Having a Sketchy Time With Stampin' Fancy Friday!

Have you seen the Stampin' Fancy Friday sketch challenge for August yet?!  Did you follow along to see all the FABULOUS cards the design team made?!  (IG: @stampinfancyfriday or FB: Stampin' Fancy Friday

Did you make your own?!  I want to see if you did!  😊 And since I want to see yours, I guess I should share the one I made!

Colors Gray Granite, Pale Papaya, Parakeet Party, Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral, Basic White
Inks:  Gray Granite, Pale Papaya, Parakeet Party, VersaMark, BLENDS: Calypso Coral
Cardstock/Papers: Gray Granite, Coastal Cabana, Basic White
Stamps: Simply Fabulous
Tools:  Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Timeworn Type Embossing Folder, Heat Tool
Accessories: Linen Thread, Basics Embossing Powder (white), Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels

I really had such a fun time with this card.  First of all, here is the official sketch:

Such a fun one, with so many possibilities, right?!  😍  That is why I can't wait to see what you made!

Here are just a few more pictures of my card, with some details:

Love the textures!  So much!  I used a few different embossing folders for this look:  Painted Texture & Timeworn Type.

This white sentiment on Coastal Cabana cardstock gives me all sorts of feels.  Hee.  I LOVE it!  Also...the stripe under the sentiment...are you asking where that is from?!  Well...I made it!  Basic White cardstock and a Blends Marker!

Just draw some stripes and adhere it under the sentiment!  SO easy and gives such a fun detail.  And you can do it in just about any color! Or multi-colored!  Or anything!

The stamp set I used on this card, Simply Fabulous, truly is just that! 💕 SIMPLY FABULOUS! 💕 It is such a fun and easy one to use, and is SO versatile!  I've had a lot of fun with it already, and I have many plans to keep having fun with it.  😀

Thank you for visiting!  I hope you enjoy!  Let me help you with your papercrafting needs and helping you get the Stampin' Up! supplies that you need!  Just send me a message!  Would be happy to help with anything!

Bough Embossed Treat Bag Thank You...

I love how beautiful & special a simple tag on a cute treat bag can be.  Life really is all about the little things, huh?! 😊

Colors Petal Pink, Pool Party, White
Inks:  Memento Black
Cardstock/Papers: Petal Pink, Pool Party, Awash In Beauty Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Tools:  Bough Punch
Accessories: Brushed Brass Butterflies, Pool Party 3/8" Sheer Ribbon, Embossed Treat Bag

These Embossed Treat Bags that are in Stampin' Up!'s Annual Catalog are so gorgeous!  This tag (and coordinating paper shred!) just add a classy touch.  😀

It really doesn't get a whole lot more simple than this.  I just cut the Designer Series Paper down to size (3"x4"), added a Basic White piece with a Brushed Gold strip with a stamped greeting, and then the punched bough shape.  And those FABULOUS Brushed Brass Butterflies!  I mean, really,

You could make this tag a million different ways by just using different paper/punch combos.  It's a fun & simple layout that just takes minutes to do! 😍  And just had to share what a different the coordinating paper shred makes.  Here is the bag & tag without the shred!  Still cute, if I do say so myself, but a little "punch!" factor is lost.  Haha.

I hope you enjoy this project!  Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions or need any help with anything!  I would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs.  Including helping you get your hands on some Stampin' Up! supplies!

Beachy Paradise Palms...TGIF Challenge 382!

It's that time again!  As a designer on the TGIF Design Team...we have assigned weeks that we participate in the challenges.  This week actually isn't my assigned week.  But once you see the challenge...I think you will know why I had to participate!!!  Haha.  Without further ado...here is my card!

Now can you tell why I just had to participate?!  Haha.  It is a theme challenge all about the BEACH!  Yes! Please!  Haha.

