Halloween Treats...

Yesterday my daughter had her Halloween party at preschool. I wanted to bring the teacher/helpers/kids some Halloween treats so off to my stamp room I went. :) For the teacher I just made one of the paint cans that we made in my Halloween class and filled it with chocolate. I didn't get a picture of it all filled with candy...but here is one when it had just tissue paper in it...
It says "trick-or-treat" around it and also has a Decor Element bat on the back. Then you can see how the top is decorated. It looked cuter with candy in it. :) For the helpers I made a chocolate filled mini jar...I love these bats! I have used this bat punch a LOT this holiday season. TOO CUTE! I sprayed these with some silver shimmer spritz and added some rhinestones for some bling. (I won't even tell you how many packages of those self-adhesive rhinestones I have gone through since they premiered in July. :) ) Here is a front shot of the top of the jar...
Then for the 4-year olds I went SIMPLE! Seriously....I made 25 of these in NO TIME at all. I just took a pack of M&M's, wrapped a belly band around, and used that fabulous "Batty For You" set for some images on the front...
So easy and simple...I really wanted to do much more. But then I remembered that 4-year olds will just rip the package open and eat what's inside. They don't really care. I still wanted them festive though...so there you go! (Oh...and I used some retired Halloween paper that I had still. LOVE this stuff!!!!) Here is a close up of the little focal point...
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting! Can I just say...I LOVE Halloween!!!! :)

Filled With Love Returns...

Here is another card I made with the fun "Filled With Love" stamp set. This one was fun to do...love the colors, the punched out hearts (LOVE coordinating punches and stamp sets!!) the bling on the greeting, and LOVE LOVE LOVE that striped ribbon!!!!! Here is the card...

And a close-up of the Clear Rhinestone that adds the bling...
Just a quick card that will hopefully inspire you somehow! Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!

Candy Wrapper Die...With a Twist...

I LOVE LOVE the new Candy Wrapper Die that is in the Mini catalog. It's quite fun to play with. For this little Halloween Treat, I changed it just a bit. Instead of twisting both ends closed...I made one of the ends into a box bottom by just cutting slits up the score lines (just to the first score line). Then adhered the ends together to make a little box like this...
Then you just fill it up with treats, and twist the top to hold it closed. Then for looks...I tied the ribbon around it. But it doesn't need it to keep it closed. That pumpkin is from the "Got Treats" set and the greeting is from the "Grateful Greetings" set. The colors are Peach Parfait, Wild Wasabi, Basic Black, and Whisper White. Oh...and I cut the Candy Wrapper out of cardstock and then ran it through the Big Shot again with the Spider Web embossing folder. Then I spritzed it like crazy with some Smooch Spritz to make it really shimmer. Here is a top view where you can also see some of the shimmer...
Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!!!

Fall Inspiration...

Look at this fun card I received in the mail!!!!
Thanks, Debi! I love it! I love the stripes in the background, the images across the top, the colors...it just was so much fun! I loved it so much that I had to take it to my stamp room to use for some inspiration . This is the card I came up with...
How much fun is that?! I went a little nutso with the Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper (DSP) that is in the mini catalog. And the paper has a cool texture to it that really adds to the card. But all I did for the background was just cut strips of different patterns of the DSP and adhered it to a large piece of the DSP. Oh...before I did that I swiped all the edges with Early Espresso Ink. (Most of the edges of this entire card are swiped with that ink.) Then I used the "Falling Leaves" stamp set for the main images. I added a Mini Library Clip. I actually had some Linen Thread tied in a bow on the clip, but it must have fallen off before I took the picture. Oops. I really liked that element on it. :) The rest of the card I think you can figure out. Here is a close-up...
The colors I used are More Mustard, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, and Old Olive. Another close-up...
I really love this card. Thanks so much for the card, Debi, and the inspiration!!! :)
Thanks for visiting! Hope you enjoy!!!

Want to Make Projects Like These?!??!...

Wednesday was our CLUB DAY for the month of October!!! And it was our LAST month of club for this round! So what does this mean for YOU?!?! It's time to start a NEW round of CLUB!!! And I have a few open spots!!! So...if you want to get together once a month to make some fun projects for FREE...now is the time to join! There is even an out of town option and you will still get your projects for FREE!!! What do you have to do to participate?!

