Hello!  Welcome!  💗  Today I am continuing on with trying to catch up from summer time by sharing my AUGUST Stampin' Fancy Friday Challenge card with you!  I know...yikes!  Thanks for being patient with me!  And in case you don't have any clue what I am talking about ... I am on the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team!!! and it is a huge honor.  It is a team of past and present members of the Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team.  And each month there is a challenge that we all tackle to give you loads of inspiration throughout the month, with the hopes that you will follow along and create with us!  So let me just say ... following along with this challenge each month is WELL worth your time!  You can follow on Facebook by searching for Stampin' Fancy Friday or on Instagram: @stampinfancyfriday.  Then tag us in your posts!

August's challenge was a fun sketch.  I LOVE a good sketch.  It makes things so much fun to have a blueprint of inspiration and seeing where it takes you.  And you can take it where you want...and it can go a lot of different directions!  (Evidenced by following along and seeing how different the projects are that are contributed by the design team!)

I am going to show you my card first, and then I will show you the sketch.  Then you can see how it lead me.  And just a spoiler ... I LOVE space!  So yes...I want to use the Stargazing Suite in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog as much as I can.  I LOVE this suite!  😍😍😍 When I saw the sketch for this month, the first thing that popped into my head was this paper.  And I knew just where I was going with this month's project!

Colors Basic Black, Colors from designer paper: Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Blueberry Bushel, Orchid Oasis
Inks: Memento Tuxedo Black, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic Black, Basic White, Blueberry Bushel, Stargazing Designer Series Paper, Holographic Trio Specialty Paper
Stamps: Reach For the Stars
Tools:  Basics 3D Embossing Folders, Reach For the Stars Dies
Accessories: Basics Embossing Powder, Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack

Like seriously...a dream of mine is that I will one day need to wear a space suit like this.  And see planets in these exact colors up in space.  Hee.  I will share more about the card soon, but want to see the sketch now?  And see why this paper immediately jumped into my head?

Look at all those circles in the background!  LOVE IT!  And then instead of the circle focal image...I used the astronaut!

Here are just a few more pics of the details.  But I have to point out something you can see pretty well in the photo above.  The HOLOGRAPHIC stars!  I mean...come on!  They are SO GORGEOUS in real life.  And add so much depth.

It is somewhat difficult to photograph, so you may have to trust me a little.  But man!  I LOVE them!

I also really love the detail of the embossing on the designer paper.  I just used one of the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.  And instantly ... SO FANCY!  💖

So what do you think?  You can still participate in this challenge!  Even though I am late to posting my project, I would love to see what you make!  Go check out what the other designers made (Facebook: Stampin' Fancy Friday & Instagram: @stampinfancyfriday) and then tag us on what you make!

Please let me know if you have any questions or need me to explain any of the details!  I would also love to help you with all your paper crafting needs!  So reach out with anything I can help you with!

Thank you so much for visiting!

Wanted To Say Birthday!

Sharing a fun birthday card today where I mashed up a few different products.  I used the Beautiful Balloons & Curved Occasions Stamp Set with the Wanted to Say Dies.

Colors Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Fresh Freesia, Basic White
Inks: VersaMark, BLENDS: Flirty Flamingo, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Fresh Freesia
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Distressed Gold Specialty Paper, Adhesive Sheets
Stamps: Beautiful Balloons, Curved Occasions
Tools:  Wanted to Say Dies, Water Painter
Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels, Basics Embossing Powder, Wink of Stella Glitter Brush

A few notes about the card:
  • The streamer was stamped twice each time before re-inking, giving a variation of color.
  • I used different Blends markers & colored them on Basic White cardstock to get a more subtle tone of the colors than using cardstock.
  • I embossed the sentiment from Curved Occasions with white embossing powder over the colored Blends ink.
  • Cut out just the "happy" part of the sentiment and layer them onto the card.
  • Stars are die-cut from the Distressed Gold Specialty Paper.
  • Add Adhesive Sheet to Basic White cardstock before die-cutting it to make it a sticker.
  • After "Happy Birthday" was die-cut, I colored over it with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some shimmer.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!  I would be happy to help you with all of your papercrafting needs!  Thank you for visiting!

Whale Watching Sketch Time! TGIF Challenge #437

Who loves a sketch challenge?! 🙋 Yes, yes - I do too.  Hee.  Well...at least I hope you do. Because we have such a fun one for you this week over at the TGIF Challenge Blog!  The other designers and I have had a great time using this sketch to make some cards of inspiration for you!  And now we can't wait to see what you make! So check out my card, then head over to the TGIF Challenge Blog to see the others!  Then we would love you to make your own & submit it on our blog!

My card today is using two ☆NEW☆ stamp sets in the ☆BRAND NEW☆  Holiday Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!  The main one is the Whale Watching Stamp Set and the greetings are from the Curved Occasions Stamp Set.

Colors Bubble Bath, Coastal Cabana, Crumb Cake, Basic White, Basic Black
Inks: Coastal Cabana, Bubble Bath, StazOn Black
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Crumb Cake, Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Whale Watching, Curved Occasions (greeting)
Tools:  Deckled Circles Dies, Basics Embossing Folder
Accessories: Iridescent Pearl Basics Jewels, Linen Thread

I love the ocean & most things living in it.  😁  So of course I had to have this set.  And it is official...I'm obsessed with it.  And I am obsessed with this sketch!  😍  Hee.

