Don't Forget the Hostess Sets...

Today I'm sharing a fun card made with one of Stampin' Up!'s hostess sets...Iconic Occasions.  What are hostess sets?!  Well...in every catalog, Stampin' Up! has stamp sets that are just available to a host.  A host can host their own party in house or online, gather orders from friends, or even just place a qualifying order themselves! (In the US that is $150.)  So much fun, right?!  Well here is a card made with the "Iconic Occasions" stamp set...

Colors: Wild Wasabi, Calypso Coral, So Saffron

Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, So Saffron, Crumb Cake, Subtles Paper Stack, Watercolor Paper

Stamps: Iconic Occasions

Tools: Big Shot, Layering Circles Framelits, Lots of Labels Framelits, Heat Tool

Accessories: Linen Thread, Gold Thread, Very Vanilla Lace Trim, Gold Sequin Trim, Classy Designer Buttons

So fun, right?!  Lots of layers and texture here...

I did some embossing with some of the stamps on the Watercolor Paper with Whisper White embossing powder.  Then did a watercolor was with an Aqua Painter and ink pads.  (Just smoosh the ink pad together before opening to create a pool of ink in the lid.  Then pick up some color with the Aqua Painter and add the color to the Watercolor Paper.)
