Delicate Details...TGIF Challenge - 91

It's FRIDAY!!!!  Woot!  Ready for a fabulous TGIF Challenge?!  I hope so!  Because here you go...

YAY!  Valentines' day is coming!  I love Valentine's because ANYTHING PINK GOES!!!  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the color pink, so this is a big deal for me.  :-)  Hee.

I used a Sale-A-Bration stamp set called "Delicate Details" for this card.  I LOVE this stamp set.  It is SO CUTE and so quick and easy to use.  Here's the card I made...

Quick and simple.  I didn't even put a greeting on it because I loved the basic/clean look of this card just the way it is.  And all those fun details!  SO FUN!  Here's how I did it...

  1. Do a quick watercolor wash with an Aqua Painter and Blushing Bride ink onto Watercolor Paper.
  2. Let it dry.
  3. Line the stamps over the paper how you want them, with the side that you mount on the block facing up.
  4. Place Clear Block F over the stamps, mounting them all on once.
  5. Ink up stamps with Basic Black ink and stamp on the Watercolor Paper.

(This photo is obviously before I did the watercolor wash.  But follow the steps I explained so you don't smear the black ink when you do the watercolor.)

Love this! I'm a big fan of water colour backgrounds and am loving yours. Love the soft pink water colour wash and the dark black lace stamps. That big gold heart across the front is a fabulous touch of bling. Rochelle xo
