Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! I hope everyone is having a great day. This will be a quick post because we're having a fun family day today. :) But I made this card quite awhile ago, and just have forgotten to share it. I got the idea from Linda Heller. Anyway: how fun is this?! It's a tri-fold card embossed with the Manhattan Impression Die. It's TOO much fun! :) Hope you enjoy!
Here it is all tied up and ready to give. You just slide the ribbon off to open it up.
When it's opened up, this is what it looks like. I LOVE this die! It's makes cards so pretty! Thanks for visiting!

Cupcake Inspiration...

Today's cards come from a fabulous card done by my downline and good friend, Megan. She is SO talented! I don't think she has made anything I haven't fallen in love with. :) Here is the card...
You can check out her blog HERE and see all the cute things she does. :) Anyway: I loved this card and thought it was so fabulous. I actually loved it so much that I didn't want to stand alone. I thought it needed a card set. :) So...here are the cards I did with it. I kept everything the same...why mess with a good thing?! :) I just changed the papers. On to the cards...

I made two each of all four of these cards. All of them have some glitter on them as well. :) Gotta LOVE that! :) NOW...I actually made a box for them all to go in. I just didn't get a picture of it so that will have to be shared later. :) These cards (or cards like them) might turn in to my card class for the month. We'll have to see. Anyway: all of these cards are done with the Wagon Full of Fun set in the mini catalog. It's a FABULOUS set and I LOVE it! I have had so much fun playing with it the past few days. I'll have some more cards to show you that I did with it later. :) Anyway: here is a picture of each card closer up. Hopefully you can see the glitter in these a bit better.

Ink: Basic Black
Card Stock: Kraft, Whisper White, Basic Black, Close to Cocoa, Riding Hood Red
Accessories: Washington Apple Designer Series Paper, Assorted Stampin' Write markers, Vintage Brads, Word Window Punch, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter

Club Day for April...

Today was club day! I love club each month. It's fun to get together with the gals and chat, eat, stamp, and just have a good time. Today we had a special show by my daughter. Right at the end of club, she threw up ALL OVER!! Seriously...couldn't believe how much she had in her. More than you cared to know....sorry! But I felt SO BAD (for those that witnessed it, for her for throwing up, for me for cleaning it up, and then for my friend that helped me clean it up!!!!!). What a day, right?! :) Anyway: we won't let that distract us from the projects...

We made this fun Easter Basket card with the Baskets Die. SO much fun! I showed you the full basket yesterday, but why not use one side of it for the front of a card?! :) I ran the basket piece through the Big Shot again using the Weave texturz plate to make it look even more like a basket. And look at that cute chick....
His shell is all glittery! I LOVE this Easter set and had fun with him this year again. :)
We also made this box with the Box #2 Big Shot Die. Then I just used the Wide Oval Punch to punch a window and used the FABULOUS new window sheets that are in the Stampin' Up! Mini catalog to create the window. Too much fun. :) I love these eggs. They are from the "Wagon Full of Fun" set in the Mini as well. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

Basket Fun...

Quick post today. I am actually working on a secret mission right now, so just have a quick project for you today. :) Ok....so it's not really a secret mission....that just sounded fun to say. :) I was picked to be a display stamper for Stampin' Up!'s convention this year so I've been working on a few things for that. I just can't show you those things until after convention. (FYI....Stampin' Up! has a big convention each summer for all their demonstrators. Basically...it's a 4 day stamping party and it's SO MUCH FUN! Yes...I know people that sign up to be demonstrators just to go to this event....it's that cool! :) Hehe. They have a ton of displays for you to take pictures of that other demo's have submitted to Stampin' Up! for different things. Then they also pick a handful of demo's to make project using new catalog stuff so we can have ideas immediately. I was one of those lucky handful this year to get to do this for this year! :) Yeah! Anyway...there was more info on that than you really cared to know, huh?!) On to today's project...
I have had this Basket Die for SO LONG and just haven't used it too much. So I decided to make a quick basket with it. And WHY NOT combine it with another fun Big Shot item?! I cut out the basket pieces and then ran them through the Big Shot again using the Stampin' Up! Manhattan Flower Textured Die. (I put a picture of it at the bottom so you can see what it looks like.) How much fun is that?! I think it adds such a fun texture! Here is a close-up...
I sponged some ink on the flowers to make them pop a bit more. My basket is So Saffron, so I just sponged it with some So Saffron ink. Then made a little tag and Voila! How fun and easy is that?! It really did go together so quick and I think it's quite cute. :) Here is what the whole die looks like...

