Hop Along With The 2025 Artisan Design Team Sharing What We ♡ LOVE! ♡

We are so excited about the 2025 Artisan journey we get to take with you this year & all that we have to share!  So let's keep the sharing going with an InstaHop!  Inspired by Feb 14th ... come hop along with us as we share projects inspired by things we love! ♡

I love a lot in my life ... my family, my friends, traveling, connection, taking care of people, all kinds of adventures, etc, etc.  But other than the relationships in my life, the ocean is my favorite.  ๐Ÿ˜ƒ ๐Ÿ’•  In a way I will never be able to fully describe ... it brings me peace, joy, awareness, clarity, etc, etc, etc.   I would scuba dive every day if I could. My love of the ocean has basically become a part of my personality.  Haha.  Anyone else relate?!   So here is my love card to the ocean ... with a ocean mash-up of products!

All supplies are from ©️ Stampin' Up!

Colors:  Coastal Cabana, Peach Pie, Lemon Lime Twist, Pretty in Pink, Gray Granite, Basic White
Inks: Coastal Cabana, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Shaded Spruce, Melon Mambo, Gray Granite, Pebble Path, Bubble Bath, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Peach Pie, Lost Lagoon, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Friendly Fins
Tools:  Friendly Fins Dies, Ocean Friends Dies, Soft Waves Embossing Folder, Heat Tool
Accessories: Basics Wow! Embossing Powder, Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins

I mean ... how cute?!  Right?!  Hee.  I just love this hop and the fun theme!

Because I have to admit ... I. Love. Sharks!  ๐Ÿ˜  I was surprised by this fact.   The first time I went scuba diving I told someone I NEVER wanted to see one.   Well ... I saw one that very first dive and it was love at first sight.  They are such graceful, smart, amazing creatures.  So I was very excited the Friendly Fins Bundle exists so I can have a cute shark on my love to the ocean card.  Hee.

Are you loving that coral and sea grass like I am?!  Let me show you how I did that!  It is so easy!  Basically ... just watercolor some splotches of color onto Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  It does NOT have to look pretty!  At all!  You don't want too large of an area with just one color ... if you are going for variety ... so just do small spots of each other.  Then let it dry & cut it out!  I love how each piece is different!

This is the same thing ... I just kept in the green palette for this one!

These were so much fun to make and I love the detail they add to the final card!  Those die-cuts are from the Ocean Friends Dies.  LOVE LOVE them!

Here are a few more pics:

And one final little detail.  After I did a watercolor wash on the background, I painted a thin coat of the White Pearlized Enamel Effects over it.  Hard to photograph, but it is SOOO pretty in real life.

I hope you enjoy this card!  I also hope you love the ocean yourself because she is a majestic creation!

Now ... it is time to keep HOPPITY HOPPING along to learn more about the rest of the team!  Instagram is the best place to hop! Next up in our Show Your Love Hop is the FABULOUS Lara Moss @scrappykea!  You are going to LOVE what she made for you!

Magical Terrific Toadstools!

Are you LOVING the Terrific Toadstools Bundle in the Jan-April Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!?!  I know I am!  I sent out a batch of these cards to some pretty magical people probably about a month ago.  Guess it's time to finally share this cutie here!

All supplies are from ©️ Stampin' Up!

Colors:  Pool Party, Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, Peach Pie, Gray Granite, Basic White
Inks: Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, Peach Pie, Gray Granite, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Pool Party, Basic White, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Terrific Toadstools
Tools:  Perennial Postage Dies, Peaceful Seasons Dies (LAST CHANCE ITEM!), Plaster Painting Embossing Folder, Water Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Baker's Twine Three Color Pack, Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins (Sale-A-Bration FREE Item!)

How fun is she?!  Hee.  I love the embossed layers behind the focal point.  I adhered them at slight angles for just a bit more interest.  Then that postage stamp layered behind the focal point is just chef's kiss!  I love those dies!

Running a fingernail down the edges of the cardstock create this subtle distressed look.  I love adding this because it just makes that focal point pop!  Yet so quick & easy & a free tool!  Hee.

What do you think of these toadstools?!  Are you a fan?!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  And if you don't have a this Stampin' Up! catalog (or any current ones) - please let me know and I would be happy to help!

A Simple Peaceful Evergreens for TGIF Challenge #503!

We have a fun sketch challenge for you for the TGIF Challenge #503!  I LOVE a good sketch challenge!  It really makes this whole card making process so easy!  And for my card today - I made it super easy!  I needed a quick Christmas card, so I made one with this sketch!  I changed it a tiny bit ... because that's the beauty of a sketch!  It is just a jumping off point!  But mostly ... kept pretty much true to it.   This is just such a fabulous basic sketch that could take you a million different places!

First up is my card, and then I will show you the sketch!  ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

All supplies are from ©️ Stampin' Up!
Colors:  Pretty In Pink, Basic White, Gold
Inks: Night of Navy, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Pretty In Pink, Thick Basic White, Basic White
Stamps: Peaceful Evergreens, Peaceful Season
Tools:  Heat Tool, Water Painter (for splatter)
Accessories: Metallics Wow! Embossing Powder, Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim Combo Pack, Metallics Enamel Effects Basics (splatter), Purple Adhesive-Backed Sequins (SAB 2025 Offering!)

So want to see the sketch now?!  I would guess so!  Hee.

You can see I really did stay pretty true to the sketch.  I did switch the layout orientation.  Then instead of adding 5 elements across, I just stamped a stamp from the Peaceful Evergreens Stamp Set - but it does even have 5 trees!

And I embossed them in gold ... which makes them stunningly beautiful ...

That's what I love about simple cards.  It's a great way to add just a few details, but it really highlights the simple beauty of them.  Have a fun little tip below too - in case you were wondering where that gold behind the "Merry" comes from.

Here is what I did!

1. Took the gold trim from the Gold & Silver 1/8" Trim Combo Pack and cut a length off the roll.  Then I just cut down one of the sides of the ribbon - just a tiny bit.  I wanted to just "release" what is holding the ribbon together.  Then I just carefully start pulling the individual strands of gold - and you can see how there is a white bit that they are all embedded in.
2.  Finish with the length of the ribbon and end up with some fun gold fibers to play with!
3.  Gather and wrap fibers in a bit of a circle and adhere to the back of the saying.
4. Doesn't have to look pretty on the back! Hee.

Love the little detail it adds!  Here is one last view of the whole card:

AND ... I even have a SNEAK PEEK on this card! Those sequins are from a FABULOUS pack of sequins that will be available in January for ☆☆☆ FREE ☆☆☆ with a qualifying Sale-A-Bration purchase!! ๐Ÿ’• Yup ... you have my permission to get excited!  Hee.  Let me know if you need new catalogs!  The Sale-A-Bration Brochure or the Jan-April 2025 Catalog are both being released in January!

NOW ... come play along with us for this challenge!  Head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog to see what the rest of the TGIF Design Team made & to play along with us! Can't wait to see what you make!

Let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs!  If you live in the United States ... please let me know how I can help you as a Stampin' Up! demo!
