Sweetest Cherries Birthday...Take 2!

A little bit ago I posted a birthday card made with the Sweetest Cherries Bundle.  Well...I loved it so much...I made it again and just changed a few things!  All supplies are still from Stampin' Up!

Colors Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Basic White, Gold
Inks:  Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Black
Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Thick Whisper White, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper
Stamps: Sweetest Cherries
Tools:  Cherries Builder Punch, Stitched Rectangle Dies, Heat Tool
Accessories: Metallics Embossing Powder, Baker's Twine, Solid Faceted Gems

If you saw my post from before...can you remember what changes I made?!  First of all...the card base is white.  That's new!  Also...instead of stamping the hash background in the same color as the paper I was stamping on...this time I embossed it in gold!  It is so pretty in real life!

Also...love this watercolor washed background...but I kept the cherries the same color and stamped them again in Polished Pink!  I LOVE the color of these cherries!

All in all...I hope you love this card!  Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if I can help you with any of your papercrafting needs!  Also...if you need help getting your hands on any Stampin' Up! supplies...please let me know!

"All Wrapped Up" With Christmas Season Gift Packaging!

I am sharing my project for Day EIGHT of Martin's 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge 2022 today!  Yeah, I am a little behind...but that's okay!  Work at your own pace!  Today's challenge was fun because it's a simple "All Wrapped Up" challenge.  So I went with a fun little chocolate treat that is "All Wrapped Up" for the holidays!  This is an idea you can alter to use for any size gift...I LOVE making festive tags and fun ribbons to add to my wrapping.  I think it adds a fairly quick, but special, touch to gifts.  The tags can even be used as an ornament if the receiver wants!

Colors Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Kraft
Inks:  Polished Pink, Granny Apple Green, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Kraft, Whisper White, Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Christmas Season, Christmas to Remember
Tools:  Seasonal Labels Dies, Heat Tool, Label Me Fancy Punch (for ribbon slit on top of tag)
Accessories: Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins, Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon, Simply Elegant Trim, Metallics Embossing Powder, 6"x8" Cellophane Bags

What do you think?!  Would you keep this tag around for years to come?!  I don't know that I would!  Haha.  I am seeing so many things I would change! Hee.  But alas...here are some more pictures of it...

The sentiment is embossed in gold onto the Kraft cardstock...and I LOVE that look.  I love the colors.  And I am ♡ REALLY LOVING ♡ this fun Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper that is in Stampin' Up!'s July-December Mini Catalog.  I am having a lot of fun using the designs for Christmas stuff.  😍

What did you or will you make for this #30dayChristmascardchallenge?  Here is one last look!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Or need any help getting your hands on any Stampin' Up! supplies.  I would love to help you with all your papercrafting supplies!

Whimsy Theme ... TGIF Challenge 395!

Ready for a fun challenge this week?!  Well yay...cause I have one for you!  I kinda went a bit off theme, but I personally think I stayed right on theme.  Hee.  First up...my card...

Colors Polished Pink, Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Parakeet Party, Basic White, Basic Black
Inks:  Polished Pink, Gorgeous Grape, Coastal Cabana, Parakeet Party, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Basic Black, Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper, 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper, Brushed Metallics Cardstock
Stamps: Spruced Up
Tools:  Spruced Up Outline Dies, Whimsical Woodland Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Blending Brush
Accessories: Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Basics Embossing Powders, Metallics Embossing Powder

Now ... the theme so I can explain myself.  😂

Now you are probably saying...WHAT?!  This is NOT fitting with the theme!  Well...here is my stance...gnomes are WHIMSICAL!  So I made a WHIMSICAL Christmas card with a whimsical color scheme.  So it WORKS!  😀  All the products from this card come from Stampin' Up!

On to some more pics of the card...

I embossed the tops of the ornaments with Gold Embossing Powder.  I always love how much detail embossing gives.  One of my very favorite details to add to projects.

I was going to mix & match some ornament shapes & patterns, but I just kept it kinda simple.  Stamped the same ornament in 3 colors.  I really like how it turned out.  And I ♡ LOVE ♡ the bundle I used here...the Spruced Up Bundle!! It actually cuts out this ornament AND an outline to the ornament.  So stay tuned for how I used those on another project! But they are really fun dies.

Like look how CUTE these stars are!  Obsessed!  And so WHIMSICAL!  Hee.

I also used an embossing folder in the background called Whimsical Woodland...does it get more whimsical than this?!  Haha.

I hope you enjoy this card and come play along with us this week!  Head on over to the

to see what the other designers did and play along with us!  💕  Can't wait to see what you make!

PLEASE let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help you with all of your papercrafting needs!  And if you need Stampin' Up! supplies...would love to help you with that also!

Embossed Treat Bag Meets Card Decor!

I have a fun little trick for you today ... I think you should use this in your gift giving!  😊

My youngest daughter has had a student teacher in her classroom this year, and she LOVES!! her.  Well...sadly...today is her last day with them in their classroom.  😢 She has been dreading this day all year long.  But of course we had to celebrate her and give her a little gift to say thank you.

