I LOVE the emboss! It was one of the first stamping techniques I learned and I still get giddy when I see that powder melt! Well...this is probably my favorite way to use the Blendability markers. See an example of this technique below and then I will explain a little...
So fun, right?! So look at that "Make a Wish" greeting. It once looked like this...
I just stamped the greeting, embossed with White Embossing powder, and VOILA! Looks like this. Still cute, and I LOVE the chalkboard look. This could definitely work for a project. However...all I did was punch this out, take my Blendability markers and colored it in different colors! So magical and fantastic! And once the markers dry (it's quick), the ink won't rub off the embossing powder!!!
Need another look?!
It's best to use dark paper so you don't have to worry if you color "out of the lines". You can't even tell. But I love how quick and easy it is to get a multi-colored embossed image! TOO MUCH fun and I'm even more giddy about my embossing now. :)

Mixing a Little Ribbon With Blendabilities...
Are you sick of me blabbing about Blendabilities again?! Of course not! :-) (At least that's what I'm assuming you are saying.) Today I'm showing you a fun thing I did with these magic markers and ribbon!
Here is the project for the day...
Here is the project for the day...
Look at that fun ribbon! This is just the cotton ribbon, and I just drew on strips with the Blendability marker! So fun, right? I didn't measure or try to make it straight. I just cut a strip of ribbon, and ran my marker right down.
Then made it into this cute bow...
Next I just added it to my fun tag. Who wouldn't want this bag of yummy chocolate?! :)
Hope you enjoy! It's a quick and easy project! I hope you try it! Thanks for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

Blendabilities AND Crystal Effects...I'm in LOVE!
Still have some fun ways to show you how to use your Blendabilities!!! I'm sure you will fall in love like I have! :) This card I'm showing you uses Crystal Effects as well. Here is the card...
What are those dots and how did I do that?! Well...let me "show" you! First of all, you just take your Crystal Effects and plop (that's the official term :-) dots down...however big or small you want them...onto your Silicone sheet. (This part is important...they will just pop off that silicone when they are dry.) Seriously...that magic Crystal Effects stuff will make the perfect dot so easily. See...
All I did was squeeze some out onto my sheet. When they are wet, they look cloudy like this. They turn clear when they are dry. And then all your do is grab your Blendability marker and color over the dot. When the color dries (it's pretty fast)...you have your colored dots! It is SO. MUCH. FUN!!!
Here are a few colored and still clear so you can see them dry. Then just pop them off and adhere them to your project! (I usually just use a TINY dab of more Crystal Effects under it and it works great!)
More views of the project...
And by the way...that "HI" is a Project Life card! LOVE those cards and make other projects (besides scrapbooking) with them quite frequently! So much fun!!!

More Fun With Blendabilities...Window Sheet Style!
I am in the process of showing you a few different techniques using the Blendabilities. I shared the Ombre technique in my last post, HERE. Today I am sharing a fun way to use them with Window Sheets. Here is a project I made...
SO FUN, right?! It looks quite beautiful in person!
And a side view of the finished project...
(***Note: the fun twine that I tied my cello bag with is still available...it was carried over from the Holiday Mini! yay! Love this stuff!)
Hope you enjoy this project and this fun Blendability technique! Give it a try! Let me know if you have any other questions! designwithink@gmail.com.
Fun, right?! May be hard to see in the photograph...but it's a Fry Box made from the window sheet. The flower on the front is the Blendabilities part. HERE IS THE TRICK...the Blendabilities color great on the Window Sheets and don't smear when they are dry (like the Stampin' Write markers would). HOWEVER...you have to use Staz-On ink for any stamping you are doing, or the ink will smear. And Blendabilities will smear the Staz-On ink. See the problem?! Well....a window sheet is clear, right?! SOOOOOO...I stamped on one side, flipped it over and colored on the other! So the inks are mixing, yet you can still see everything and get that beautiful watercolor like look! So fun! I choose to use just one color in my Blendability pack. The "blending" of all the different colors wasn't giving me the look I wanted. But it could be done, depending on how you wanted it all to look. It was certainly fun to do!
Here are a few pics of the box empty...

