If you follow my blog you remember that I entered the Artisan Award, RIGHT?! :) Well...I found out at convention that
I WAS A FINALIST!!!!! There were 22 finalists...and I was one of them!!!! This made me feel better (also a bit worse :) ) that I got CLOSE at least!!! Maybe I will try again now. :) But they announced the finalists at the Awards Night and I got to stand up where I was sitting...they announced my name...and my name was on the Big Screen!!! Here is a pic of the screen...
And then I also found some of my projects on the display board. Top left corner is one of my scrapbook pages...
Smack in the middle is my flower card...
And on the shelf is my box with the coordinating candy (I love that they propped the candy up so you could see it!!)...
I actually found all my cards up there as well but I won't share all of them. You've seen them before. :) But thanks for letting me share that I was a finalist! I was really excited about it! :)

Girl, I am soooo goll dang proud of you!!! I can't believe this wasn't the 1st thing you showed us after convention!!! What a huge deal after only being in the "biz" for 2 years--bet some have been trying for years and never been mentioned!! I just want to walk in front of you for a month holding up a sign saying, "SU Artisan Award Finalist approaching"!! Oh, you just make me smile all over!!! I can't believe I know someone who's famous!!!! Yippee, skipppy and hallelujah!!! I'm gonna be smilin' all day long!!! xoxoxo
