Perfect What I Love Notebook!

Just a quick post today.  I wanted to play with the "What I Love" Sale-A-Bration set.  You can earn it FREE with a $50 order!  So fun!  I bought some of these notebooks off the Clearance Rack.  Had one sitting out when I wanted to play with that stamp set and this was created...

Kinda fun!  Love the colors...Kraft notebook with white, Mint Macaron, and Calypso Coral.  Pretty simple to do.  Just stamped some images from the set onto the corner and embossed with White Embossing Powder.  Emboss, add a banner (stamped with the Perfect Pairings Sale-A-Bration set.  Another one you can earn FREE!), and some twine and sequins and VOILA!  A fun notebook to throw in your bag!

I already shared my club card that we made this month in THIS POST.  Well today I want to share a card that my club card was inspired by.  This card is one of the make & takes from the Suite Stampin' Success Meeting that was at the end of January.  And I fell in love with that card.  So I wanted to share this one too cause it's a great layout that you can use again and again...

So...I found a similar card to this online and just made a few changes to come up with this card.  So this card is a CASEd card.  (Copy and Share Everything)  Then I took this card and CASEd it for my club card!  It's fun to see where one card can take you.

Stamps: Suite Sayings, Dots for Days, Botanical Blooms
Tools: Banner Punch, Botanical Builders Framelits (and Big Shot/Plates), 2 1/2" Circle Punch

Here is another view of the card...

May be hard to tell...but the gold thread wrapped behind the real life it really makes it pop.  All about the small details...even if they don't photograph well.

Then here is a reminder of my club card...

I so hope you enjoyed this card today!  Thanks for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!

It's A Birthday Swap...

Just have a quick card to share today!  This is a card I mass produced...about 40 of these were made!  We had a big swap at the meeting we had at the end of January.  (A swap is where you make a bunch of one card and trade with all the others that made a card.) And of course I wasn't going to miss out!  I wanted to participate too!  So here is the card I made...

I wanted to stay in the theme for our event.  We used the "It's My Party" suite for decor and such.  So kept with that and made this card with some stamps and washi tape!  This is a really quick and easy card to make.  And since we all love to send birthday's a great card to have on hand!  (Have you heard the buzz over the movement that Shannon West started?  #imbringingbirthdaysback is all over the place!  I've posted on my Facebook page--Design With Ink-- about it, but I would love to send a birthday card to anyone and everyone that wants one!  Just let me know your birthday and I will send one to you!  I'm so excited!)

Colors: Melon Mambo, Mint Macaron, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black
Stamps: Party Wishes, Party With Cake
Tools: Hexagon Punch (to make flag ends on greeting), Party Punch Pack (for candle), Scissors
AccessoriesIt's My Party Washi Tape, Linen Thread, Basic Rhinestones, Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush are a few more pictures...

I used the Gold Wink of Stella Glitter Brush for the tip of that candle.  It really sparkles in real life!

January 2016 Paper Pumpkin...Cute Conversations...

Have I mentioned lately how much I LOVE Paper Pumpkin?!  It's SO MUCH FUN getting a fun project kit in the mail each month.  Even with all the craft supplies I have...I LOVE the pre-planned kit I get!  And they always end up saving me so much time!  This past month, January's, was a cute Valentine one. daughter ended up needing her Valentine's for her class today (she's in year-round school and they go on break Monday), and I didn't find out until last minute.  SOOOOO...Paper Pumpkin to the rescue!  Here is what the kit made...

You can make these cute treat pouches and a cute banner, with all these supplies...

I happened to need 30 treats and there just happened to be 30 hearts in the kit!  So...this is what we made...

We didn't have too long to make them, so kept them super simple and quick.  Just a box of conversation hearts (SOUR!  Didn't know they made these but my daughter LOVES sour things!) in a cello bag, then with these cute hearts clipped on top. We made 30 of these in probably 30 mins or so.  Maybe 45.  Not too shabby!

And I LOVE what my daughter said as we were making them.  She was SO thankful we were doing them together and kept hugging me, thanking me, and then saying, "I was just thinking a bow tied around the box, but then you have all these hearts and cute banners ready and we get to make them so cute!"  Scoring points with my almost 10-year old daughter--WINNER!  Worth every penny!  :-)

Thanks for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions!  You can get a 3-month pre-paid subscription ON SALE during Sale-A-Bration!  It's normally $20 a month, but you can get a 3-month subscription for $55!  Let me know if you want to give it a try!

Technique Tuesday With Custom Striped Accents!

One of my assignments on Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team is to do share some fun techniques.  My first one was shared at the end ...