Sale-A-Bration...With Blendabilities!
Did you know it is Sale-A-Bration time?! Where you can earn FREE Stampin' Up! products?! Well...it is! And it is awesome! I posted a little about it HERE. The reason I am bringing this up is because this year, you can earn select Blendability marker packs as part of your Sale-A-Bration reward! This means FREE!!! Whooooo! And I just have to say....I LOVE Blendabilities! They are SO MUCH FUN! They are so much more than just a beautiful way to color! I have a few different ideas to use these markers for, that I will be sharing throughout the next few days. First up is a fun Ombre technique...
So you can see...it's white paper with the clear design on it that shows up when you color the paper (but the glossy design resists the ink so you still see the design!) Anyway....I started with the darkest marker, then added the middle color (blending a little at the bottom of the darkest color), then finished with the lightest color. Too much fun! Here is my project I made with this piece...
And a side view...
Hope you enjoy! Isn't this fun?! It's a quick and easy technique to try...so give it a go! Let me know how you like it!
Thanks for visiting!
I made this tag and colored all three colors of the Melon Mambo Blendability pack. (The paper I used here is another option for Sale-A-Bration. You can earn a pack of this paper...with different designs....FREE! It comes white, with these embossed designs on it. Then you can color it in lots of different ways (using sponge, spritzer, etc.) to give it the look and color you want. Here is what the designs look like that are on the paper...)

January Club Project...Decorative Window Boxes
Time to share the project we made for this month of club! I love all the pre-made boxes Stampin' Up! sells. I would probably prefer to always make my own...if I had no time constraints. :) But, alas...I have time constraints. :) So it is SO nice to just be able to whip out a pre-made one, decorate it, and bam! An easy and quick way to show someone you care. This month we used the Decorative Window Boxes...but changed them a bit! We turned that box into a bag. Here it is...
So fun, right?! We used the new stamp set, "Crazy for you" for the flower and leaf image. And then the "to a great friend" is a Sale-A-Bration stamp set called "Simply Wonderful." (Earn this stamp set FREE with a $50 merchandise order.)
Here are a few more pictures...
Love stamping on window sheets! This window is already a part of the box...so we just stamped the greeting in White Staz-On on the window. Easy peasy! (just make sure you stamp straight down and up and don't "slide" the stamp at all.)
Thanks so much for visiting! Please let me know if you have any questions! designwithink@gmail.com

I have to say...I LOVE this ribbon! It's such beautiful and amazing quality. There are lots of fun colors of this ribbon in the catalog. However...this particular color is Summer Starfruit, which is retired. Well...this ribbon is available on the Clearance Rack! For $1.79US!!!!!!! For TEN yards of high quality ribbon!!! Are you kidding me?! Yeah....I may have bought more than my share. Just thought I would share the deal with you. :) Feel free to snag some yourself... www.ashleyvancamp.stampinup.net. January Club Card...
The new Occasions catalog is out! WHOOOOOO!!! There are SO MANY fun things! This is the card we made at club this month, using new stuff...
We did a reverse masking technique...that circle is sponged with a mask we made with a circle punch. Just punch out your shape, lay it on your card front, and sponge/stamp it. Was a lot of fun to do!
Here are a few more detailed shots...
LOVE BANNERS! Even itty bitty ones. :)
Hope you enjoy this card! We had a lot of fun making it! Thanks for visiting! Let me know if you have any questions: designwithink@gmail.com

Valentine Heart Banner...
Whew! What a start to the year/getting back into routines time it has been! I meant to post days ago! BUT...I AM BACK! Here's to a new year! I have plans to share lots of fun things this year...so hope you will visit me!
This leads me to a fun project today! I always have a hard time decorating things in January. I like to decorate for Valentine's Day, but is right after Christmas too soon?! So I usually put regular home decor back up for a few weeks and then do Valentine's. This year I decided to save myself a step and just go right to Valentine's Day decor. It's never too early to start celebrating love, right?! So today I am sharing a banner I made to add to my decor this year. I use my stamping in home decor all the time! I love it! So here is my mantel at the moment (I will be adjusting)...
So fun, right?! I love the pink and red color combo. Makes my heart smile. Here are some close-up's of the banner...
I used the Simply Created Banner Kit. LOVE this thing! The banner pieces are made of canvas. Then there are stencils when you buy the whole kit (there is also a refill kit so you can get just the banners when you run out!) that you can add dots, stripes, or chevrons so easily! I made all my pennants the same for this banner. Just wanted a clean look. I added some polka dots in Smoky Slate ink with a sponge. (The kit comes with a spritzer bottle so you can add your ink that way as well.)
If you have followed me on my blog at all, then I am sure you have seen this doily trick before. I LOVE the color and emboss my doilies! I just added pink ink and embossing with clear embossing powder.
I used the hearts framelits to cut out some hearts, added them over some punched circles (from the Typeset Speciality Designer Series Paper), then had some sequins/etc and voila! A Happy Valentine's Day Banner!!!
I hope you enjoy! Thanks so much for visiting!!!
