Do you LOVE rainbows like me?!  All that color is SO MUCH FUN!!!  I just used the heart stamp from the Borders To Backgrounds Stamp Set to stamp it in rainbow colors.  Then added some Coastal Cabana splatter, embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder...and there is my custom made Designer Series Paper background!  😀 Pretty fantastic, if I do say so myself.  Haha. 

I also love this detail from the Square Vellum Doily.  I cut it in half, colored it with my Magenta Madness Blends Marker, and then added it to the side...

And this butterfly...pretty amazing...huh?!  I used the fabulous Brilliant Wings Dies (GET IT NOW!!  Yes!  It is an EARLY RELEASE from the 2021 Annual Catalog that you can get NOW! Check out THIS FLYER to see it all!  😍)

Butterfly Bouquet Is Here!

I love how Stampin' Up! always has fun surprises up their sleeves.  This one...a FUN Early Release from the 2021 Annual Catalog!  Butterfly Bouquet is here!  And here is the first thing I did with it...I made a fun tag with the Brilliant Wings Dies!

What?!  A MAGENTA MADNESS GORGEOUS die-cut butterfly?!  Yes, please! Also...check out that fun background detail on the tag...

I used the Square Vellum Doilies as a mask and then added some Purple Posy ink with a Blender Brush to add the color!  😍 (Purple Posy will be retiring soon!  GAH!!  😱😭Get it now if you need to stock up on anything...or any of the 2019-2021 In Colors!) 

I LOVE the Opal Rounds from the Jan-June Mini Catalog...but HOW CUTE are they with this fun tag?!  Yeah...pretty stinking cute, huh?!  Hee.

Wrapping a roll of this gorgeous ribbon isn't so bad with this tag either, huh?!  😏

Simple Stamping Silhouettes...

 It is time for a little Simple Stamping today!  Just some paper, stamps, and ink!! Do you love a good #simplestamping project?!  It is kinda fun!  More challenging than some challenges I do though.  Hee.  I want to add some sequins or something in a bad way!  Haha.  But here you go!

I just stamped, did a quick watercolor wash (that fat Water Painter brush is AMAZING for a quick wash!) and add some paper layers!  A little piece of Designer Series Paper (from the True Love DSP pack...I LOVE this black & white pack!) and a little texture added with some layered cardstock strips for the background.  

I love the texture added by the subtle tone on tone of the background layers, and I love how it makes the bold colors of the focal point pop!  

It is so much fun to get a bit creative using just stamps, ink, & paper!  And I had a ton of fun making this card!

I love this layout and I LOVE this paper!  This paper is part of the Butterfly Bouquet NEW product line!  This is the Natural Touch Specialty Paper and I LOVE it!  It has a fun texture and embossed and is so much fun to play with!

I love this gold foil piece on the side.  It adds a fun pop, in my opinion.  😀

Fancy Ombre...

It is March!  And a new month means a new Stampin' Fancy Friday Challenge!  This month, the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team will be sharing all sorts of fun ombre projects!  So be sure to check it all out on IG & FB at @stampinfancyfriday and Stampin' Fancy Friday!  Today I get to share my project!

Accessories: Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, White Stampin' Emboss Powder, Snail Mail Twine Combo Pack

Simply Fancy is how I would describe this card...with a touch of pinkalicious!  I used Petal Pink & Flirty Flamingo for my ombre pink pattern.  First, I blended Petal Pink ink over Whisper White cardstock with the Blending Brush.  Then I used the Basic Patterns Decorative Mask to create the pattern.  I blended on both colors of ink, making sure I started pretty light at the top and blending more ink as I moved down the cardstock.  

Added some white flowers & a few more accents for some pops!  And there you have it!  Your Simply Fancy Ombre card!

Friends Are Like Seashells...or Seashells Are Friends?!

I LOVE the beach and ocean and everything about it!  It. Is. My. Happy. Place.  So ... yes ... I would call seashells my friends.  Hee.  Especially love the ones I can find while I am scuba diving.  😁 OF COURSE I love the Friends Are Like Seashells ... and the whole Sand & Sea Suite Collection!  I just have to share this pretty fabulous card I made using these products...

Colors: Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Purple Posy, Pool Party, Petal Pink, So Saffron

Inks:  Soft Sea Foam, Purple Posy, Pool Party, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Memento Jet Black

Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Purple Posy

Stamps: Friends Are Like Seashells

Tools: Seabed Embossing Folder, Seaside Seashells Dies, Seashells Embossing Folder, Heat Tool

Accessories: Linen Thread, Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder

The dies cut out that whole piece, you then use the stamps to stamp onto the die piece, and then I embossed using the Seashells Embossing Folder.  It. Is. Truly. Magical!!!  I just sponged the Soft Sea Foam onto the greenery bits.  😀

Here are a few more photos, but just have to share one little bit of info.  That is GOLD splatter embossing powder.  That's right.  Gold Embossing Powder splatter!  Kinda in love!  😍 I had to experiment a bit to get this look.  But what I ended up doing was adding a little bit of VersaMark refill to a clear block, use a Water Painter to mix a LITTLE bit of water in (this isn't the same as the regular inks...because VersaMark ink is much stickier), and flick the Water Painter in the lid, causing the splatter.  Then dumb the Stampin' Gold Embossing Powder over where you splattered, and tap off the excess.  (Lightly tap...I wanted that fine splatters to stay.). Then just heat set!  I wish I could get a better pic, because it is so sparkly in real life!  I love it!

Can you find all the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots?!  These work with this card SO! PERFECTLY!  Match made in heaven! Hee.

Also need to give a shoutout to the Seabed Embossing Folder that is in the Annual Catalog!  That is what I embossed the white layer with, and it obviously fits FABULOUSLY!!!  LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!!!  😍

Fancy Mini Catalog With Art Gallery Bundle...

"Wow, Ashley!  That is so fancy!" is what you are hopefully saying right now.  😂 (Just teasing!)  I do love this card and all the textures and fun you find as you look closer.   First of all...that gold splatter!  What?!?!!? 😮😮😮

Yes!  That is gold splatter.  Gold EMBOSSED splatter...to be exact!  I took some VersaMark reinker, took a Water Painter, and splattered a bit away.  Then added the Stampin' Gold Embossing Powder, heat set it, and there you have it.  I'm a bit in love.  I think it looks great with that embossed gold floral focal point also...

Love! LOVE!  💕Not to mention...all the other texture...the Vellum layer, the dry embossed detail, twine, those FABULOUS glittery Opal Rounds, curled corners, etc...

Overall...I am a bit of a fan of this card.  Kinda want to make more.  😀 What fancy cards are you making?!  I want to see!
