Swapping with the Stampin' Up! Artisans at On Stage 2025!

When I was in Raleigh last month for Stampin' Up!'s On Stage convention, we got together as Artisans (past & present!) and did a card swap.  This is where each participant makes one card for each person participating.  Then you "swap" them, and you end up with a bunch of different cards!  How much fun, right?!  Swapping is always a part of Stampin' Up! events, and it is super fun to do one with my fellow Artisans.  Because as the saying goes ... "Once an Artisan, ALWAYS an Artisan!"

So today I am sharing the swap I made for this!

All supplies are from ©️ Stampin' Up!

Colors:  Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic Black, Basic White
Inks: Melon Mambo, Calypso Coral, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lime Twist, Peach Pie, Basic White, Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Ocean Friends
Tools:  Everyday Arches Dies, Ocean Friends Dies, Soft Waves Embossing Folder, Heat Tool
Accessories: Linen Thread, Basics WOW! Embossing Powder, Iridescent Faceted Gems

I can't get enough of this Ocean Friends Bundle!  I felt like my Artisan friends needed to meet my Ocean Friends!  Hee.  I also love the Everyday Arches Dies ... and used those to add a fun pop of the Friends of the Ocean Designer Series Paper! 😍

Without further ado ... a few more pics so you can see all the details!  There are lots of ocean friends throughout the Designer Series Paper, so I fussy cut some of those out and added one to each card.  The dies are fabulous and that coral is AMAZING!  Will never get over using that.  And yeah ... just really love this whole suite of products!  Hope you have it ... because if you don't ... get it NOW!  It is on the Last Chance list! So that means that once it is gone, it is gone!

I hope you enjoy this card!  Here is a pic of those of us that gathered in Raleigh and swapped together!

I love these humans!   Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions and if I can help you with any of your papercrafting needs!  I would love to!  I would love to help you get any Stampin' Up! supplies you need ... ahem, the Ocean Friends Bundle?!  Hee ... so don't hesitate to reach out!

Hot Air Balloon Swap Fun!

Back in March, I went to Stampin' Up!'s On Stage (a convention) event in Houston, TX.  I forgot to share the swap card I made to swap with my fellow Artisans, both past & present! 💖 It was so much fun to meet, hug, see again, giggle, squeal, etc, etc with my Artisans!  They are a fabulous group of humans!

I do have a few photos of us below, buuuuuuuuuuuttttt... I just realized I haven't shared my swap card yet!  So let's remedy that! 😁

Colors:  Lemon Lolly, Costal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Gray Granite, Basic Black, Basic White
Inks: Melon Mambo, Coastal Cabana, Lemon Lolly, Gray Granite, Memento Jet Black
Cardstock/Papers: Lemon Lolly, Gray Granite, Basic White, Rock & Roll Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Hot Air Balloon, Rays of Light
Tools:  Hot Air Balloon Dies, Basics Embossing Folders, Countryside Corners Dies, Perennial Postage Dies
Accessories: Iridescent Rhinestone Gems, 2022-2024 In Color Baker's Twine Pack

I love these products ... the Hot Air Balloon Stamp Set & Dies ... and I love how this card turned out.  Just look at HOW CUTE these balloons are! 😍  I am so glad these are still around with the ☆ BRAND NEW ☆ Stampin' Up! catalog release! 👏

Sadly, however, this background stamp didn't have the same fate.  The Rays of Light Stamp Set is no longer available, so I hope you have it!  Hee.  Cause it is one of my faves!  And I love how it is such a fun backdrop to these balloons!

The fun thing about these hot air balloons also ... you could easily use any sentiment and make it any kind of card!  I did a birthday card here, as you can see, but anything would work!

This card was a lot of fun to make, and I hope it was fun to receive!  😊  Now here are a few fun pics of the group:

A mix of past & present Artisans!

The current Artisan team in attendance in Houston!

SUCH a fun day & time with these humans!  I also received some GORGEOUS swaps from them that I need to share still!

Thank you so much for visiting! Please let me know if you have any questions! Would love to help with all your papercrafting needs!  Let me know if you need a NEW Stampin' Up! catalog as well!

Stampin' Up...oh how I love you!  The fact that I had the opportunity to earn this trip of a lifetime still makes my heart squeal.   They do an organized swap on this trip...and I was excited to participate.  One of the greatest things about Stampin' Up! have been the completely beautiful friendships I have made...so I thought the Beautiful Friendship stamp set was the perfect one to use for my swap.

Colors: Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Whisper White
Inks: Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, VersaMark

On Stage Swapping...With Butterflies Galore!

Yes, I still have lots to share from the On Stage event that I went to earlier this month.  (On Stage is Stampin' Up's convention.  This year was the 30th anniversary celebration.)  Today I want to share one of the swap projects I did.  This swap was with my TGIF Design Team.  I LOVE these girls!   We did a 3D item swap this time.  I need to share all the swaps I received...because they are so beautiful!  Today I am just sharing the swap I made.  If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram...you saw this sneak peek photo I posted before I went to On Stage:

(And if you don't follow me...you should!  :-)  Instagram is @designwithink and Facebook is just Design With Ink.)  Isn't that pile of beautiful Melon Mambo butterflies just so much fun?!  I love them!

