HUGE SALE Reminder...

Just wanted to remind you that you have until THIS MONDAY (the 30th) to take advantage of the FABULOUS Holiday Extravaganza Stampin' Up! is offering! (And you DON'T HAVE TO FIGHT THE LINES AND TRAFFIC AND PARKING, etc.!!! :) ) Seriously...I can't believe HOW AMAZING these offers are! I don't want you to miss out so make sure you check out the list! (Click on the picture above to be taken to my post with the lists so you can see everything on sale!) One of my favorite bundles is the FRAMED WITH LOVE Bundle. You get the Framed With Love Stamp Set AND the Full Heart punch for like $6.00 LESS THAN what JUST the STAMP SET costs normally! Get a discount on the stamp set PLUS A FREE PUNCH!!! Seriously...I am SO EXCITED still. :) Anyway: here are a few projects that I recently made with this stamp set. It's SO much fun! First up...
Here is a fun treat holder that would be great for teacher gifts, co-workers, etc. You could even put an ornament in the bag and make it more Christmas-y or for whatever occasion you needed. I just took a 3x4 piece of Pretty in Pink textured card stock and folded it in half. Then put it on top of a small cello bag and staple. Cover up the staples with ribbon or your decor. (Change the size of the card stock and use the medium or large cello's as well.) Decorate however you want and you have a cute treat all ready to go! Here is a pic of just the topper...

The color combo is again Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, and Melon Mambo. I know I've used this combo quite a bit lately....it's my fave. :)
Here is another treat that would be perfect to hold any small item...

This is actually done with the Big Shot Bag With Scallops Die. Instead of folding the Scalloped Flap down, I just kept it up and made it an open box. Here is a picture of the box without the treat bag in it...
I love that image in the scallop circle at top. All of these stamped images (except for the "friend to friend" sentiment are using the "Framed With Love" stamp set. Too much fun! And such a versatile set. The color combo here is Kraft, Chocolate Chip, Not Quite Navy, and Old Olive.
Thanks for visiting! Hope you're inspired. :)

Everyone that places an order with me from now until November 30th will be entered in to a drawing to win this stamp set!!!! This is the stamp set, "The More the Merrier" that is a hostess only stamp set, Level 3. It is DARLING! It's a set of 10. I will do the drawing on December 1st! So take advantage of those Holiday Extravaganza sales AND get the chance to win a free stamp set!!!! Let me know if you have any questions!!

More Box Fun..

Sorry for the lack of variety...I know I just posted one of these boxes. With these colors as well. But what can I say?! I am OBSESSED with these boxes now. :) They are SO much fun and so stylish. And HEY! I used a few things on special right now. These boxes are part of the "Buy $50.00 in product from the Holiday Guide and get a free Decor Element" promotion you can read about HERE. And the stamp set and Scallop Square punch I used are part of the FABULOUS Holiday Extravaganza you can read about HERE. (You can get BOTH this Four Square stamp set AND the Scallop Square punch for LESS THAN you can normally buy JUST the punch for!!!!) OH!!! And the ribbon is part of the Holiday Extravaganza as well. (You get a roll of this color (Rose Red) AND a roll of Bashful Blue 1" Double Stitched Ribbon for just a bit more than you normally pay for just ONE roll!!!) Here are the pictures of the box...

On this one, I didn't make a ribbon closure. I just tied the ribbon around the top of the box. You don't have to un-tie it to open it. You just flip up the magnetic flap and it opens. Here is a side view...
Ok...so you may be wondering what that Designer Series Paper is. Well let me tell you...it is FUN!!! This is the "Bride Speciality" Designer Series Paper! Yes...I know...it is all white when you get it. Well....all I did was ink up my brayer in Pretty in Pink ink and run it over the paper a few times. The small line is indented a bit so the ink just gets on the wider line that sits up a bit higher. Now you can have Designer Series Paper in ANY color! Seriously.....IN LOVE with this right now! :) It is SO pretty! I wish you could see how pretty it really is in person. The camera just doesn't capture it's pure beauty! :) Here is the box when you open it...