  • One of the months you get FREE hostess products!!! (A minimum of a free hostess stamp set and $15.00 of FREE merchandise.)
  • Get TWO FREE projects EVERY month!!!

That's about all there is to it! If you have interest in being apart of this FUN Stamper's Club...just email me at designwithink@gmail.com. And so you can see the type of projects we make...here are the ones we made Wednesday...

First one is this fun fall card! (We did Halloween last month, Fall/Thanksgiving this month, and will do Christmas the next two months!!!) I LOVE how this card came out. I got this card idea from a card making night my upline did for all of her downline. There were some FUN and FABULOUS cards made that night! This card is just a little different because I didn't have the stamp set they used. So I changed it to use a stamp set I had. Easy, Peasy!!! Here is a close up of the focal image...
And in two of the corners I did a little background stamping for just a little added interest...
For our 3D project we made this DARLING notebook! I have made ones like these before with the larger scallop square die and the Big Shot. When I saw the Scallop Square Duo in the mini catalog, I had to try it with that...
HOW SWEET IS THIS?! It's about 3x3 in size. I was thinking it would be a cute little gratitude journal. Whenever you think of things you are grateful for in your life, just jot them down here. Then when you are having a bad day you can read about all the good things in your life!!! Perfect for this season we are about to begin. :)
Here it is all spread out...
This Designer Series Paper is FABULOUS! I picked this stuff because it is TEXTURED and cardstock weight! Perfect for the cover of the notebook. And I just ran them through the Big Shot with the Scallop Square Duo. Then I took 12 Very Vanilla squares and did the same thing. (It cut about 6 sheets at a time...maybe even a few more but that's what I did.) Then I just punched a hole through it all with the Crop-A-Dile (YES IT GOES THROUGH ALL THE LAYERS!!!) and put my Binder Ring in the hole. Easy peasy and so much fun! There are lots of these that will be made in my future I believe. :) Here is one more shot from the side...
Again...if you are interested in joining a fun club...just send me an email...designwithink@gmail.com. You can be local to me (Kaysville, Utah) or long distance (just have to live in the United States) to join! Would love to have you!

Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy!!!

A Little More Love...

Just a few more samples with the "Filled With Love" set. I designed these for a card night my upline provided for all of her downline. I wasn't able to attend...but so glad I got to help anyway! :) Here are the first of two of the cards...
I love the border on both sides of the Designer Series Paper. The colors are Blushing Bride, Basic Gray, and Melon Mambo. I'm really lovin' this color combo. It's all on a Confetti White card base. I think Confetti White cardstock gets overlooked. It's a very thick and sturdy cardstock, and it has little flecks of different colors in it...so it adds that special touch. Love it! Try it! :)
All three of the colors up close. Isn't it a fun combo?!? And love that heart stamp and love that it is so easily punched out with the heart punch.
And yes..this card needed some bling! :) (What card doesn't really?!?! :) )
Here is the other card...
It's a 3x6 card...and so easily done. Just make a simple tag and use it as your focal point. Love these colors together too: it's River Rick, Cherry Cobbler, and Baja Breeze. TRY this one! I LOVE it!!!
LOVE the Cherry Cobbler seam binding in the Mini catalog also. It's FABULOUS!! And those jumbo eyelets...LOVE LOVE these.
I hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!!!

Love to be "Filled With Love"...

When I saw the "Filled With Love" set in the Holiday Mini...I was so excited. I LOVE that set! I just had to have it. So today I wanted to show you a few samples using this set.

First up is a super fun and bright color combo. It's Tempting Turquoise, Pear Pizzazz, and Rose Red. I will definitely be using this color combo more because I LOVE it! :) Here is the card...
Super simple and easy! Just some stamp, Designer Series Paper (it's the Tempting Turquoise patterns paper from the Brights Paper Pack), some White Taffeta Ribbon, some paper piercing, and some scalloping and you are done! :) Here is a close up of the button/ribbon/piercing combo...
All I did was just tie the ribbon on normally. Then just used some Linen Thread to tie the button around the ribbon knot. Super easy but love the look.
Here is another card I made using that same set...
LOVE this little heart flower. Think it's so much fun and so cute. I added a little Basic Rhinestone sticky on the last heart flower...
This color combo is a great one too. It's Crumb Cake, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie, Pretty in Pink, and Pear Pizzazz. (LOVE that green!!!!)
Hope you enjoy and thanks for visiting!!!
