Greece Cruising Journal...

I still can't believe I am on a Greece cruise, that I earned from Stampin' Up!  My heart wants to explode.  (If you are not already, follow me on Instagram or Facebook (OR BOTH!) at Design With Ink because that is where I will be posting any updates from the cruise!)

But THIS project was fun to make.  I wanted a little place to keep notes of things I wanted to remember, put pictures, etc, so I used the NEW Pressed Petals Journal and made this fun thing:

Colors: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Seaside Spray
Inks: NONE!
Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White Thick, Shimmery White, Vellum, Gold Glimmer, Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper
Stamps: NONE!
Tools: Stitched Labels Dies, Layering Circles Dies, Leaf Punch
Accessories: Pressed Petals Journal, Seaside Spray 1/2" Scalloped Linen Ribbon, Gold 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon, Sweet Soiree Ready Shreddie

This was the logo Stampin' Up! used for the trip, and I just loved it. This little book just literally makes my heart smile.  💗  Love these little details:

And YES!  These journals come with that fun embossed cover!  Swoon!  😍😍😍

I made a couple extras for some friends.  😁  And it may be even cuter all wrapped up.  I also added a package of Stampin' Up!'s journaling pens...

I definitely fell in love with this journal as I was making these!

PS....this shreddie in the box is still on Stampin' Up!'s clearance rack when I last looked.  I bought quite a bit because it is so much fun to use.  Go grab some while you can!!!

Thank you so much for visiting!  And thanks to my team and customers for your love and support that helped me get on this cruise boat!  I can't wait to share all the details with you because I AM SOOOO GRATEFUL!!!!!  💗💗💗

Please let me know if I can help you with anything!!!!

Summer Memories...

Summer is BY FAR my favorite season.  I love it more than I can express.  This summer, we took a last minute weekend trip to Yellowstone...and it was a blast!  We grabbed some of my family that were able to make it, rented a beautiful cabin in the woods nearby, and just had such a blast together.  Just goes to show that it doesn't have to be a huge production to have a good time.  A simple weekend, being together, is enough.  Anyway....I actually made a scrapbook layout with a couple of my fave pictures from the trip.  (I have MANY more faves, just to be clear.  Hee.  😀)   So want to see?!

ColorsPetal Pink, Night of Navy, Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam
Cardstock/Papers Crumb Cake, Soft Sea Foam, Night of Navy, Twinkle Twinkle Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Wood Words, Timeless Textures
Tools: Big Shot, Sunshine Wishes Thinlits
Accessories: Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins, Colored Doilies, Silver & Pool Party Baker's Twine

I have a group picture on here of all of us that went, and then a picture of me & one of my daughters on the other side.  I will be making this into a double page spread, and will have a picture of me with my other two girls on the other side.  💕

Here are a few pics of some of the details...

Can we talk about this paper pack?!  It's from the "Twinkle Twinkle" Designer Series Paper and is one of my most fave packs!  I may not have any babies in my house, but I have used this paper for SOOOO many occasions!  They are just fun patterns in an AWESOME color combo!

And can we talk about the Basics Self-Adhesive Sequins?!  Swoon.  Swoon!  😍  I won't admit to how many packs I've already gone through.  Haha.

I will forever love the "Wood Words" stamp set.  I have used that one SOOOOO much!  It's such a fun one that goes for any occasion!

Thanks so much for visiting!  Are you recording your memories?!  What's your favorite way to do that?!

Pop Of Pink Flip-Book....And a Flashback...

So TOMORROW is my 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator (demo)!  Wow!  I kinda can't believe it.  I can't believe how grateful I am to be a part of such an amazing company--one that cares about people, cares about operating with integrity, cares about offering quality products, and the list goes on. I feel very lucky.

My club project this month was a throwback to one I made like this at the Founder's Circle I earned when I was a Rising Star.  (One of the top 15 new demo's the first full year that I was a demo...I was #10!)  One of our Make & Take's at this event was this fun flip-book album.  Here was my take on it that we did for club this month (I thought it would be easier to show you how it works with a video.  Then there are still pictures below)...