Just a few quick photos & info!
  • I used the Artistically Inked Stamp Set in a few ways on this card.  I did a watercolor wash in a few colors, but on the bottom...I used one of the stamps from that stamp set and stamped over where I watercolored.  This is subtle, but added a little depth to the "water" on the bottom.
  • I also used the Artistically Inked Stamp Set for the sun!  Yes...it is a "flower" technically speaking.  But I embossed it in gold for a fun sun!
  • That fun detailed edge is from the Palms Dies!  I just adhered half of it behind the side of the focal point and I LOVE the detail that adds!  I cut it from the Brushed Metallic
  • Hard to tell in photos, so just trust me on this one 😂, but I used the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush all over the watercolor wash to make it all sparkly.  It is so pretty in real life!  😍  Especially out in the sunshine.

I hope you enjoy this card! Thank you so much for visiting!  Now you just need to head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog to participate in this weeks challenge!  Can't wait to see what you make! Please let me know if you have any questions on anything!

Hippest Hippos In Love With TGIF Challenge 381!

Quick post today sharing the latest TGIF Challenge!  It is one of my favorite kinds of challenges...a SKETCH Challenge!  This is such a great way to get the creative juices flowing.  And you can stick to it exact or make some changes.  Here is the card I made...then I will show you the sketch!

Colors Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Gray Granite, Basic Black, Basic White
Inks:  Coastal Cabana, Memento Black, Versamark, BLENDS: Gray Granite, Polished Pink, Parakeet Party, Melon Mambo
Cardstock/Papers: Basic Black, Basic White, 2021-2023 In Color 6"x6" Designer Series Paper
Stamps: Hippest Hippos
Tools:  Hippo Dies, Beautiful Shapes Dies, Painted Texture Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Blending Brush
Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Adhesive-Backed Sequins & Gems

Don't you LOVE these cute Hippos from the Sale-A-Bration brochure?!  They were pretty fun to craft with, if I do say so myself.  Haha.

And here is the card sketch for the week!

So you can see...I followed the sketch, but made a few tweaks.  I moved the banner piece up under the focal point, used a hexagon instead of a circle and changed the size of the front cardstock piece.

The hexagon I cut out from the Beautiful Shapes Dies and used a Blending Brush to add some Coastal Cabana color.  I colored the hippos with Blends...can I just say how much I LOVE these markers?!  They color so beautifully!  I didn't do any blending of the colors...just used the two different shades to color them in.  😍

There is the cutest die set that you can also get from the Sale-A-Bration brochure that coordinates with the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set.  Has some super cute and fun elements.  And this flower was part of it!  I just cut some out and added them to the background with sequins on top.

This was such a fun & cheery card to do!  I hope you enjoy it too!  Now head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog & play along with us this week!  Can't wait to see what you make!

Thank you so much for visiting!  Please let me know if you have any questions or need help getting your hands on these products or any other Stampin' Up! products...just let me know!

Bough Punch Birthday!

Just sharing a fun birthday card today in a fave color combo of mine.  😊  LOVE this Bough Punch.  And an easy way to make a fun focal point is an image repeated.  So I just punched three out and added them to the center of my card...after I used a Blending Brush to add some Polished Pink ink to Basic White cardstock.

Colors Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Basic White
Inks:  Polished Pink, Versamark
Cardstock/Papers: Coastal Cabana, Basic Black, Basic White
Stamps: Artistically Inked
Tools: Bough Punch, Gingham Embossing Folder, Timber Embossing Folder, Heat Tool, Blending Brush, Water Painter
Accessories: Basics Embossing Powders, Simply Elegant Trim, 2021-2023 In Color Opal Rounds

Add a few more photos of some details ...

Ink blending, splatter, a greeting, embossing, some trim and an embellishment...and there you have it!

I have to admit...I'm quite in love with this card.  💖

I hope you enjoy it also!  Let me know if you have any questions on anything!  Would love to help you with all your papercrafting needs!  If you need help getting any Stampin' Up! supplies...let me know!
