Stampin' Blends Party!!! Color It All!!!

So....have to admit...I'm just a little bit excited.  I have a fun post up on Stampin' Up!'s Facebook page!!!!  AHHHHHHHH!!!  This Artisan year of mine has been a dream.  I still am pinching myself!  Feel free to check the post out HERE!   And...I'm also going to share it all right here in this post!!!

If you couldn't tell from the title of this post...today is ALL about the Stampin' Blends Markers!!!

Have you colored with them yet? I hope so! If you have, then you probably agree with me when I talk about how magical they are! They color like a dream—with no streak marks, beautiful vibrant shades of color, and they’re so easy to use! But did you know that you can do SO MUCH MORE with them than just color your stamped images? They are alcohol-based markers, so the possibilities are endless! Today I’m going to share you just a few of my favorite ways to use them!
I’ll start by showing you how beautiful they are to color with. The Seaside Notions Stamp Set (item 149278) is perfect to use with Blends and is one of my favorite stamp sets anyway! Win-win! Also, I have to note that the Smooth Sailing Dies (item 149576) and the Under the Sea Dies (item 146334) work great with this stamp set, as well! The Blends colors I used here are: Flirty Flamingo Light & Dark (item 147278); Bermuda Bay Light & Dark (item 144600); Petal Pink Light & Dark (item 147272); Lovely Lipstick Light & Dark (item 147281); and Mango Melody Light & Dark (item 147945). I just love how much depth the stamped images have after they are colored.

I LOVE this watercolor wash background.  Perfect for the scene these stamped images create also!

Now let’s talk about what else you can do! Did you know you can color your embellishments with Stampin’ Blends? Yay! Epoxy droplets, rhinestones, pearls, etc. in any color! Here I colored some Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (item 147801) to make some bubbles for my tag.

They are so easy to color!

And then look at how that fun detail turns out...

Of course I love it...but what do you think?  It’s all about the details, and I love that fun little detail!

Last, let me show you my FAVORITE thing to do with Stampin’ Blends. Did you know you can COLOR RIBBON with them? Yes! You really can! My favorite ribbon to color is the 3/8" Metallic-Edge Ribbon . . . it comes in both Silver (item 144213) and Gold (item 144146) so you always can have the perfect finishing touch for your projects. I used the gold ribbon for this Mini Pizza Box (item 144645).

I LOVE the result...

So what do you think? Does this make you want to get those Stampin’ Blends Markers out and get playing? I hope these fun tips help you start exploring them more! This is just the beginning of what you can do with them!
Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!