A little tip for the waves.  I first just stamped each of the wave images twice on Basic White Cardstock in Coastal Cabana Ink.  Then I took a Blending Brush and added some of the same color to the waves.  Finally - I added some glitter with the Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush.

(Yes...I did stamp the one set of waves upside down.  Haha.)

Just cut them out, layer them on your project, and there you have some stunningly gorgeous waves on your project!

You may be asking yourself where I got the paper that I used for the Deckled Circle that grounds the whole card.  Hint...I used a Blending Brush here also!  I took a piece of the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper and blended some Bubble Bath Ink over the whole piece.  I LOVE how this looks and softens the design.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog now to see what the other designers made & to play along! Can't wait to see!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

It's A Bird's Eye View for a CASE with Stampin' Fancy Friday in July!

Hello!  It is a CASING challenge for this month over with Stampin' Fancy Friday!  I LOVE these challenges!  They are so much fun!  Because all you have to do is find a card that inspires you from the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team and CASE them!  I ♡ LOVE ♡ these challenges because there are SO. MANY. AMAZING designers on this team!  The hardest part is deciding which designer to case!

Today I am going to show you my card first, and then I will show you what card I CASE'd!  So let's start looking!

I LOVE the bird set in Stampin' Up's 2023-2024 Annual Catalog called Bird's Eye View. It is just so dang cute!  This set is the star of the show in this card!

I will share a few more photos of the details of this card, but first ... here is the card that I CASE'd.  I found this card that my dear friend, Martin, made, and I just had to use it!  I think you can see why when you see it...

How cute is that?!  Yeah...I loved it too!  Hee.  I want to CASE this card using a bunch of different stamp sets! But...until I can...here are some photos of the details of the card that I did make...

I hope you love this card as much as I do!  It was certainly a lot of fun to make!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  And go follow along to see what all the fabulous designers on the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team made!  Stampin' Fancy Friday on Facebook or @stampinfancyfriday on Instagram!  Then play along with us and post your own project and tag us! Zany Zoo Sunshine ... TGIF Challenge #431!

Another fun inspirational challenge this week for TGIF Challenge #431!  I am loving these fun and happy challenges this week.  This weeks inspiration is about one of my fave things...the SUN!  😊  Take this and run with it...use the colors from the challenge, the theme, something about your fave activity to do in the sun ... just go where it takes you!  Here is the card I ended up with ...

Colors Bubble Bath, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist, Pool Party, Petal Pink, Pumpkin Pie
Inks: Lemon Lolly, VersaMark, Assorted Blends Markers
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper, Basic Black
Stamps: Rays of Light, Circle Sayings (greeting)
Tools:  Nested Essentials Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Adhesive-Backed Sequin Trio

I am LOVING the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper.  One day when I was watching a movie, I just cut out all the little animals from this paper.  I have been wanting to use them for awhile, so I started with this challenge!  Look how cute they are!  And all outside enjoying the sun!  I stamped a little sunny "window" that is a fun little detail.  I actually stamped it on a back layer, and then die-cut the shape out of the top layer, embossed it, and adhered it with dimensionals so the sun was peeking out.  It was pretty fun to do!

I hope you enjoy this card!  I can't wait to see what you make!  Just head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog and submit your card to play along with us!

Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help with anything!  I would love to help you with all your paper crafting needs!  So please get in touch!  💗

Delightfully Eclectic Birthday Tag ...

We just celebrated my daughter's 10th birthday!  As part of the festivities of her birthday, I actually had a present for her & her friend.  I wanted them to feel special & I love how I can use my Stampin' Up! supplies to make a personalized detail to do just that.  My daughter's nickname is Boon, and she's been loving her nickname these days.  So I made a tag for these gifts, in her fave color.  And for her tag, I used her nickname instead of her real name.  Nothing crazy & time consuming, but she LOVED it and loved seeing her nickname in "print."

Colors Fresh Freesia, Basic White
Inks: Fresh Freesia, Bubble Bath
Cardstock/Papers: Fresh Freesia, Basic White, Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper, Holographic Trio Paper, Vellum
Stamps: Cheerful Daisies
Tools:  Nested Essentials Dies, Alphabet A La Mode Dies
Accessories: Brushed Brass Butterflies

I really love the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper pack.  SO. MANY. FUN designs!  I added a layer of vellum over the paper to tone it down and make her name pop more.  And added a strip of the Holographic Trio Specialty Paper under her name.  Can we talk about HOW MUCH I LOVE the Holographic Paper?!  It is SO MUCH FUN!!! And gorgeous.  It shimmers and shines and changes in all the light.

These gifts were so much fun!

Hope you enjoy this!  Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  I would be happy to help you with all your paper crafting needs!

Delightfully Eclectic for Father's Day!

Sorry this is late in posting, but I made a few cards for Father's Day that I just want to share.  And ☆BONUS☆ ... they could EASILY be switched around for any occasion that you need a card for!  It is simply cardstock, designer series paper, a punch, and a greeting...with a little bling! And using a fun paper pack, like I used the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper for these cards, adds such variety!  I made all four of these cards in about 20 mins!

Colors Basic White, Soft Sea Foam
Inks:  Tuxedo Black Memento Ink Pad
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Soft Sea Foam, Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper
Stamps: He's All That
Tools:  Bough Punch
Accessories: Tinsel Gems Three-Pack

Here are a few more photos of the individual cards ...

And just a quick pic of the greeting detail ...

And look at all the fun patterns that come in the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper ...

I love these cards and can't wait to make more myself with all the patterns.  😍