(Looks like the video didn't upload great.  Sorry for the bad quality.  I hope it at least gives you an idea of how it works.)

How fun is that?!  I hope you enjoy!  Here are picture of the album before pictures were added...

ColorsMelon Mambo, Pool Party, Basic Black, Whisper White, Cucumber Crush
StampsYou've Got This, Sunshine Sayings
Tools: Aqua Painter
Accessories: Pop of Pink Designer Series Paper, Pop of Pink Washi Tape, Watercolor Paper, Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush, Gold Sequin Trim, Melon Mambo 1/8" Ribbon

This is the cover.  LOVE this flower from the "You've Got This" stamp set!  We colored it on watercolor paper with an Aqua Painter and ink. We added some glitter with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush after it was colored.  (***Note: you can actually use the Wink of Stella pen as your Aqua Painter also.)

Then here are the pages in order of how you open the book...

Sooooo...what do you think?!?!?!

Hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com.

In Memory Of...

I have been very fortunate to have four fabulous and amazing Grandparents.  Three have passed away already, and it has left holes in my heart.  I miss them terribly.  I made a 12x12 layout of my Mom's parents...they have both passed on to the next life.  I love so much about this page: the color combo, the fun embossing, the layout, but most of all--the picture of them.  My Grandma HATED pictures of herself, but I am sure glad she let us take some anyway!

This is what I love about scrapbooking or memory keeping.  I don't do it enough, but want to do it more.  It keeps the people we love alive in our hearts, even when they have passed on.  It isn't the same as having them next to us, but it sure does help!

Love how that white embossing pop's on the Crumb Cake paper!  And using Flirty Flamingo and Bermuda Bay together with Crumb Cake--swoon!  I will for sure be using this color combo again!

The stamp set for the flowers that I used here is a hostess stamp set called "Fabulous Flora."  So fun!

Hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

Sweet Sugarplum Scrapbooking...

Sharing a quick and easy 12x12 scrapbook layout today...with the NEW In Color, Sweet Sugarplum, as the star!

I discovered something fun with this layout.  I wanted some splatter, but a more controlled splatter.  So....I just used the Gold Wink of Stella and colored over the small splatter stamp from "Gorgeous Grunge".  Then stamped it on my project!  So fun...right?!

The "Egg-cellent" image is a Project Life card--which made this page go together super quick!

And seriously...I have pretty cute kids, wouldn't you agree?!  :-)

Project Life Meets Traditional Scrapbooking...

I have been working on some scrapbook layouts for a someone.  They needed some travel pages for their book.  Well...when the Occasions catalog came out and I saw the "Let's Get Away" Project Life by Stampin' Up! collection...I was excited!  I thought these would of been perfect!  I could of just made some layouts "Project Life" style...but I decided to turn these quick and adorable cards into traditional scrapbook layouts.  Have you tried Project Life yet?!  SO MUCH FUN!  So quick and easy!  (Email me if you have any questions...designwithink@gmail.com)  Anyway...here is one of the layouts I made...

I just combined some of the fun cards with some coordinating cardstock pieces cut to similar sizes as the cards.  SO quick and so easy!

Here is a pic of each page...

Fun, right?!  I also used the Accessory pack just to add a few yummy touches.

BUT...Project Life isn't just for scrapbooking!  Here is a quick tag I made using a Project Life card from the Everyday Adventure collection...

SO easy, fun, and cute!

If you have never used Project Life...you really should give it a shot!  They are a GREAT value! A card collection gives you 100 cards (a few different sizes) for just $15.95.  You can make tags, do memory keeping, make cards, gifts, banners, etc, etc.  They are so much fun!  I have a few more traditional scrapbook pages to share with you this week using more Project Life cards.  So stay tuned!

Thanks for visiting!  I hope you enjoy these projects and it inspires you to be creative today in some way!  Let me know if you have any questions: designwithink@gmail.com.
