Incentive Trip Centerpiece...

I have posted a few posts about the Incentive Trip in June that my up-upline did. (The term upline means the person you signed up to be a demonstrator under.  So my up-upline is the person that the person I signed up under...signed up under.  Clear as mud?!  :) )   I have to show you the FABULOUS center pieces that were in our "work" room.  (She had the room all set up for us to STAMP away!  This was where we spent most of our time and it was AMAZING!  :)  Here is view of the tables in the room...

(sorry it's kinda dark.)  That's my darling up-up line...Brandi...presenting the room.  She is AWESOME!!!

Then here is the centerpiece on the table...
LOVE LOVE LOVE the coordinating punches and buttons scattered around it!!!!

And then here are some close-up's of the MAGNIFICENT Centerpiece...

She used the Rosette die to make the big Rosette flowers. The largest flower uses the scallop edge, and the smaller flower uses the pointed edge.  I LOVE these colors together (Melon Mambo, Pink Pirouette, and Wisteria Wonder...the colors from the Flirtatious fabric) and just LOVE how she put it together.  That little pennant as the third "flower"....OH. MY. GOODNESS!!!  LOVE IT!!!  Seriously....we just ranted and raved about this.

Oh...how could I not point out how FABULOUS the stamping was on these.  NO...it's NOT Designer Series Paper...it's all stamped!!!  LOVE it!!!!

BUT THE BEST PART...our final surprise (of MANY, MANY surprises...she SPOILED us!!!) of the event was we each got to take one of these Centerpieces home!!!!  YAY!!!!!

I have to make sure you see this CLEVER way she held the flower and pennant in place in the arrangement...

She put fabric in the Mason jar and just stuck those wood skewers into the fabric to hold them in place.  GENIUS!!!  I will be trying this in the future!  :)

Then here is the lovely "filler" in the jar...

Are those beads?  Marbles?  What are they?!  Well....they are CHOCOLATE!  Sixlet candy in LUCKY LIMEADE color!  Can't get much cuter!  :-) Only bad part about it...the chocolate will be wasted because how can I ever eat that fabulously coordinated candy?!  :)  I just LOVE the look of it so much!!!!

I so hope you enjoy this project.  I know I enjoyed seeing it myself!  Go make some yourself and then show me yours!  :)

Thanks so much for visiting!!!

I Am So Lucky!

Want to know WHY I am so lucky?!  Well just look at this swap card I received....

(I did NOT make this card...a WONDERFUL and AMAZING Heather made this card!)

There are SO many details on this card!!!!  We had a card swap at an Incentive Trip I was fortunate to go to in June.  This was the card she made to swap with us.  Here are some close-up's of the details...
Seriously...AMAZING!!  The color combo and Designer Series Paper that is on this card is again from the Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin' Kit!  I will tell you...those kits are SO fabulous!  They are for SO MUCH MORE than scrapbooking!!!!

Now...you think this front is fabulous?!  (And it definitely IS!!!)  Look at the inside...
And a close-up of the presents...

She put so much time and effort into this card!  I SO appreciate it!!!  I LOVE this card!  Thanks, Heather!!!  :)

Make Any Event Special...

Want to share an idea with you that will help make any event you do feel so special to your guests that come.  This was given to me by my friend, Heather, when I went on an incentive trip in June.   (I have mentioned this in the past but haven't posted further details of our event...will still do that though...don't worry!  :) )  We did a little swap with the three of us that were there, and this is what she made us...

How fun is this?!  A bag of treats and a water bottle...all coordinating!  Here is the water bottle...
How fun is this little tag to hold a sweetener for your water?!  :)

And then the treat pouch...

Treats that coordinate with your drink?!  Can't get much better!!!  :)

Both of these items use supplies from the Afternoon Daydream Simply Scrappin' Kit...the cardstock colors and the Designer Series Paper.  Then just use the fun new Butterfly punch with some Rhinestones for some bling.

Hope you enjoy this!  Thanks SO MUCH Heather for sharing with me!

Super Fun Idea...

I HAVE to share with you this super cute idea I got at Convention.  Seriously....SO MUCH FUN!  I was in a swap where we made a bigger "class style" projects to trade with each other.  Yesterday's post was what I made for that swap...the wreath and frame.  This was one of the projects I received in the swap...

HOW CUTE IS THIS?!?!  Now again...this is something I received in a swap.  I did NOT make this.  But I LOVE it!  :)  She decorated the frame, added some netting stuff in the back, MADE the earrings with Stampin' Up! embellishments, and VOILA!  HOW cute?!?!  :)  Here are some close up's...

The earrings are made with the Vintage Faceted Buttons.  OH so fabulous!  :)  Hard to get a photo of since they are clear...but they are really fun in person!

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks so much for visiting!

Convention Meeting Swap...

My upline does a fun meeting at Convention every year.  We always stamp, eat, swap, and chat!  So here is the swap card that I made...

I love little "peek-a-boo" cards.  Here are some other pics so hopefully you can get all the details of this card...

The card base is Crumb Cake....LOVE LOVE LOVE this color!  :)  And then the rest of the colors:  Pool Party, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, and Melon Mambo.  Love the new butterfly set and butterfly punch.  So elegant and fabulous!  Love the Itty Bitty Banners also!

When you open the card up...
That cute butterfly is still there!  :)

Hope you enjoy this project and it inspires you in some way!  Thanks so much for visiting!!!

August Club 3D Project...

Here is the 2nd club project we made this last week. Click HERE to see the card we made.

