WOW! Anyone in blog land out there still?! Sorry I have not been a dependable blog poster! Today I am sharing the card for my club group in August. Since we didn't meet for club this month (my babe was just 3 weeks old and I was in crazy newborn stage), my club gals just got this card and their project with their orders! August is a busy month for everyone, so I think it worked for all! But here is the card...
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the "Gorgeous Grunge" stamp set. Mix that with "Chalk Talk" and you have some fun elements for a card. I really don't make many things without using the "Gorgeous Grunge" set these days! Here are a few different views of the card...
I LOVE how just a few details really add to the look of the card. Today I want to show you how the card looked before just a few of the details were added...
What's missing?! All that is missing is the button with bow and the Melon Mambo punched flowers with rhinestones. That's all. And yet it makes a world of difference. Here is the finished card again...
Adding just a few special touches really makes this a more "wow" card...in my opinion.
Color Combo: Smokey Slate, Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Island Indigo, and Pear Pizazz.
Stamps: Gorgeous Grunge, Chalk Talk
Hope you enjoy this card! Thanks so much for visiting! I would love to hear any comments! :) And will try to be a more dependable blogger! :)

July Club Project...
Here is the project we created in our July club meeting...
How fun is this nifty altered folder turned card holder?!?! It was so easy to do and MUCH better to look at! :) It started at as a clear accordion pocket file holder thing. (Have NO idea what it is really called!) With some fun coordinating paper, punches, stamps, and accessories...WHAM! It's adorable! :) Here are some more pics...
I LOVE that Mosaic stamp set and coordinating punch. SO Easy and cute to use! And that ruffled ribbon...YUM! So fun and stretchy and cute!
Hope you enjoy this project! Thanks for visiting!

July Club Card...
Since I am a bit behind...better start catching up!
Here is the card we made back in our July club meeting!
It's a fun pocket card (love making these!) that would certainly cheer up any one's day! :) Here is the card and the insert that's inside...
To make this card you just cut your cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score (with the 8 1/2" side at the top of your Simply Scored tool) at 1" and 4 1/4". Then just fold on the 1" score line towards you and then the 4 1/4" score line away from you. And you have your cute pocket card. We tied the ribbon knot to secure the pocket closed. I don't like using adhesive because then it makes it harder to get the insert in and out.
Here are a few more pics...
This is washi tape on the bottom of the insert. LOVE LOVE LOVE Washi tape!!!!
Hope you enjoy this card! If you ever want to know more about my Stampin' Club...just let me know! You can join whether you live near me or far away! designwithink@gmail.com