And yes! I have a set of more 3x3 cards in this box! These are made with the same supplies as the top of the box is decorated. More of that yummy Bride paper inked with Pretty in Pink, Rose Red 1" Double Stitched Ribbon, the Four Square Stamp Set, and the Scallop Square punch.
Here is a pic of all the cards with coordinating envelopes...
And two of the cards close up...
If you look closely at the square, you can see that I stamped each image twice...once on Whisper White (which I punched out with the 1 1/4" Square punch) and once on Pretty in Pink. With the Pretty in Pink one...I just cut out the part I wanted and adhered it to the square with a dimensional.
Here are the next two cards...
And here is a close-up of the "hi" card. You can see the flower is the part I cut out of the Pretty in Pink and adhered with a dimensional...
Then a close-up of the Happy Birthday one. This one I was really trying to get the paper and how shiny it is. But you can also see the "happy" part at the top...
This was such a fun project and now I have a great gift set to give! The receiver then has a "Happy Birthday" card, a "Thanks" card, a "Hi" card, and a "Congrats" card. I really am loving this project. Seriously...I might cuddle with this one tonight. :) (Am I the only one that wants to cuddle with some of the projects they make?! :) Hehe. ) Come over and see it in person...anyone that wants to! :) It's so pretty in real life!!

Thanks for visiting and hope you enjoy!

Flower Fold Box FUN!!

I had SO much fun today making this project. My daughter was playing right along with me in my stamp room...and being so good! So thanks to her I was able to complete this today! :) Have you seen the Magnetic Boxes in the mini catalog? Today was the first day that I have played with them and they are FUN!!!! Here is a picture of the top of the box...

Now...these boxes come flat, and you just kinda pop them up to make the box. It's so easy and they are so sturdy as well. The boxes are Chocolate Chip and just fabulous! They close magnetically, so you do NOT need to add the ribbon closure like I did. I just thought it added a fun touch so I did. Here is a close up...
Just in case you don't know...the flowers are from the "Flower Folds" Big Shot die. And they are SO MUCH FUN! They have fold lines in them when you cut them out, so I just kinda bent them up a bit to give it a nice 3D look. The middle of the flower was stamped with an image that is from the Pick-A-Petal stamp set...punched out with the 1 1/4" circle punch. Then it's adhered to the box with dimensionals. Oh...I added the ribbon before I adhered that by just putting sticky strip on the top and bottom of the box. Now...this makes a great gift packaging but what is inside?! :) When you open it up this is what you get...

Look at these fun cards! I have 4-3x3 cards and coordinating envelopes in here. You could fit more if you smooshed them down. :) Here are all the cards...
This picture didn't turn out the greatest. But those envelopes I just stamped another flower from the "Pick A Petal" stamp set and then adhered a punched out circle on top. Oh..the color combo is Melon Mambo, Chocolate Chip, and Pretty in Pink. Here is a close-up of one of the cards...
And another...

And then a close-up of one of the flowers and center...
I hope you enjoy this project! I can't wait to do more with these boxes! They are SO fun and fabulous! Thanks for visiting! Enjoy!

Stay Tuned....

TOMORROW Stampin' Up! is starting an ONLINE EXTRAVAGANZA!!! I will post details AS SOON as I know! :) Just wanted to make sure you were aware it's COMING!!!

Kylie's Notebook...

My daughter got this little notebook for Halloween from preschool that she has LOVED. It was quite small and fun for her to carry around with her. She has spent so much time drawing in that notebook...it's just so cute. Well...she finally has used it all up. Plus...a little water was spilled on it so it kinda warped the cover. Anyway: I told her I would make her one today and this is what I did...
This Designer Series Paper is from the Tall Tales paper pack. I cut out that frame in Rose Red cardstock, using the Lots of Tags dies from Stampin' Up! Then I punched out a Wide Oval in So Saffron Textured Cardstock. I didn't want to do too much to it...because it's going in a 3 year old's hands (although she is actually really good with her stuff). But I kept it pretty minimal. All I did was cut out 3 of the flowers from a scrap piece of paper I had in that pattern and put them on with dimensionals. Her name is cut out using Stampin' Up!'s Billboard Alphabet Die. Here are a few more shots...
The size of the notebook is about 3" x 5 1/2" or so. These are super easy to make. You just cut some paper (I just used regular copier paper) to whatever size you want. Then cut a piece of Designer Series Paper the same size. Fold in half, staple in the middle, and you have a notebook. I do cut the bottom off a tad after it's all put together because after you fold it, it is a bit off.