This is where my little tip comes in!  I had made a card for her...using her favorite colors...and then put her little gift in one of Stampin' Up!'s Embossed Treat Bags.  Well...I was just going to tie some ribbon on the bag, but then had this thought!  I thought the card should be the focal point!  Haha.  SO...that's what I did!

Colors Parakeet Party, Daffodil Delight, Basic White, Basic Black
Inks:  Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party, Memento Tuxedo Black (for splatter), VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Thick Basic White, Basic Black, Vellum, Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, Black & White Designs Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Art Gallery, March 22 Paper Pumpkin - Beyond the Horizon
Tools:  Framed Florets Dies, Water Painter, Heat Tool
Accessories: Linen Thread, Basics Embossing Powders, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins, Embossed Treat Bag, Clear Envelope

Now...I am sure you are asking...how is that card staying on there?!  Well this is the fun trick!

***TIP!!!!*** Take a Clear Medium Envelope, cut it down to 4" tall, and adhere that to the front of the bag!  Then just add your card for a fun decorative focal point to the bag!  😍

What do you think?!  Taking or leaving this tip?!  Haha.  Would this be useful for you in your crafting & gift giving?!

Here is a closer look at the card...

Yellow & green are her favorite colors, so I did a watercolor wash on some Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  Then added some die cuts from the Framed Florets Dies, some greetings from a few stamp sets (Art Gallery & March 22 Paper Pumpkin-Beyond the Horizon), and some embelishments.

I hope you enjoy this card!  Thank you, Stampin' Up! for creating such fun products to make papercrafting so much fun!

The FITTING FLORETS Collection is AMAZING!  Some of the products will be in the January-June Mini Catalog coming up, and some are only available with this pre-release.  Check it all out HERE!  And please let me know if you have any questions!  I would love to help you with all of your papercrafting needs!

Warm Hugs to the Coolest Friend!

It's a 2-for1 type day today!  Day 2 & 3 of #30daychristmascardmakingchallenge!  In the Snow meets Warm & Cozy quite splendidly...if I do say so myself. 😉  Thanks to Stampin' Up! for creating all these fabulous products I mixed & matched to make this card!  And thanks again to Martin's Mayhem for creating this fun challenge!  💗

Colors Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana, Basic White, Basic Black, Gold
Inks:  Coastal Cabana, Parakeet Party, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Basic White, Thick Basic White, Basic Black, Vellum
Stamps: Celebrate With Tags Stamp Set, Tress For Sale Stamp Set, Alphabest Stamp Set, Penguin Place Stamp Set
Tools:  Tag Celebrations Dies, Chic Dies, Decorative Circle Punch, Timber 3D Embossing Folder, Blending Brushes, Water Painter (for splatter), Heat Tool
Accessories: Baker's Twine Essentials Pack, Basics Embossing Powders, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins

I mixed quite a few products for this card, as you can see above, but ultimately it's stamps & ink that make this card shine!  I stamped the trees on the bottom piece of the card front, used a Blending Brush to add some sky, then used some stamping and die-cutting for the rest of the details!  I LOVE those gold embossed mittens!

I hope you enjoy this card!  What are you making for this challenge?!  Can't wait to see!

And one last look at the card...

Thank you for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help getting any of these products!  I would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs!

30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge...Let's BEGIN!!!

SO EXCITING!  It is TIME TO BEGIN!  👏  My dear friend, Martin, has started another 30 Day Christmas Card Making Challenge this year!  And they are SO MUCH FUN to play along with!  Each day he has a new challenge.  And you just make something and post it with the ##30DayChristmasCardMakingChallenge hashtag!  It is so much fun to play along and see what everyone else is making around the globe!  In 100% transparency...Christmas crafting is not my favorite crafting.  But this gets me excited about it!  A worldwide event...well how FUN is that?!  So ... let's BEGIN with Day 1!!!!

Today's challenge is easy...you just use RED in a dominant way!  Well...since PINK is a shade of red...that's what I went with!  Hee.  And this card came together in just about 15 ish mins!  So it is quite quick & easy!

Colors Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, Basic White, Gold
Inks:  Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, VersaMark
Cardstock/Papers: Polished Pink, Basic White, Basic Black, Vellum, 2021-2023 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Christmas Season, Christmas to Remember
Tools:  Seasonal Labels Dies, Beautiful Shapes Dies, Bough Punch, Heat Tool
Accessories: Simply Elegant Trim, Basics Embossing Powders, Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins

There was a lot that I wanted to add or do differently to this card...but in light of this being a BUSY time of year...I just went with it and left it just like this!  Stampin' Up!'s Beautiful Shapes Dies made the hexagon wreath & the Christmas Season Stamp Set and Seasonal Labels Dies made the holly detail.  💗  The greeting is from the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set and the Vellum detail is made with the Bough Punch.

What do you think?!  Does this qualify for this "Something Red" Challenge?! 😆

One last peek at the card and then I want to see what you are making!

Here is a peek at the whole month view of challenges.  Play along when you can!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions!  Would love to help you with any of your papercrafting needs!  And would also love to help you get your hands on any Stampin' Up! supplies you need!
