A Fancy Friday Butterfly Gala Sketch!

Hey!  Have you seen all the fabulous cards that the Stampin' Fancy Friday Design Team have been posting on social media all month?!  I hope so!  Because I finally get to share the card I made!  😀 

Colors: Whisper White, Basic Black, Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Gold

Inks:  Magenta Madness, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Memento Jet Black

Cardstock/Papers: Whisper White, Basic Black, Gold Foil Sheets

Tools: Stitched Rectangle Dies, Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder, Butterfly Duet Punch

Accessories: Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack

I love a fun white & black color combo with pops of color!  And that's exactly what this sketch called for when I sat down to play.  😁  All I did was stamp the butterflies onto Whisper White cardstock with Memento Black ink.  Then I just used my sponge daubers and dabbed some colors on.  Then punched them out!  

I love this little black and white stripe trim piece.  I just cut some narrow strips of Basic Black cardstock, and adhered it to Whisper White cardstock.  Then added it to the cardstock panel.  I love doing this because it is so easy to add such a dynamic piece.  💖

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Brick & Mortar Embossing Folder.  It makes my heart happy every time I see it.  💕

Dandy Wishes Is Mad For Plaid...TGIF Challenge 301:

 Woot!  It's TGIF Challenge time!  What is this, you may be asking?!  Well...once a week the TGIF Challenge Design Team (yes!  I am on this fabulous team!!!) hosts a challenge.  And you have all week to make a project using the challenge as inspiration!  And the design team posts samples they have made to give you more inspiration!  Then you just upload your creation on the TGIF Challenge Blog!  We even vote for a winner for the week!  💗  So want to play along this week?!  Yay!  Because this week is even MORE fun!  It is a Designer Take Over Challenge week!!!  This means that someone on the design team is "taking over" our challenge!  This week...it is Stesha Bloodhart that is taking over!  Yay!  She's AMAZING!!!  💗

Can you guess the challenge based on this card?!  Well here is a graphic that may help you figure it out.  😀 

 It is a Mad For Plaid Challenge!!!!  How fun!  So I used the Best Plaid Builder Dies and the Buffalo Check Stamp to make the plaid background.

Then I used the ☆ FABULOUS ☆ Dandy Wishes Dies to create the focal point!  Love these!  I die cut the flowers in white then used the new Blending Brushes to add some color.  I love the more subtle look  and variation of color!

Birthday Celebration Galore with You Are Amazing Stamp Set!

Quick post today to share a quick card!  I will be making hundreds of these throughout the year, so it had to be simple!  (And quick to make!)  My first batch was about 105! 💖  Here was my first step...some fussy cutting!

I stamped the bubble and then the greeting from the NEW "You Are Amazing" Stamp Set & then cut them all out!  Then I added them to the cards!  I did a couple different color combos...and can't decide which one I like the most!  😁

Colors: Whisper White, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana, Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Magenta Madness

I stamped the bubble in Pool Party and the greeting in Bermuda Bay for both of the cards.  Then the stripes on this card are: Bermuda Bay, Daffodil Delight, & Granny Apple Green.

I LOVE the Dainty Diamonds Embossing Folder & I LOVE the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins...and LOVE them even more on this card.  💕

This was a fun card to make, just using a lot of ink for texture.  There is sponging, embossing, and splattering!

First...I used the polka dot mask from the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks & the *NEW* Blending Brushes!!! (In the Jan-Jun 2021 Mini Catalog!) to sponge some polka dots in Gray Granite ink.

Then I made a little heart mask from a piece of Vellum Cardstock to sponge the hearts in Just Jade.

I love this inked layered look.  It creates so much texture without a ton of layers.  I did add a few layers of cardstock cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

It is time for another challenge!  A TGIF Challenge!  Yay!  This one is a fun one too, AND I used NEW product from Stampin' Up!'s NEW January-June 2021 Mini Catalog AND the NEW Sale-A-Bration Brochure!  Plus I mixed in something from that Annual Catalog.   Who wants to see?!

What do you think?!  Look at these fun blooms!  I LOVE this Pretty Perennials Bundle!  It is so much fun!  And mixed with the Buffalo Check Stamp Set...well I just love the fresh and fun vibe.  And that Buffalo Check Stamp Set is the whole purpose of this card...because that is what the challenge is about!  Background Stamps!

Also...something else that is fun about this card...it is Sale-A-Bration time!  Which means FREE stuff!  This greeting comes from one of the stamp sets that you can earn FREE, Heal Your Heart!  And I love the different panels of the background stamp...just a little touch of texture and uniqueness. 💕

Have you ever used your Blends Markers to color on Crumb Cake cardstock?  I love the look of the colors like this.  I stamped, colored, splattered, and then embossed it.

And I love subtle texture on cards...like these distressed and curled corners.  Its so easy to just curl a bit with a Bone Folder to break down the fibers of the cardstock.  Then separate the layers a bit.

It's a Black & White Day for TGIF Challenge 297:

Happy New Year!  Welcome 2021!!!  Anyone else as ready for this new year as me?!  🙌 Today is a day of CELEBRATION... so here's to celebrating YOU...2021!  😀💕And all of us that made it through 2020!

This card turned out differently than I set out to do...but ended up just going for a BOLD start to the year! And since it is a Black & White Challenge...that makes sense, right?!  😉  

I LOVE this Tailored Tag Punch.  Just so much fun to use a million different ways!  I love the geometric pattern created here by just punching and adhereing to cardstock. 

Isn't it so much fun?!  And even though it is a black & white challenge... I just had to add a pop of color...and one of my fave colors, of course!  You can't start a new year without a POP of color, right?!  😁What color would you choose to start the year off with?!  Coastal Cabana for me!
