TGIF Challenge - 131: Eclipse Love

Technique Time for TGIF Challenge!!!!  💖💖💖  Who likes a fun and easy technique?!  Well I have one for you today!  Check out this challenge...

Have you tried this trendy new technique yet?!  I hadn't until this challenge!  And that's what I LOVE about these challenges...they make you try something new!  Love it! Here's the card I made for the challenge and then I will give you some tips for doing one of your own!  ...

Colors: Melon Mambo, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party
Cardstock/Papers Whisper White, Pool Party, Melon Mambo
Stamps: Banners For You
Tools: Everyday Label Punch, Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits
Accessories: Rhinestone Basic Jewels, 7/8" Striped Ribbon, Jute Twine, Foil Snowflakes, Acetate Card Boxes

This is an easy technique to do, but I think this card is definitely "punchy".  It's bright and cheery...and the pattern I stamped is pretty busy so I kept the rest really simple...so it was fairly quick to make!  Can't beat that.  😀  And this stamp set...SO FABULOUS!  One of my faves!  It's called "Banners For You" and has so many fun banners (& there are coordinating Framelits!  👏) with coordinating greetings and these fun flowers!!!  🎉

Here are the steps I took to make this card...

1.  Stamp the Whisper White card front piece (3 3/4" x 5") with your images.  I started with the largest stamp...the leaf in Lemon Lime Twist.  Then stamped the Melon Mambo flower, the Daffodil Delight circle, and last...filled in with the Pool Party dots.
2.  Use the Large Letters Framelits to cut out whatever word you want.  Here I used "love".  ***Tip: make sure to keep the inside pieces of your letters!***
3.  Adhere a piece of Melon Mambo cardstock, cut just slightly smaller than your Whisper White cardfront piece, to the back of the Whisper White piece.  This will make your word pop and have that shadow effect.
4.  Adhere the middle of the letters down...the letters will all just be solid Melon Mambo right now from the negative space of your die-cutting.
5.  Add Foam Adhesive Strips behind your letters (use this because of the height of this adhesive...it will give you a better "shadow" image) and adhere them over your Melon Membo letters, slightly off center, giving that shadow.
6. Add other embellishments and adhere to the front of your card base!

You are done!  How easy was that?!

I added some shimmer using the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush...I just colored over the flower images but you could use it wherever you wanted!  😀

One last look at the letters...

So hope you enjoyed this card and the tips to make your own!  Can't wait to see what you make!!!!  Head on over to the CHALLENGE BLOG to play along!!!!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!

Halloween Fun...

Who loves Halloween?!  I have to admit...I do!!! 🙋  I prefer to stick to the "giving away fun things" part of the holiday...instead of the spooky/gory part.  (Fun fact about me...I get scared SUPER easy...so I just don't do the haunted house type thing.) But really...any holiday where I get to make cute things and spread around holiday cheer...I'm all in.  Haha.  Here are just a few fun items I made for Halloween this year.  I actually did a Halloween class with these fun items ...

Look how cute they are!  They are all using the Spooky Night Suite!  LOVE!  (And just a little side note...these were also offered as Make & Take's at our night session at the Suite Stampin' Success Event I have been talking about. 😀)

First up, we have a fun decorative plate...

That cat with the coordinating cat punch just takes this over the top!!!!  Swoon!!! 😻

Then an "OWL"riffic candy jar...

Who wouldn't want to receive this as a fun little Halloween gift?!

And last but not least...a FABULOUS treat tube candy holder!  This is made with the Acetate boxes that are in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog.  We cut them in half and then put in 6 of the Treat Tubes also sold in that same catalog!  LOVE!!!

What do you think?!  Kinda fun, huh?!  LOVE these projects...if I do say so myself.  😀

Thanks for stopping by and visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!

Suite Stampin' Success Event ... September 2017

What do flying stars, banners, lots of fabulous people, & stamping galore all have in common?!  Check out the pics below to find out!  😂 These were all apart of the last "Suite Stampin' Event" that my friend & I put on.  Hee.  Ready for photo overload?!  I need to share some of the fun we had!!  This event took over my life for a bit, and I guess I've been playing catch-up a bit.  Which means I am late in posting!  So sorry!  BUT...here goes nothing!!!

So...a fellow demonstrator friend of mine and I put these events on about twice a year...

(Aren't we just precious.  😉 That is Wendy on the left and me on the right.)

These events are a demonstrator training event for our teams, as well as any other demonstrator that would like to come!  We even invite those that are thinking of signing up to be a demonstrator!  It is a rocking good time with demonstrations, make & takes, business training, food, fun, etc.  Here are some pics to share about the day...

We set the room up the night before.  Our cute hubby's come to help...

(Mark is on the left and is Wendy's cute hubby.  My hubby is on the right--Brian.  😀)

Look how well they hung up this cute banner!!!...

And seriously--check out this view...

So fun!  At these events...I really want everyone that attends to feel spoiled, loved, and appreciated...so we do our best to carry out this "theme" through the whole day.  Starting with the name tags they get when they check-in.  Check out these beauties...

And here I am with my name tag! 😀

And check out our cute check-in area...

I LOVE how the tables turned out...

With the fun centerpieces...

And fun place settings...

And of course we give out fun gifts/door prizes/etc!!  (However...this was the only pic I could find of the gifts.  I will find more pics soon and share!  😀)

We have swapping and recognitions and just lots of cuties that come.  Here are a few shots showing the fun...

(this is my AMAZING, WONDERFUL, FANTASTIC team that came!!!)

I can't believe how lucky I was to be able to share this day with such incredible people...

Hope you enjoy seeing a little view into this fun-filled day!  If you want more info on these events, I'd be happy to share or invite you next time!  Just let me know!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!
