It is October Blog Hop Time with Stampin' Up!'s Artisan Design Team!!!!

YAY!!!  It is time to hop around the globe and visit all sorts of fun projects!  And it's HOLIDAY time!  We are focusing on different suites from Stampin' Up!'s 2019 Holiday Catalog!   If you are just getting started...WELCOME!  You are in for a treat!  If you just came from Angela's Blog...well I'm certain you are inspired already!  πŸ˜ƒ

I am pretty excited to share my projects today.  I kinda love them!  They both focus heavily on watercoloring...one of my most very favorite techniques.  But both of these watercolored cards also feature heat embossing!  Another love of mine!  So here goes nothing!! Ready for some watercoloring?!  And ready for some fall leaves with the Gather Together Bundle?!

I love these little beauties!  What do you think?!  They have made my heart smile every time I have looked at them!  But I want to show you them a little closer!

This card was a blast to make!  I started with a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  Then I just embossed some leaves with White Stampin' Emboss Powder.  I colored them in using ink and an Aqua Painter, and then colored the background in Pool Party.  I added some splatter with the Golden Glitz Delicata Metallic ink.

How pretty is that?!  Right?!?!?  I LOVE this color combo!  (And it is the same for both cards I am sharing...Pool Party, Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight,  Granny Apple Green, and Gold.)

On to this next fun card where I added some watercoloring a little differently...

For this one I started out by coloring strips of watercolor paper...

Easy peasy, right?!  Just add some color!  Then you just adhere them down to cardstock that is cut to size of how you want it.  (Strips will be longer than the cardstock.)

Then just trim it down, emboss some leaves on there, add some splatter, and Viola!

Easy peasy!  Then to finish it off, I just colored some of the Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon with the Calpyso Coral Light Marker, and added it to the panel.  😍😍😍

Finish the card and then just sit back and stare.  It's ok!  It's worth it!  Hee.

I hope you enjoy these projects!  I can't wait for you to see the rest!  So keep hopping head and go find Aurelie's blog next!  You will be glad you did!