Do you like this?!  Or are you thinking...what is this?! :-)  It may be hard to tell in this photo...but it's a lunch bag cut down to make a little gift bag.  Then the focal point is a removable flower so the recipient has a gift included in the bag!  Here is a side shot...
And the wonderful flower...

This flower uses some fun products...it's all adhered on the large Sticky Circles that are in the Mini Catalog.  They are pre-cut sticky circles that we wrapped the Ribbon Tulle around.  Then did some fun paper flowers in the middle.  And that new 1 1/4" Scallop with that FABULOUS button...SUPER fun!  :)  The back of the flower we put a hair clip on the back to make it re-usable.
This was a fun project to make...give it a try yourself!

Thanks for visiting!!!  Hope you enjoyed this project!

August Club Card...

This past week I had my monthly club night.  Again...as always...we had a great time!  I have some out of town club members that obviously can't come (but still get the benefits of club!  :) ) and I always miss them!  And miss the ones that do regularly come but couldn't make it this month.  I have a FABULOUS group of ladies and each one has become a dear friend to me.

On to why you are here...to see a stamping project!  Here is this month's club card.  (Club gals...you should have received the email with the Instruction sheet for both projects so let me know if you haven't! :) ) ...

Isn't this card so fresh and fun?!  I LOVE the color combo...taken straight from the NEW Orchard Harvest Designer Series Paper in the Holiday Mini!  (Can I get a WOOT WOOT for the Holiday Mini?!?!  It is FABULOUS!!!  If you don't have a copy...PLEASE let me know and I will send you one right out...for free!  designwithink@gmail.com)

The color combo:  More Mustard, Raspberry Ripple, Island Indigo, Early Espresso, and Lucky Limeade

SO MANY new supplies are used here.  The Early Espresso piece is the NEW Core'dinations Cardstock from the Mini.  You just run it through Big Shot with Embossing Folder and then Sand down using the new Sanding System.  And VOILA!  The lighter cardstock core is revealed after you sand!  It's a super fun technique.  Also use the FABULOUS new stamp set....Perfectly Preserved with the NEW Framelits Collection, Cannery.  And the background is done with the Flowering Flourishes stamp set...having LOTS of fun with that one!  :)

Here are two more close-up shots...

Had a blast making this card!  Hope you enjoy!  Thanks SO MUCH for visiting my blog!!!!!

Stampin' Up! CONVENTION...Downline Gifts...

(***Due to summer travel schedules I have been unable to post this at the regularly scheduled time!  So sorry for my delay!  :) ***

Stampin' Up! had their annual Convention in July!  OF COURSE I was there (since I live 20 mins from the convention center where they have it every year...how could I miss it?! :) ) and it was a BLAST!  Seriously....one of the best conventions EVER!  I loved every minute of it.  One of the BEST things about it...I had SIX of my downline members there with me!  They are all SO much fun and we had a great time together.  OF COURSE I wanted to have a gift for them to thank them for coming.  So today that is what I will share with you.

I have a picture of all of us that we took at the end of convention...but I forgot it is on someone else's camera.  So will have to get that picture and share later.  For now...here is the gift that I gave them...
I hope they loved it!  (They seemed to!)  I know I had fun making it for them!  (I don't know if you are like this...but I love making things for people because as I make whatever it is I am doing...I always think about them and different experiences we have had together.  And that ALWAYS makes me smile!  :) )

Now what is it?!  Well...first of all...everything was packaged in the WONDERFUL Gusseted bags that are in the NEW Holiday Mini.  Then inside I had a notebook similar to the one I posted HERE, some chocolate, and some gum.  Then what is that thing that is tied on the top?!  Well....we always get a Convention bag. And you can imagine that it can be difficult sometimes to keep track of your bag...when there are thousands of the same one floating around.  So I made them a fun fabric bag tag to tie on their bags.  Then I just tied it around the top of the bag as the decoration for the bag!  (And can't BELIEVE I forgot to get a picture of the Bag Tag TIED ONTO THE AMAZING CONVENTION BAG!!!  UGH!!!  It is SUCH a cute bag!!!!)

Here are some close-up pictures of the notebook...
I know I recently showed these notebooks for another event I was involved with.  (See link above to see those.)  But I love to give a notebook at this event so they have a place to jot down all the wonderful things that they learn!  So I just switched the notebook colors and papers to match the Flirtatious Fabric colors (Melon Mambo, Pretty in Pink, and Wisteria Wonder...then I threw in the Lucky Limeade) of the fabric that I made their bag tags with.  I LOVE coordination!

Then the bag tag...

They were all different.  And I used those WONDERFUL and AMAZING buttons that we used to sell that are now retired!!!

(BOOO HOOOO!!!!!  Or is it?!?!  These buttons are now on the CLEARANCE RACK! for CHEAP!!!  So I have stocked up on them so I can use them on everything!!!  Also....there was just some fabric added to the Clearance Rack for just $0.99!!!! Yes that's right!!!  Get THREE EXTRA LARGE Fat Quarters of coordination fabric for just $0.99!!!!  Go check it out on my website.... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net.  Then just click Shop Now and then Clearance Rack to see all the great deals!)

I hot glued some ribbon on the back of the tag so that we could just tie it to whatever bag we got.  (We never know what our bag will be until we get there so I didn't want to risk putting a pin on the bag and then not being able to pin it on anywhere.)  And again...they were all different...

Here's another shot of the bags all together....
Had a BLAST at convention!  You should come with us next year!!!!  :)

Thank so much for visiting!  Hope you have enjoyed this posting!!!!
