Kinda fun, huh?! Here are some more pictures...
The best part about these flowers, is that the "Bouquet Bigz Die" makes these flowers SO EASY to make! BUT...it's RETIRING!! So get it while you can! Also...the center of the flowers are made with the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch which is also retiring!
Here is the die...
Look at all those fun flower shapes! And here is the basic gist of putting a flower together...
For the large flowers I cut out 5 of the largest petals (and with the Bigz die...you can cut all of them at once!!!!) and curled them with a bone folder like this...
Then, see that slit at the flat part of the petal?! Well you just add a little hot glue to one side, and glue the other side to it like this...
Then it gives it that fun petal shape. Then I just punched out a circle (2 1/2") and hot glued the petals around the circle...
Then you cut out 5 of the smaller petals, and just adhere to the inside of the larger petals. Then punch out a circle from the same paper and adhere. To make your flower center--punch out 6 scallop circles, stack them together, staple them together in the middle, spritz the top flower with rubbing alcohol, scrunch up the top layer, then repeat spritzing and scrunching until it's all puffy. Then adhere to the middle...
SO FUN, right?!?!?
Then I used the Envelope Punch Board to make an envelope to hold a gift card (the measurements are right on the board). Then just cut the envelope in half, and adhere one half to the back of the flower...
I am kinda in love...
Then just make as many as you need and put them in a vase/bucket/whatever! Here is a picture of the whole bouquet again...
After the gift cards are gone, you could easily display these flowers around the house. Hope you enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions! Let me know if you want to order any of these retiring products before they gone! designwithink@gmail.com.
