Rays of Light for TGIF Challenge 369!
Do you have your hands on the ☆NEW☆ Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog?! Well if so...the TGIF Challenge this week will be SUPER easy! Because it's all about the annual catalog!
I FELL IN LOVE with the Rays of Light Stamp Set (it is a big background one) the second I saw it. So when I went to figure out what was inspiring me for this challenge...this one jumped out at me!
And really...when I said this challenge was all about the Annual Catalog...I wasn't kidding! Here is the official challenge for you! ...
♡ USE THAT CATALOG FOR INSPIRATION!!! ♡ then share your project over on our TGIF Challenge Blog!
A little bit about my card...I embossed those fabulous Rays of Light in gold. I love them so much! Added a little focal piece, but you really could just add a greeting (or nothing!) to this stamp set and it would be fabulous! But here are some pictures of the details...

Sweet Songbirds Colors...TGIF Challenge 367!!!
COLOR CHALLENGE DAY! for TGIF Challenge 367!! Yay! So quick and easy! Check out my card below to see what I made with the colors, then head to the TGIF Challenge Blog to see the cards submitted by the rest of the TGIF Design Team! Then...play along and post your project over on the TGIF Challenge Blog! Can't wait to see what you make!
This is why I love color challenges! I would never have thought to use these colors today and I don't use any of these colors on a regular basis. But it was so much fun to "branch" out! (Get it...bird card, branch?! Haha. 😂) Here are the colors to use!
And here are some more on the details of the card. I did a bit of "generational" stamping. Thats where you stamp multiple times, without re-inking. It gives you different tones of the same color and can add a lot of depth. I used it on the musical notes, nest, and leaves...
I also used a Blending Brush on the background (started with Basic White cardstock) with Pale Papaya ink. I wanted that color, but wanted the cardstock elements I added behind the focal piece to subtly pop. So...same tone, just a lighter color because I blended ink. Can also get a bit of an ombre by doing this.
All in all...I had a lot of fun making this card and using these colors! What are you going to make?! I can't wait to see! Head on over to the TGIF Challenge Blog now to check out the rest! And let me know if you have any questions! Would love to help you with your papercrafting needs...including helping getting your hands on these fabulous Stampin' Up! products!

Sailboat Birthday Adventure...
Do you know someone that loves sailboats & all things ocean?! Well me too! 💕 So I made them a fun sailboat card to wish them a Happy Birthday!
Let me point out a few fun details that make this card pop a bit. First up is the "ocean" the sailboat is sailing on. I first stamped it a few times on the bottom of my cardstock piece in Coastal Cabana ink. Right after stamping, while it was still wet, I spritzed it with water to let the colors bleed. You still get the texture from the stamp, but it becomes more "organic" with the water spritzing.
And this sailboat is so cute and fun! I stamped the sails in Flirty Flamingo...one I stamped full strength. And one I stamped "off" before stamping again to get a lighter shade of the same color. (Stamping "off" just means to stamp on scrap paper first then stamp again without re-inking.) I stamped the boat in Soft Suede. Then just punched them out! (***Tip for builder punches*** punch the punch using a piece of scrap paper first. Then as you stamp each piece...use the scrap piece as a guide to stamp your pieces. Just line up each stamp over your cardstock, stamp it, and then it is all easily lined up to punch out at once!)