Well...it's about time I show the final project!   Here it is:

Colors: Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Lemon Lime Twist
Cardstock/Papers:  Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo, Basic Black, Watercolor Paper, Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper

Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Springtime Impressions Thinlits, Bunch of Banners Framelits, Heat Tool
Accessories: Linen Thread, Whisper White Embossing Powder, Brusho Crystal Color, Metallic Pearls, Gold Library Clips, Striped Treat Bags

I truly love this bag!  The stitched circle part is kinda my fave:

Sea of Textures Swap Time!

On Stage is now over, but I hope you had fun following along with me on social media!  (If you aren't following me on Facebook or Instagram...head on over there and follow me!  Design With Ink)  It was such a blast!!!  I will have more to share when I return home!  Today, however, I wanted to share the swap card I made for a group swap that I was in.  I love organized swaps because it's usually all I have time for!  (Swapping is where you make a designated number of one card, and swap with others that did the same!  A great way to get a bunch of ideas!)

I love the Sea of Textures stamp set (with coordinating framelits!) and that's the stamp set I ended up reaching for with my swap!

Colors: Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, Soft Sea Foam, Pool Party, Shimmery White
Stamps: Sea of Textures
Tools: Big Shot, Under the Sea Framelits, Seaside Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Basic Adhesive-Backed Sequins

Do you like that octopus as much as I?!  And funny thing is...I think they are SUPER ugly in real life.  Gag.  Me.  But on paper....so much fun and oh so cute!  I love a good ocean theme.  😁

Look how fun to see the whole pile of them.  Am I the only one out there that LOVES seeing all this hard work in a photo?!

So much fun!!!  And let's not forget to show you some details...

Little peekaboo of the Seaside embossed Soft Sea Foam cardstock.  💕

This octopus is so much fun to stamp.  I inked him up in Flirty Flamingo first, and then sponged a little bit of Calypso Coral ink over that.  It is pretty subtle, but I like the variation of colors on him.

Can't get enough of these sequins!  They rock my world!  😀

I so hope you enjoy!  Please let me know if you have any questions!!!  Thanks so much for visiting!

If you aren't following me on Facebook or Instagram yet, YOU NEED TO!  I am sharing highlights from Stampin' Up!'s 30th year On Stage (convention) celebration!!!  Just search for Design With Ink and follow along!!!  We are having a blast!!!

Today I wanted to share one of the gifts I made for this event!  I made a whole lot of these because I made them for a fun gift swap I was in and also made some other so pass out to friends.  I am SOOOOO thankful for all the friendships I have made through Stampin' Up and so I love to have little goodies to pass out. Want to see?!?!  First photo is from the gift swap I was in. I'm kind of in love with these.  😍

Colors: Whisper White, Night of Navy, Melon Mambo, Powder Pink, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam
Cardstock/Papers:  Whisper White, Night of Navy, Soft Sea Foam, Shaded Spruce, Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Abstract Impressions
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes, Sprig Punch, Petal Burst Embossing Folder
Accessories: Linen Thread, Rhinestone Basic Jewels

How cute is this?!  I basically copied myself for this.  I posted THESE awhile ago, and thought it would be perfect for this purpose!  But this time I used the Garden Impressions Designer Series Paper pack.  Totally swooning over this!

I just love all the patterns and colors!  Look at some of them before I filled them...

Photo overload because I can't get enough.  Haha.  Want to see more?!  😀

This sprig punch is pretty much my favorite.  Love the little accent it adds behind things.  Such a fun and easy element.  😍😍😍  If you don't have this yet...my professional opinion is that you need it.  😁

Then look how cute it is with either candy or a fun gift in it...

I just love this so much, in case you couldn't tell.  😉  Please let me know if you have any questions!

Feather Together Love...

Have you noticed the "Feather Together" stamp set in the Annual catalog?!  If you haven't, let me show you something I made with it!  I LOVE this stamp set.  It's so much fun!  Feathers galore...what could be better?!  😀

Colors: Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Gold
Cardstock/Papers:  Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay
Stamps: Feather Together, Colorful Seasons (greeting)
Tools: Big Shot, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Aqua Painter
Accessories: Calypso Coral 1/4" Ombre Ribbon, Gold Mini Sequin Trim, Delicate White Doily

Swoon!!!  Love this card, if I'm allowed to say that.  😉  Here are a few pics of the details...

I love a good splatter!  For this one, I just used my Smoky Slate ink refill, dropped a little on a plastic surface, picked up some ink with my Aqua Painter, and then flicked it over my cardstock.  Do this over scratch paper cause it can make a bit of a mess!  😀  Then just stamp your feathers!  😍

And love that little element... adding just a peek of a doily to projects is so much fun!

I hope you enjoy this card!  Let me know if you have any questions on anything!

Rose Wonder Happy Birthday....

It's PARTY time!!!!  Yes...it is time for Stampin' Up!'s big convention extended weekend--called On Stage!  Whoooo!  I had a kick-off party with my group tonight!  (Tomorrow is the official day that it starts.)  We did a swap (OF COURSE!  This is where you make a certain number of one card and all trade with everyone else....so much fun!!!) and just wanted to share my card tonight!  I've been loving the "white card" trend that is happening...so I went with that theme...

I actually "colored" in the rose with my Wink of Stella Clear Glitter Brush.  So it's a sparkly rose!  Here is a different view of the card where you can hopefully see some of the sparkle.  Much prettier in real life...

Thanks for visiting!  Hope you enjoy this card!  Follow me on Facebook: Design With Ink...I will be posting from On Stage this weekend!
