Let's Celebrate For the Love of Felt!!

One of my VERY favorite stamp sets, we have to say good-bye to in just a few days.  😭  It is the For the Love of Felt Stamp Set, and I LOVE it so much!  So...here is one final card using this fabulous stamp set...

I totally love this color combo.  Purple Posy, Melon Mambo, Granny Apple Green, & Coastal Cabana.  LOVE!  It's so fresh and fun!  And I am also going to MISS this Corrugated Embossing Folder.  LOVE it!!!  💕

And how much do you love these layered flowers?!  I just can't get enough of them!  I love the bold shape and design.  Just makes everything pop!

Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper Copy...

My friend, Charlet (Check her out at Painted Orange), posted the CUTEST card the other day.  And I happened to need a masculine card.  So I just pretty much shamelessly copied her.  Thank you, Charlet!!!  Here is the card:

Seriously The Best Blends Rainbow...

I saw a card today created by the FABULOUS Melody Hyde (over at @hammondandpenny) that had a rainbow made with Blends Markers.  Well I LOVED it and decided I better make a Blends rainbow card also!  😃 So off to my craft room I went!

I need to go back and try it again, but I really do love a good rainbow! 

Love the texture additions with embossing, distressing, and splatter!

These "clouds" are done with the Pretty Label Punch.  I just looked at my punches to find something that looked like a cloud and say that.  Thought it works pretty well!  I'm going to miss this when it retires!  I am also going to totally miss this stamp set...it is called Seriously the Best and it truly lives up to its name! 

Added a little gold to the side of the rainbow as my nod to "gold at the end of a rainbow."  This was a fun card to make!  You should give it a try!  Just pick your Blends colors, swipe some color on, and squeal with glee!  😀

I always love playing with Stampin' Up!'s fun & fresh In Colors.  I realized I haven't used them as much lately, so I figured it was time to change that!  So for today's card, I challenged myself to use Seaside Spray & Rococo Rose.  Then I just mixed in a few neutrals.  Love this nautical card!

I always love a fun watercolor wash...and that was where I brought in the Rococo Rose color...

Love the layers & details of this card...like the distressed edges.  Just drag your Paper Snips across the edges of your cardstock, use your Bone Folder to curl a corner and break up the cardstock fibers, and then separate the layers of the cardstock.

Timeless Tropical Stripe...

I MISS THE BEACH!  Since I can't get there (I am actually supposed to be in Hawaii right now.  😭😭😭)...I have to make a tropical card to bring some tropics to me.  Hee.  So thank you Timeless Tropical Bundle!

I honestly would go back and fix a bunch of things.  But I was finishing this up at dinner making time, so I hurried to finish to go do some cooking!  My fave part though is the watercolored stripe background...

It was SO easy to make!  Just get some Coastal Cabana ink on an Aqua Painter, and paint some quick stripes onto Shimmery White cardstock.  Hard to tell in photo, but it is so shimmery in real life...

I used the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set and the In the Tropics Dies for the majority of this card.  The Stitched Rectangle Dies & Subtle Embossing Folder were also used for some added texture. And I love these little white flowers:

Seaside Notions Sketch...TGIF Challenge 263!

I think this sketch is such a fun one that you could use a million different ways!

Love those sand dollars!  I embossed a piece of Coastal Cabana cardstock with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  Then when I cut out the sand dollars from the same colored cardstock, and just adhered it over the embossed card piece, it makes a subtle "pop" that I love.  😊

These shimmer in real life, because I colored over them with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush.  So trust me...they sparkle.  Hee.  LOVE all those layers! 😍

I love the "fancy fold" of this card!  The whole focal point is a flap!

I just scored and folded the right side of the Nested Stitch Label Die, and adhered it to the inside of the card.  Then adhered that strip of Designer Series Paper over it to make it all neat and tidy.  😀

I love the detail on this whole flap too...that beautiful swirly piece in the background is from the Detailed Bands Dies.  😍  Swoon!

I can't get enough of the Tropical Chic Stamp Set and Tropical Dies!  (Maybe because I really wish I could go somewhere tropical right now!!!)  So when the #30daycardmakingchallenge LAST DAY'S challenge is all about doing something we want to do...well OF COURSE I grabbed that stuff!  😀  I am SO EXCITED to share this card today!!!

Look at all that layered tropical goodness...put together in such a fun and unique way!  I am excited to share the "story" behind this card, because there is one!  Hee.  I did something with this card that I have been wanting to do for a long time.  (So I love how that fits the challenge too so well!)

Do you have "crafting greats" that you admire so much?!  People where EVERYTHING you see of there's, you just swoon over?!  Well I do too!!!  And for this card...I CASE'd TWO of them!  I have received 2 cards that I just LOVE and wanted to recreate.  So for this challenge...I combined them both to make this one!  Here are those cards:

Aren't they both just SO stunning?!?!  LOVE LOVE LOVE!  The one on the left is made by Lauren Alarid, aka Crafty Little Peach.  The one on the right is made by Melody Hyde, aka Hammond and Penny Cards.  So I am SO HAPPY that I finally took the time to copy these geniuses!

I just love that "window" with the layered goodness underneath...

I watercolored the background ayer with Coastal Cabana.  Then I sponged the tropcial leaves with Shaded Spruce & Granny Apple Green inks before stamping onto Shimmery White cardstock.  Then die-cut like crazy (also did some die-cuts with Vellum, Perennial Essence Vellum Cardstock, and Gold Foil) and layer it all together!

The background of the card, I embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder.  In real life, it helps the whole thing pop just a bit more:
