On Stage Events = Gift Time!!

When I attended Stampin' Up!'s On Stage event a few weeks ago, I shared a hotel with a couple friends.  Of course I had to give them a little gift because I love doing this little tradition!  I just realized I forgot to share it.  Oops!  So thought I better remedy that...

Here is the whole package with their fun little tag.  I had a little notebook and chocolate bar inside.

For the notebook, I barely did anything but I wanted to show the different just a few seconds can make.  I used the "Flourishing Phrases" stamp set, stamped it in Whisper White Craft ink, and then embossed with Whisper White embossing powder.  And That. Is. All. I. Did!  Check it out.  The notebook on the right is how I bought them.  And look at the fun little touch just one stamp can make!

And here is just the stamped notebook...

Then here is how I decorated the chocolate bar...

Used the Flourish Thinlit dies to cut out the black flourish, and just added a few other simple elements.

Hope you enjoy!  Thank you so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

A Merry Wreath Time...

I don't know about your house, but we are in full "getting ready for Christmas" mode at our house!  Time to trim the tree and get all that decor up!  Well...I hung my big wreath on the door and it just looked "empty" to me.  We had our full inside of our house painted this past summer, and then also painted our outdoor shutters and door.  Guessing that is the reason it just looked "emptier" to me.  So thought a fun banner on the wreath would be fun!  So that's what I did!  Love that I can do so many thing with my Stampin' Up! supplies...and it saves me from having to go to the store....SUPER bonus!  :-)

Should of taken a before picture...but trust me...it looks better.  :-)  Here are a few more pics...hard to see the details in the picture above...

It's Paper Pumpkin Time...Double Time!

It's no secret, I LOVE MY PAPER PUMPKIN KIT!  It's so much fun to get a crafting kit in the mail every month...all the prep work, thought work, etc taken care for you!  All you have to do is sit down and have some stress-free crafting time!  Also...I send out a card every month to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers...using the stamp set that comes with the kit for that month.  Thought I better share the last 2 cards I have sent...

This was the card from October...

I LOVE that crackle stamp!  I stamped it all over the cardstock piece.  Best part about it...I just messy stamped it.  Didn't try to line anything up, just stamped until cardstock was covered.  And it looked great every time!  It's a BEAUTIFUL stamp!

So fun, right?!  Also...I really like to see fun pretty stamp things in a pile when I'm all done, so here you go...

It's a double post today...here is the card from November...

Love the cards sent in this months kit!  And so easy to keep on creating with your kit is all finished!  Just did some simple stamping here.  I stamped it all on Shimmery White cardstock so there is a fun shimmer in real life. Hard to get a photo of it, but I tried...

So what do you think?!  Hope you enjoy!  Let me know if you have any questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

Need A Gift Box With That Card?! ...

The other day I shared this card...

This card was actually made after a fun little gift box I made, because sometimes you need a little gift AND a card, right?! So here is the SMALL gift box that coordinates with this card...

These are the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes that are in the Annual Catalog.  I LOVE them!  They are so much fun to use.

ColorsVery Vanilla, Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, Copper
Cardstock/PapersMint Macaron, Very Vanilla, Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper
StampsAcorny Thank You
ToolsBig Shot, Stitched Shapes Thinlits, Triple Banner Punch, Classic Label Punch, Heat Tool
Accessories: Copper Embossing Powder, Clear Tiny Treat Boxes

Now look at the top of the box...

Hard to get a great picture of it, but that is embossed with the Copper Embossing Powder.  Let me just tell you...it is BEAUTIFUL!!!  And goes so amazing with the Copper Foil details in the Designer Paper, from the Petals & Paisleys Designer Paper pack.

This box is so easy to make.  Just make the box, add a strip of Designer Paper, and then make a little focal point for the top of the box.  Would be perfect as a little favor for your Thanksgiving table!

Look at some of the boxes I made all stacked up...

Love it!  Hope you enjoy!  Let me know if you have any questions!  Thanks so much for visiting! designwithink@gmail.com

Simple Fall Acorn...Nuts About You!

Needed some quick cards the other day, and came up with this one.  A fun and fast fall card...

ColorsVery Vanilla, Whisper White, Mint Macaron, Night of Navy, Copper
Cardstock/PapersWhisper White, Mint Macaron, Very Vanilla, Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Acorny Thank You, Paisley & Posies
ToolsBig Shot, Stitched Shapes Thinlits, Acorn Builder Punch, Triple Banner Punch
Accessories: Calypso Coral Thick Baker's Twine (pull it a part and just use a few strands per bow)

Do you follow me on Facebook or Instagram?  Or both?  If so...you may have seen how I posted two versions of this card.  (If you don't....you should!  Just click on the links above or just search for Design With Ink and either click Like or follow to follow me!)  I took a vote on whether or not I should add the twine to the cards.  It was for sure a yes! to have the twine, but what do you think?!

I'm always amazed how such a small thing can make a big deal in the final outcome of paper crafting.  Kinda fun to see side by side, right?

And yes...I used the Stitched Shapes Framelits again!  LOVE THESE!!!

Gotta love all the copper on this card too!  I used two different patterned papers from the "Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper".  Then the embossed acorn!  Swoon!

Hope you enjoy!  Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have questions!  designwithink@gmail.com

November Club Project...Pretty Pine Gift Bag...

I love club time!  The hardest part is decided what fabulous products to use!  Hee.  This month for our project...I tried to think of something that would be helpful for the holidays.  You always need gift packaging for the holidays, right?!  So that's what we did.  Here is the gift bag we made...

ColorsKraft, Cherry Cobbler, Garden Green
Cardstock/PapersKraft, Garden Green, This Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper, Gold Glimmer Sheets
StampsChristmas Pines
ToolsBig Shot, Pine Bough Embossing Folder, Pretty Pines Thinlits, Stitched Shapes Thinlits
Accessories: Basic Pearls, Garden Green Baker's Twine (from Baker's Twine Trio Pack), Cherry Cobbler Taffeta Ribbon (from 3/8" Ribbon Silky Taffeta Combo Pack), Glassine Gift Bags, Gold Binder Clip

Kinda fun, right?!  I LOVE the "This Christmas" designer series paper.  We used it on this month's card HERE.  This paper is actually in the annual catalog...and is so lovely and scrumptious!  It's a little bit thinner than normal Designer Paper and you also get 24 sheets (instead of the normal 12) so there is plenty of paper to make lots of Christmas projects!

And have you seen the cute Glassine bags that are in the annual catalog?  Well look how cut they are embossed...

We used the "Pine Bough" embossing folder on the corner just for a little extra wow!

And have you seen the Stitched Shapes Framelits that are available this month?!  (As well as coordinating stamp sets that are 25% off!!!) They will be officially released in the new Annual Catalog that comes out in June, but we get a chance to buy them early this month!!!  I mean really...look at that stitched edge...

And click on the picture to check out the promotion...

And click HERE to see an image of all the Stitched Shaped Framelits you receive!

To compare...this is what it looks like without the stitched edge (using the Layering Circles Framelits)...

Doesn't that little stitched edge make such a difference?!  I LOVE IT!  Order them now (and anything else you may need! 😀) on my website: www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net before they are gone!

Hope you enjoy this project!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

Gusseted Cello Christmas Packaging...

Have a quick project to share with you today...and I hope you love it!  It's another Christmas gift packaging option!  And I LOVE this one.  So simple and quick, yet festive and fun!  What do you think?! ...

Pictured above with a cute hat and scarf and then this is what it looks like empty...

Have you noticed these cello bags in the Holiday catalog?!  They are FANTASTIC!  They are so much bigger than you think...they are a bread loaf size!  They are 6" x 17" and just so much fun.  For this one I just scored my 12" long Designer Series Paper the width of the bottom of the bag (the bag will fold out flat when you fold out the gusseted part, and voila!  Have an instant cute gift bag!

Here are a few more pics of the details...

I hope you enjoy!  Thanks so much for visiting!  Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com