Here is a close-up of her name and flowers.
She LOVED her notebook. When I gave it to her she says, "OH! You put my name on it!" She went to get her crayons right away to start coloring in it. I think I'm going to make these for every child I know. And every adult for that matter! :) Hehe. (How fun THAT would be to accomplish!!! :) )

Thanks for visiting! I hope you enjoy!

"Clearly" Fabulous...

Window sheets are SO much fun to play with. They are great for cards, scrapbook pages, and ESPECIALLY 3D items. I just have a very quick project to share with you today. I made a box using the Fancy Favor Big Shot die (but you could make any kind of box with these) and the medium Window Sheets. So easy to make a fun Christmas favor! (I took pictures with a red background so you could see the box better.) Here is the box...

And a side view...
And a close up of the tree on the front...

I added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the bottom of the tree and then also added a Rhinestone brad at top for some sparkle. Also...if you look in the bottom corner you can see the "be merry" sentiment. I just stamped this with White Staz-On ink. Stamps great on the window sheets!!!
And then a top view so you can see the fancy border around the top and the fun treats inside! You could add any treat to this box and anyone would LOVE to get it! Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Night and Day Album...

I have a SUPER fun project to share with you today! It is using the Night and Day Designer Series Paper that is in the holiday mini and it's FABULOUS! I have been trying to think of something to do with this paper to really show it off. And I'm loving this project. Here is a pic...

This album is SO EASY to make! It has all those different tabs that you flip to see all the pages. I should have taken a pic of each page. But here are the first few tabs close up...
I used the Fundamental Phrases stamp set to stamp a word on each tab. And then just used the Round Tab punch to make the tabs. With the black and white pages, I wanted one color to make things pop. I finally decided on Melon Mambo and it's perfect! Although if you were doing this for a boy, Bermuda Bay would be super great too. Here is a pic of the top view...
So all the pages flip and reveal the next page. I will put some photos in this and then take some more pictures of it too. Now all you do to make this is cut 4 strips of paper to 4 1/2" x 12". Then score one of the sheets at 2", one at 3", one at 4", and one at 5". Then just put them together in order. Secure the middle (I just stapled it) and you have your album. Embellish however you want!
Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Notebook Fun...

I love making little notebooks. I think they are so much fun. I saw one in the Stampin' Success magazine we get as demo's and so I wanted to make one. Here was my version of it...

That's a chipboard frame that I stamped on with Classic ink. And then I sponged around the edges. The colors are Old Olive and Not Quite Navy. I love this little stamp set too. It's called Note to Self I believe. I also used the Big Shot texturz plates for the background...
Can you see that swirly pattern in the back? This is just a fun little notebook to pop in your purse or wherever. Here it is from the top...
Just add whatever kind of paper you want. I used just regular printer paper but you can use cardstock or lined paper or whatever. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

November Club Day...

Today was club day! I have so much fun on club days. They are a blast. I just wanted to share the projects that we made today. We made this Thanksgiving/Grateful card...
I love this card. I got this card idea at that Demo meeting I went to. Love this! So cute. The leaves (from the "Falling Leaves" set) are punched out with the 1 1/4" punch...and that makes this card a breeze to complete. Here is a close-up...
The background is wheeled with the coordinating jumbo wheel. I forget how GREAT the wheels are. They are a lot of fun to use!
The next project we did was this Post-It note holder. There is even space to hold a pen!

Can I even tell you HOW MUCH I love this penguin! :) He is SO CUTE! He is from the Cold & Cuddly stamp set that is in the mini catalog. Here is a close-up so you can see the Post-Its...

The iceberg I even sprayed with the Shimmer Spray I made with the Frost White Shimmer Paint. You can't really tell in the photo but it's super fun in real life. And then when you open it up...here is your Post-It pad to write on...
I hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting! I am starting a new club round in January. Email me at designwithink@gmail.com if you have questions/would like to know more/want to join/etc. You can live by me and attend in person or you can live long distance and still take advantage of the benefits. You will get two free projects each month, get to grow your stamping supplies on a budget, and even earn FREE stuff! Let me know if you would like to know more! :)

Stripe-y Artful Amaryllis!

Have you checked out the Artful Amaryllis Bundle in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalog?  It is a fun one and I couldn't wait to play...
