOVING the whole pack! It's fun!!! (Don't forget you can get a sampling of all these papers by purchasing my Designer Series Paper pack. Click HERE to read about it.) Here's a top view... I put a strip of Chocolate Chip cardstock on the bottom to give it a little more support on the bottom. Here is a close-up of the front focal point...

The Pumpkin Pie frame is from the "Lots of Tags" Big Shot die. LOVE these! Especially this one because it is the perfect mat for the Wide Oval punch. Then just added a ribbon from the Latte pack and tied a bow with Linen Thread. I'm really loving this....if I'm being honest. :)
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Notebook Gift...

Again...I am at a Leadership Conference for Stampin' Up! right now...so this is scheduled to post while I am gone.

I wanted to share a gift I made for the gals in my group that I went with. Here it is...

I made these fun notebooks. I know I've shown these before, but really...they are so much fun to make! And these are all done with the NEW Designer Series Paper from the Sweet Pea paper pack!!!! (Don't forget you can try out all these papers with my Product Shares. Click HERE to read about it! :) ) LOVE this stuff! Here is a shot of all the notebooks together...
And then shots of all the notebooks individually...
And here is the notebook standing tall...
All you do to make these is cut strips of paper and a strip of Designer Series Paper for the cover. Staple in the middle, and decorate as desired! Then I packaged this up with a 2 year calendar. The point of this gift?! Since it is the beginning of the year...I decided to make them this notebook so they could set all their goals for the year and then the calendar so they can plan them out. Hope they liked them! Here they are all packaged up...
Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!!!