Hope you enjoy! Thanks for visiting!

What to stamp?!

Have you ever had days where you were totally in the mood to stamp...you just didn't know WHAT you wanted to do?! You even have a million things on your "stamping to-do" list, but you just don't want to do any of those. :) I had one of those days yesterday. I totally wanted to stamp....didn't have a clue as to what I wanted to do....but knew that I didn't want to do anything I HAD to do. :) So I tapped my fingers on my desk for a bit and then pulled out some card stock, started playing around, and came up with this...
I just started playing around with measurements and came up with this box. Then I spotted this die for my Big Shot and I decided to make a fun flower for the front. Look at those YUMMY corduroy brads! LOVE those things! :) Now...notice the funny thing about this project?! Barely any stamping! What can I say....my Big Shot made things SO easy! :) Here is a side view...
And then with the box open....
Now what for the inside?! How about some fun cards to match?!
You can only see 3 in this shot, but there are 4 cards in there. They are all the same, and I think it would make a fun card set. I wanted to make them generic cards so they all just say "happy" like the front of the box. (Because what can I say?! This project makes me happy. :) )So they could be birthday, friend, thinking of you, totally whatever. :)

Then here is the card. I made the same flower (just a bit smaller) and basically the same layout. Simple and clean cards.

What's that in the center?! you might ask. Well....it's the new small grommets from the mini catalog with some of the Supernova fine glitter. How FUN! :)

Here's a group shot of everything. Hope you enjoy! I know this project totally made me happy and I had a lot of fun with it! Hopefully it will inspire you to go do something stampy! :) Thanks for visiting!

So here is a cute birthday card...with a surprise!
That center square opens up and has AN ENVELOPE inside for a special message or small gift! What a fun idea...I think! :)
Hope you enjoy! Hope you are having a GREAT Saturday! Thanks for looking! If you have any questions on what was used....let me know!

Hawaii was AWESOME!!!

Just wanted to do a post dedicated to the Hawaii trip my husband just went on. Let me tell you....Stampin' Up! SPOILS us! I still can't believe what I just got to do. It was awesome and so much fun! I posted all about it on my family blog HERE if you want to see that. I'm going to keep this post focused more on stamping, since that's what you care about. :) On this incentive trip, demo's will bring things to share with everyone else. They actually do a big "share" night where people set there things out to show you. One of my friends, Wendy, brought some stuff to show that I got to see before share night. Which is good since I was super late to share night. :) So here are a few of her projects that she showed...
Look at this cute treat pouch! Love it!

Here is a hinge card that uses some NEW stamps from the OCCASIONS mini! Love it!

Look at THIS fabulous card!!!! These butterflies are made with the Big Shot Beautiful Butterfly die. I LOVE that thing! :) Then the body of the butterfly is done with stuff from the Pretties Kit. I am definitely going to be making this. : ) That yummy paper is from the New Occasions Mini as well!

Now I want to share with you how much Stampin' Up! spoils us! We got pillow gifts the whole time we were there. Here is what they were...

The first thing we got were these bags. One for my hubby and one for me! :) The one for me matches the travel pouch they sent us before we went with all our travel documents in it.
Now this isn't from Stampin' Up! This is from my friend, Dawn Raspas. HOW NICE IS SHE to make me this?! I LOVE IT and immediately put it on my bag and look how cute it is! :)
This was our next gift. Look how cute this is! :) Now inside it gets even better! There is a NEW stamp set (from the UPCOMING catalog! :) SO CUTE but I can't share...sorry! :) ) Then there also were ink pads and accessories. So MUCH FUN!
Look how fun this is! And inside....
Even more fun! :)
This bundle is a sarong from a local guy there. I didn't get a pic of me in it, but maybe I will! :)
And the last gift we got was this darling necklace. I love it. It will help me keep the aloha spirit alive! :) (And help me remember my dream of wanting to live in Hawaii now! :) )
ALOHA and MAHOLA!!!
